Mediation is an alternative solution for a case that has been developing in the society. Mediation is seen as an effective and correct in solving a divorce case within the Shari'ah Court. The challenge faced by this method is the existing of mileage parties involved, judges who are too young  (inexperienced), understand only in the local language, influence from the third party, lack of mediation skills, limited room for mediation to take place, overwhelming number of divorce cases to be handled, limited time for mediation as we as a compulsion to abide to the the procedure

Determinants of Financial Literacy on Micro Waqf Banks in Aceh

In comparison to the conventional financial literacy index, the Islamic financial literacy index in Aceh remains relatively low at 18.64%. The presence of micro Waqf banks in Aceh is intended to be beneficial to both urban and rural communities. This study investigates the factors that influence the public's preference for Micro-Wakaf Bank in Aceh. To collect data, a questionnaire was administered to 100 respondents throughout Aceh. This study utilizes the variables literacy index, preference, religiosity, and business motivation. To investigate these variables, a quantitative approach with multiple regression analysis techniques is employed. The results indicate that preference, religiosity, and business motivation have positive and statistically significant effects on Islamic financial literacy. Despite 52 percent Islamic financial literacy for micro waqf banks and the role of micro-waqf banks in expanding micro-scale businesses, the public preference for micro waqf banks remains low compared to Islamic banks. Because the practical implications of this research will have an impact on micro-waqf banks, as literacy numbers increased, the public will be more likely to choose micro-waqf banks for their business ventures.==================================================================================================== ABSTRAK – Determinan Literasi Keuangan terhadap Bank Wakaf Mikro di Aceh. Indeks literasi keuangan Syariah di aceh masih tergolong rendah sekitar 18,64% dibandingkan dengan indeks literasi keuangan konvensional. Hadirnya bank wakaf mikro di Aceh berupaya untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat urban dan pedesaan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat masyarakat Aceh dalam memanfaatkan bank wakaf mikro terhadap pemodalan usaha. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis regresi berganda. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terhadap 100 responden yang tersebar di seluruh Aceh. Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah indeks literasi, preferensi, religiusitas dan motivasi usaha. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel preferensi berpegaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap indeks literasi keuangan syariah. Preferensi public terhadap bank wakaf mikro masih rendah dibandingkan dengan bank syariah, namun literasi keuangan syariah terhadap bank wakaf mikro sebesar 52% dan membantu peningkatan bisnis berskala mikro di dalam masyarakat. Oleh karenanya, hasil kajian ini berimplikasi bagi bank wakaf mikro dalam kepercayaan publik, dimana semakin tinggi tingkat literasi, semakin besar minat publik dalam memilih lembaga bank wakaf mikro dalam pemodalan usaha mereka

Keadilan Gender Pekerja Pada Usaha Komoditi Kopi Arabika Gayo di Kabupaten Bener Meriah

Gender equality represents gender justice in various household activities, both in domestic and public spheres. The current issues are highly crucial and require special attention to enhance gender justice, as a means to improve women’s well-being. Gender justice is also observed in the realm of the coffe commodity busness concerning the employment of women in these units. The objective of this research is to analyze gender justice among workers in coffee commodity businesses in Bener Meriah District. The theoretical framework employed in this study is feminist theory, as it provides the analytical tools to examine gender discrimination using various sub-theoritical approaches. The reserch methodology is qualitative with a constructivist paradigm. Qualitative data analysis involves a descriptive analysis of earch gender issue prevalent in society. The results of this reserch addres four noteworthy gender issue: (1) Women’s roles in the public sphere concerning the coffee commodity business are still limited; (2) Many women workers continue to engage in voluntary, unpaid labor, as it has become a tradition for women to work in their own gardens and assist their husbands: (3) Women still uphold local wisdom and values prevalent in the community, such as engaging in rotational collective work during the coffee harvest; (4) Male dominance is observed in coffee shop employment, which may indicate an unequal absorption of female labor compared to male labor, or it might be attributed to a tradition rooted in the local community’s values and wisdom

Peran Peghulu Dalam Penyelesaian Perkara Perceraian (Studi Kasus Pada KUA Kabupaten Aceh Barat dan Kabupaten Nagan Raya)

This article aims to analyze the role of the wedding officiant in resolving divorce cases in West Aceh and Nagan Raya districts. The wedding officiant is part of the one who resolves divorce cases in society. The wedding officiant plays a very important role in providing guidance and direction as well as forming a harmonious family by providing counseling, training and making periodic socialization programs or activities to the society to reduce the rate of divorce. The results of this study indicate that the role of the the wedding officiant is very important in an effort to provide guidance and solutions for the family who want to divorce. The wedding officiant went straight down to the community to minimize divorce numbers by providing guidance and a way out of family problems.Artikel ini bertujuan menganalisa peran penghulu dalam penyelesaian perkara perceraian di Kabupaten Nagan Raya dan kabupaten Aceh Barat. Penghulu merupakan bagian dari salah satu yang menyelesaikan perkara perceraian  dalam msyarakat.  Penghulu sangat berperan dalam memberi bimbingan dan arahan serta membentuk sebuah keluarga yang harmonis dengan memberikan penyeluhan, mengadakan pembinaan dan membuat program atau kegiatan sosialisasi secara berskala kepada masyarakat dan terus menerus untuk mengurangi angka terjadinya perceraian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peran penghulu sangat penting dalam upaya memberikan bimbingan dan solusi bagi para pihak dalam keluarga yang hendak melakukan perceraian atau talak. Penghulu turun langsung ke masyarakat untuk meminimalisir angka perceraian dengan cara membaerikan bimbingan dan jalan keluar bagi permasalahan keluarga

Penerapan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu di Kantor Urusan Agama Kecamatan Meureubo Kabupaten Aceh Barat

This research was conducted at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) of Meureubo Subdistrict in Meulaboh City. The aim of this study is to determine how the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) is implemented at the KUA of Meureubo Subdistrict and the obstacles perceived by the community in carrying out administrative processes at the PTSP of KUA Meureubo Subdistrict. This journal employs observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. The purpose of establishing the implementation of the One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) is essentially to simplify both licensing and non-licensing bureaucratic services. This field research utilizes a qualitative approach and conducts on-site observations to gather respondent feedback. Descriptive qualitative methods are employed in this research. The results indicate that the One-Stop Integrated Service implemented at the Office of Religious Affairs in Meureubo Subdistrict has not yet reached an optimal level, as the community still faces several obstacles in receiving services at the PTSP of KUA Meureubo Subdistrict, and some indicators are not functioning properly.
