    At present, a significant amount of energy spent for the work of mining machines and coal mining equipment on coal mines and open pits goes to the coal grinding in the process of its extraction in mining faces. Meanwhile, the increase of small fractions in mined coal does not only reduce the profitability of its production, but also causes a further negative impact on the environment and degrades labor conditions for miners. The countermeasure to the specified processes is possible with the help of coal mining equipment development. However, against the background of the technological decrease of coal mine equipment applied in Russia the negative impact on the environment is getting reinforced

    Рассмотрен когерентный канал передачи данных с псевдослучайной перестройкой рабочей частоты (ППРЧ), каскадным кодом на основе ансамбля ортогональных сигналов и кода Рида-Соломона, с различными алгоритмами приема-декодирования в условиях одновременного действия на канал двух помех – заградительной и сосредоточенной в части полосы ППРЧ. Получены оценки граничного значения части полосы ППРЧ, накрытой помехой, характеристики оптимального каскадного кода, а также выбран алгоритм приема-декодирования, при котором граничное значение части полосы, накрытой помехой, принимает максимальное значение в заданной помеховой обстановкеA coherent data transmission channel with pseudo-random tuning of the operating frequency (FH) is considered, a concatenated code based on an ensemble of orthogonal signals and a Reed-Solomon code, with various reception-decoding algorithms under conditions of simultaneous action on the channel of two interference – a barrage and a FH concentrated in a part of the band.     Thermal imaging study to determine the operational condition of a conveyor belt drive system structure

    The paper discusses the results of a study carried out to determine the thermal condition of a conveyor power unit using a thermal imaging camera. The tests covered conveyors in the main haulage system carrying coal from a longwall. The measurements were taken with a thermal imaging diagnostic method which measures infrared radiation emitted by an object. This technology provides a means of assessing the imminence and severity of a possible failure or damage. The method is a non-contact measuring technique and offers great advantages in an underground mine. The thermograms were analysed by comparing the temperature distribution. An analysis of the operating time of the conveyors was also carried out and the causes of the thermal condition were determined. The main purpose of the research was to detect changes in thermal state during the operation of a belt conveyor that could indicate failure and permit early maintenance and eliminate the chance of a fire. The article also discusses the construction and principle of operation of a thermal imaging camera. The findings obtained from the research analysis on determining the thermal condition of the conveyor drive unit are a valuable source of information for the mine's maintenance service.Web of Science1411art. no. 325

    A Generalized Technique for Studying the Information Properties of Channels and Recognition Systems

    В работе предложена обобщённая методика исследования информационных свойств каналов и систем распознавания, применимая для анализа комплексных систем распознавания. Применение методики показало, что при объединении разнородных каналов для распознавания эффективно использование не только прямой, но и косвенной информации о принадлежности объекта к классам в алфавите окончательных (общих) решений. Объединение каналов с основной и косвенной информацией увеличило количество получаемой информации на 10–40 %The paper proposes a generalized methodology for studying the information properties of channels and recognition systems, applicable to the analysis of complex recognition systems. The application of the technique showed that when combining heterogeneous channels for recognition, it is effective to use not only direct, but also indirect information about the object’s belonging to classes in the alphabet of final (general) solutions.     От тройной к пятеричной спирали: эволюция методологии развития инновационной экономики

    The presented paper deals with an approach to the evolution of methodology of economy innovative development from the standpoint of analyzing the interaction of its actors – from a Triple to a Penta Helix. The article proposes the provisions for such a methodology based on expanding the range of actors of innovative development as public interests shift from the emergence of a free enterprise economy to a socially oriented knowledge economy and further to a balanced and environmentally friendly production and consumption. A special role in the presented approach is given to the analysis of the place of universities in the fivefold spiral of innovative transformation of economy – as a creator of sustainable development values. The authors proved that the Penta Helixis the result of the evolution of the Quadruple Helix in the conditions of increasing the values of sustainable development. In turn, the core of the QuadrupleHelix– the Triple Helix– acts as the core in the Penta Helix. The article highlights three varieties of the TripleHelix model that is dominant today in industrialized countries, shows their connection with the peculiarities of the innovative development of the Russian economy. On this basis, it was concluded that the progress in building the Penta Helix of innovative development in Russia depends on the emergence of new actors – the subjects of the green economy and civil society, and the full expression of their economic interestsВ представленной статье рассматривается подход к эволюции методологии развития инновационной экономики с позиций анализа взаимодействия ее акторов – от тройной к пятеричной спирали. В статье предлагаются положения методологии, основанной на расширении круга акторов инновационного развития по мере смещения общественного интереса от становления экономики свободного предпринимательства к социально ориентированной экономике знаний и далее – к сбалансированному и экологически безопасному производству и потреблению. Особая роль в представленном подходе отводится анализу места университетов в пятеричной инновационной трансформации экономики – как создателей ценностей устойчивого развития. Авторы доказали, что пятеричная спираль является результатом эволюции четверной спирали инноваций в условиях повышения роли ценностей устойчивого развития. В свою очередь, ядро четверной спирали – тройная спираль – действует и как ядро пятеричной спирали. В статье выделены три разновидности модели тройной спирали, доминирующей сегодня в промышленно развитых странах, показана их связь с особенностями инновационного развития российской экономики. На этом основании сделан вывод, что прогресс в формировании пятеричной спирали инновационного развития в России зависит от появления новых акторов – субъектов зеленой экономики и гражданского общества, полноты выражения их экономических интересо
