Acute flaccid paralysis (AFP) is a clinical syndrome characterized by rapid onset of weakness in a child aged less than 15 years due to any cause when polio is suspected(1). Exact cause of AFP with its incidence is needed for proper management

In the title compound, C11H17N2O+·Cl−, the dihedral angle between the benzene ring and the basal plane of piperazine ring is 39.20 (8)°. In the crystal, intermolecular N—H⋯Cl hydrogen bonds occur. There is also a C—H⋯π interaction between the benzene rings

The six-membered heterocycle in the title compound, C18H16BrN3O4S, adopts a sofa conformation. Intramolecular N—H⋯N and O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds stabilize the molecular conformation by forming a five- and a six-membered ring, respectively. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds

GBS is a post-infectious poly-neuropathy involving mainly motor but sometimes also sensory and autonomic nerves. This is an epidemiological report on seasonal & monthly distribution of GBS & differences in GBS incidence between male & female in Punjab, Pakistan. Objective: To determine the seasonal variation, age and gender differentiation in children with GBS along with EMG/NCS findings. Study Design: Retrospective, observational, cross sectional study. Place and duration of study: Department of Neurology, Childrens Hospital & The Institute of Child Health, Lahore from January 2014 to December 2014. METHODS: We extracted data from multi centers retrospectively in a 1 year period (January 2014- December 2014). In order to compare the frequency of GBS in different months & seasons we used the chi-square test. RESULTS: There was male predominance with 52.11% (n=37). Highest number of cases (70.4%) were found in age group (11-18 Years) (n=50). Seasonal (P=0.01) and monthly (P=0.02) variation among GBS was observed throughout the year with more prevalence in summer (49.29%) followed by spring (25.35%). Regional date of Punjab revealed highest number of cases 36.6% (n=26) in South Punjab followed by west Punjab 28.16% (n=20) CONCLUSION: Our study shows that there is significant monthly and seasonal variation in the admission rate of patients with GBS in Punjab

In the crystal structure of the title molecule, C13H15NO5S, the S and N atoms of the thiazine ring exihibit the maximum deviations from the least-squares plane of 0.3008 (6) and 0.3280 (7) Å, respectively. The ring therefore adopts a half chair conformation. The thiazine ring is twisted by an angle of 13.29 (7)° with respect to the aromatic ring. The isopropyl substituent is oriented at a dihedral angle of 53.2 (12)° with respect to the thiazine ring. An intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond occurs. Intermolecular hydrogen bonding is observed in the crystal structure

Present study explores employment brand in the contextof a multinational acquisition, particularly the implications foremployees who are currently working. Using a sample of threehundred from acquired telecom organization’s employees. Studyexamines identification predictors with the acquiring organization, discretionary effort and intention to leave. Author emphases onpredictors related to employment brand, particularly perceptionsrelated to the unique employment experiences provision, perceivedprestige, organizational identity strength, and perceptions ofwhether the acquiring organization acts with its corporate socialresponsibility claims. Findings suggest that perceptions ofcorporate social responsibility identity claims, perceivedorganizational prestige and organizational identity strength arepositively related to organizational identification and discretionaryeffort and negatively related to intention to leave. Surprisingly, unique employment experience is positively related toorganizational identification and negatively related to intention toleave but unrelated to discretionary effort. The elements ofemployment brand have varying effect on the outcomes underconsideration

In the title compound, C14H17NO5S, the thiazine ring adopts a half-chair conformation. The molecule exhibits an intramolecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bond, which forms a six-membered S(6) ring motif. The planes of the benzene and thiazine rings are inclined at a dihedral angle of 15.30 (12)°

In the title molecule, C9H10BrN3O2S, the thiazine ring has an envelope conformation with the S atom at the flap. The geometry around the S atom is distorted tetrahedral. In the crystal, inversion dimers linked by pairs of N—H⋯N hydrogen bonds occur, generating R 2 2(6) ring motifs. N—H⋯O hydrogen bonds and C—H⋯O interactions connect the dimers, forming a three-dimentional network structure
