Time Synthesis in Organization of Sensorimotor Action

Time synthesis of sensorimotor action is reviewed as a process of a coherence setting action duration (expected duration), time sequence of required operations and significant changes in conditions. Aim: to experimentally set up the connection of time synthesis success and efficiency of realization sensorimotor action in changeable conditions. Hypothesis: successful time synthesis of the setting duration and the temporal sequence of operations in the mental organization of sensorimotor action in changing conditions is realized in accordance with the corresponding operational meaning and is allowed by anticipatory effects and an increase in the effectiveness of the action, materials and methods. An experimental study involved 152 male and female students. Participants of the investigation solved experimental tasks, implemented in a computer version, according to schemes of a simple visual-motor reaction and a choice reaction (separately and in combination), according to a scheme of sensorimotor action with a warning signal when the apperceptive scheme, setting duration and sequence of required operations were changed promptly. Results were reviewed in the aspect of disclosing the features of the subject's elimination of the uncertainty of the moment of achieving the goal in the future and the construction of a sequence of operations of sensorimotor actions in a connection with changes in external conditions, typical for the time deficit regime. The conditionality of the time synthesis of sensorimotor action by the actual operational meaning was established revealing that the successful temporal synthesis of sensorimotor action in changing conditions is associated with the fastest acceptance of an adequate apperceptive scheme, with effective anticipation of the moment of achieving the goal and the formation of a detailed setting duration of action, with the formation of a temporal sequence of required operations. Conclusions. The levels of success of the time synthesis of sensorimotor action in changing conditions are highlighted: “quite successful; moderately successful; unsuccessful.”</p

Anticipatory Resource of Temporary Regulation of Sensorimotor Action

The aim of the study is to determine the composition and functional significance of anticipatory resources in the process of temporal regulation of sensorimotor action.Materials and methods. The subjects were male (35 people) and female (31 people) students. The tasks of a simple sensory response, a choice reaction (three alternatives), and a “double choice” were implemented in a computer version of the experiment. In the “double choice” task, the stimulation variation was first provided (possible stimuli: one or three), and then a stimulus for a fast motor response was presented after some time, the orientation time (independent variable). Results. The participants’ initial reaction to the option with three alternative stimuli in the “double choice” task was negative. The time of the motor response falls linearly as the orientation time increases in both the male and female groups for the variant with one possible stimulus and the frequency of anticipatory effects and premature actions increases in a quadratic pattern. It must be noted that with enough orientation time, determining the expected duration of the sensorimotor action is quite straightforward. It was demonstrated that, in the presence of a margin of orientation time, operational estimates and revisions of the time required to accomplish an action dramatically improve the likelihood of anticipatory effects. Conclusions. Actualization of the anticipatory resource (which includes temporary memory standards, the ability to accurately determine and correlate the durations of processes and time intervals, time estimation skills, and individual characteristics that influence decision making) ensures the determination of the total duration of a sensorimotor action, prompt correction of its implementation, and a significant reduction in the time it takes to respond to a motor stimulus.</p

Leisure Management at the Educational Institutions of the Labour Reserves System During the Post-War Recovery of Ukraine (1945-1950)

The study is relevant due to considering of socio-cultural life arrangement positive and negative domestic experience at the current reformation of professional education in Ukraine. Purpose and methods. The aim of the article lies in the analysis of arrangement peculiarities of students’ leisure at professional schools in the period of the Post-war Recovery of Ukraine (1945-1950). The study used methods include general scientific (analysis, synthesis, induction, deduction, typology, abstraction) and special (problem-chronological, comparative, systematic, retrospective, hermeneutics and content-analysis elements) methods. Results. The research reveals that the extra-curricular activity and organized leisure time of students at labour reserves educational establishments, primarily, were additionally political-ideologically and military-physically oriented. It also used the principles of authoritative pedagogy. Conclusions. The scientific novelty of the research results is that for the first time the analysis, classification and characterization of specific types of students’ free time organization were made, as well as efficiency of the motivation and control means of leisure arrangement model was evaluated. The practical significance of the results is reflected in the presentation to modern educators and students of the leisure organization peculiarities in the post-war period, which has an important pedagogical and educational role and can be used in the preparation of specialists in the specialty “Management of Socio-Cultural Activities”

Numerical simulation of flow-induced acoustic oscillations around circular cylinders

Questions of numerical simulation of acoustic oscillations generation modes in the liquid flow around the groups of two and three circular cylinders are considered. In mining industry the processes of hydrodynamic impact on gas-saturated porous media produce significant acoustic emission both at the injection stage and at the liquid discharge stage. Simulation of such kind of acoustic processes is one of the actual problems of theoretical and applied fluid mechanics and under certain assumptions could be reduced to the flow around a group of bodies. Two approaches for numerical simulation of the acoustic oscillations generation induced by the flow around circular cylinders based on numerical solution of the Navier-Stokes equations for compressible and incompressible flows closed by differential model of turbulence and complemented by acoustic analogy equations have been developed. For laminar flows, eight different modes that fundamentally differ both in the flow structure and in the frequency spectrum of parameter oscillations have been identified. For turbulent flows, the classification criteria for the three main frequency modes are presented. Методика оцінки інноваційного потенціалу території в контексті національних економічних інтересів

Under the conditions of a gradual transition to the knowledge economy, the system of management of innovative development of territories is actualized in the context of the realization of their economic interests, which is the object of this study. The authors of this paper proceed from the fact that sustainable innovative development is possible subject to the activation of the innovative potential of the territory. This work solves the task of a comprehensive assessment of innovation potential from the standpoint of national economic interests. As a result of the study, a methodology for assessing the innovative potential of the region was proposed from the standpoint of ensuring the development of innovations, promoting the activity of innovation, guaranteeing its effectiveness and safety. The methodology differs from existing ones in that it takes into account such components as "innovative security" and "innovative support" of the territory. The methodology was verified using the example of economic regions. The influence of innovation potential on such indicators of realization of national economic interests as gross regional product and real disposable incomes of the population was revealed. Thus, the asymptotic significance of the ANOVA test in establishing the link between innovation potential and gross product is 0.005, and between innovation potential and income of the population – 0.00019. This testifies to the constancy of relations and confirms the hypothesis of the possibility to regulate the processes of realization of the national economic interests of the state through the impact on the innovative potential of its territories. The feature and advantage of the approach is a comprehensive assessment of the innovation potential and the ability to establish not only its condition but also the prospects for further activation. The results of the study can be useful for the system of state and regional management as they justify the directions of innovation policy formationВ умовах поступового переходу до економіки знань актуалізується система управління інноваційним розвитком територій в контексті реалізації їх економічних інтересів, що є об’єктом даного дослідження. Автори статті виходять з того, що сталий інноваційний розвиток можливий за умови активізації інноваційного потенціалу території. Стаття вирішує проблему комплексної оцінки інноваційного потенціалу з позиції національних економічних інтересів. В результаті проведеного дослідження запропоновано методику оцінки інноваційного потенціалу регіону з позицій забезпечення розвитку новацій, сприяння активності інноваційної діяльності, гарантування її ефективності та безпеки. Методика відрізняється від наявних тим, що враховує такі компоненти, як «інноваційна безпека» та «інноваційна підтримка» території. Апробацію методики здійснено на прикладі економічних регіонів. Також виявлено вплив інноваційного потенціалу на такі показники реалізації національних економічних інтересів, як валовий регіональний продукт та реальні наявні доходи населення. Так, асимптотична значимість проведеного тесту ANOVA при встановленні зв’язку між інноваційним потенціалом і валовим продуктом складає 0,005, а між інноваційним потенціалом і доходами населення – 0,00019. Це свідчить про сталість зв’язку і підтверджує гіпотезу про можливість регулювання процесів реалізації національних економічних інтересів держави через вплив на інноваційний потенціал її територій. Особливістю та перевагою підходу є всебічна оцінка інноваційного потенціалу та можливість встановити не тільки його стан, а й перспективи подальшої активізації. Результати дослідження можуть бути корисними для системи державного та регіонального менеджменту, оскільки обґрунтовують напрями формування інноваційної політик
