    PERSEPSI DOSEN FKIP TENTANG PERKULIAHAN DARING SEBAGAI SARANA PEMBELAJARAN DI MASA COVID-19

    ABSTRACTIn a descriptive study that examines the perceptions of Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) students about online lectures as a learning tool during the Covid-19 pandemic. Perception data was obtained from the Asahan University Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) questionnaires which were distributed to lecturers who carried out the online teaching and learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study uses the student population of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Universiatas Asahan (UNA). The sample in this study was 26 lecturers as respondents consisting of 3 fields of study program in FKIP Asahan University, namely Mathematics Education and Indonesian Language and Literature Education and English Language Education. The results showed that overall there were 17 lecturers who did online learning through the Whatsapp application and 14 lecturers also did the Google Classroom application and 1 lecturer did on Google Meet and on the zoom application as many as 4 lecturers with other options as many as 3 lecturers. However, in the single application from the data above, there are 8 lecturers who only do online learning using Whatsapp and 5 lecturers who only use the Google Classroom application. Lecturers' responses during online learning as a whole give negative responses and suggestions, it can be seen from the questionnaire in the fifth statement from a sample of 26 lecturers, there are 38%, namely 10 lecturers choose "disagree" and 27% or 7 lecturers choose "quite agree" and choose " agree "and 8% only 2 lecturers who choose" strongly agree”. Keywords: Perception, online learning, Lecture

    Community service activities carried out at elementary school teachers in Asahan Regency to introduce learning technology in the revolutionary 4.0 era using microteaching laboratories. By introducing this laboratory to elementary school teachers, it is hoped that it can improve the knowledge and creativity of teachers in teaching and learning activities in today's digital era. This laboratory can be used for all subjects so that each teacher can use the laboratory. The purpose of this activity is to introduce microteaching laboratories for elementary school teachers in Asahan Regency in order to increase teaching creativity.     PERSEPSI MAHASISWA FKIP TENTANG PEMBELAJARAN DARING SELAMA PANDEMI COVID-19

    ABSTRACT Online lectures are lectures that are conducted online by utilizing technology as a means of learning. In a descriptive study that examines the perceptions of Teaching and Education Faculty (FKIP) students about online lectures as a means of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The sample in this study were students of FKIP even semester with two study programs of mathematics education and Indonesian language and literature education, Asahan University, with a total sample of 96 students. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that the most widely used application as a learning tool during the Covid-19 pandemic was Whatsapp, with a total of 82 respondents, around 85.41%, and 52 respondents using google classroom and 4 respondents using google meet and 12 respondents choosing other applications. With student responses during online learning as a whole giving negative responses and suggestions, it can be seen from the questionnaire on the statements about student suggestions and responses from a sample of 96 students that 36.45% of students chose "disagree" and 44.79% of students chose "quite agree" and 17.70% chose "agree" and 1.041% only 1 student who chose "strongly agree”. Keywords: online learning, college student, aplicatio

    CONSUMER CHARACTERISTICS ASSOCIATED WITH FOOD PRICES

    To keep up with the recent trends in consumer demand for food products, an understanding of the associated customer characteristics is needed. This study identifies significant characteristics and factors of households who are likely to purchase basic household food when prices are high. The analysis was performed using logit model. The results of the study imply that the following households are more likely to purchase foods when prices are high: those with large sizes of land for farming and for home garden, those who frequently purchase the basic food stuffs, those who receive some advice on prices of food, and those with large household sizes.     Climate change and adaptation of small-scale cattle and sheep farmers

    The main objective of this study was to investigate the factors that affected the decision of small-scale farmers who kept cattle and sheep on whether to adapt or not to climate changes. The Binary Logistic Regression model was used to investigate farmers’ decision. The results implied that a large number of socio-economic variables affected the decision of farmers on adaptation to climate changes.     CLIMATE CHANGE AWARENESS AND DECISION ON ADAPTATION MEASURES BY LIVESTOCK FARMERS

    This paper investigated the extent of awareness of climate change by livestock farmers in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa. It further explored the choice of adaptation measures that were followed and factors that affected adaption measures. The results indicated that marital status, level of education, formal extension, temperatures and the way in which land was acquired, significantly affected awareness of climate change. Variables that significantly affected adaptation selections were gender, formal extension, information received about climate change, temperatures and 2 the way in which land was acquired.     PERBEDAAN KREATIVITAS PRAKTEK MENGAJAR MAHASISWA DALAM PEMANFAATAN LABORATORIUM MICROTEACHING FKIP UNIVERSITAS ASAHAN

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan kreativitas praktek mengajar mahasiwa secara signifikan dengan memanfaatkan laboratorium microteaching pada mahasiswa semester VI di Fakultas Keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan Universitas Asahan, Kisaran. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester VI Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester VI pada Program studi Bahasa Indonesia dan Matematika. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian quasi experiment (eksperimen semu). Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis kovarians (Anakova). Hasil utama dari penelitian ini adalah secara keseluruhan mahasiswa pada program studi matematika yang pembelajarannya dengan memanfaatkan laboratorium microteachng secara signifikan lebih baik dalam meningkatkan kreativitas dalam praktik mengajarnya dibandingkan mahasiswa program studi bahasa dan sastra. Secara deskriptif juga dikaji jawaban dari rumusan masalah yaitu: secara klasikal tingkat kemampuan kreativitas pada program studi bahasa dan sastra hanya sebesar 3,125%, sedangkan pada program studi matematika sebesar 84,375%. Tingkat kemampuan kreativitas mahasiswa Prodi matematika rata-ratanya adalah 72,15 sedangkan tingkat kemampuan kreativitas mahasiswa program studi bahasa dan sastra rata-ratanya adalah 46,34.Kata kunci: Kreativitas, Matematika, Bahasa dan Sastra, Laboratorium Microteaching

    PERBEDAAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KREATIF MELALUI GUIDED INQURY LEARNING DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN SOFTWARE POWTOON BERBASIS ETNOMATEMATIKA

    The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the creative thinking abilities of class VIII students of Hessa Air Genting Private Middle School Islamiyah T.A 2022/2023 who were taught through the Guided Inquiry model compared to those taught through the Guided Inquiry model using Ethnomatematics-based Powtoon Software. This research is a quasi-experimental research with pretest-posttest research design. The population in this study were all class VIII students of Hessa Air Genting Private Middle School Islamiyah. Two classes were randomly selected to be used as research samples. Class VIII-1 as the experimental class I was taught by applying the Guided Inquiry learning model while class VIII-2 as the experimental class II was taught by the Guided Inquiry learning model using the Ethnomatematics-based Powtoon Software. The data obtained in this study were scores of students' creative thinking skills which were analyzed by t-test. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that the creative thinking skills of students who are taught using the Guided Inquiry learning model using Ethnomatematics-based Powtoon Software are higher than the creative thinking abilities of students who are taught using Guided Inquiry learning.Keywords: Guided Inquiry Learning, Software Powtoon, Student Creative Thinking Ability

    Tujuan dari penenlitian Analisis deskriptif pada penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengkaji persepsi mahasiswa Pendidikan Matematika mengenai pembelajaran daring terkait pemanfaatan Aplikasi yang digunakan, kelebihan dan kekurangan serta respon tertentu yang digemari mahasiswa untuk membantu mereka menghasilkan output yang lebih baik dari kegiatan belajar mengajar secara daring selama masa covid-19.populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa program studi (prodi) pendidikan matematika semester genap, dan sampel yang daiambil sebanyak 58 mahasiswa pada prodi pendidikan matematika. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan angket melalui Googleform serta wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari sampel yang diukur mahasiswa lebih banyak menggunakan pembelajaran daring menggunakan aplikasi whatsapp sebanyak 49 responden dan menggunakan google classroom sebanyak 35 responden dan pada aplikasi lainnya sebanyak 12 responden 4 responden pada zoom dan 3 responden pada google meet. Dengan respon mahasiswa pada pernyataan “Pembelajaran daring membuat proses perkuliahan lebih terorganisir” menunjukkan bahwa yang menyatakan tidak setuju sebnyak 48% dan yang menyatakan “Cukup setuju” sebnyak 36%,dll. dengan temuan saran dari beberapa mahasiswa yang menyatakan perlunya dilakukan evalusi bersama baik dosen atau mahasiswa dalam memilih aplikasi dan memanfaatkannya sebagai sarana pembelajaran. Kata Kunci:   persepsi mahasiswa, aplikasi,  pendidikan matematik
