Functioning of the French text in the ethnographic Siberian journals of V. A. Dolgorukov (end of the 19th - beginning of the 20th centuries)

    Get PDF
This article is dedicated to the neglected phenomenon of the use of French in Russian-language regional history journals published by V.A. Dolgorukov in the Siberian city of Tomsk. Such issues as the annual Putevoditel’ po Sibiri i Aziatskoi Rossii (“A Guide to Siberia and the Asian Part of Russia”), the monthly journals (Dorozhnik po Sibiri i Aziatskoi Rossii (“A Road Guide to Siberia and Asian Russia”), and Sibirskii nabliudatel’ (“The Siberian Observer”) are analyzed. They contained French texts, translations of Russian texts into French, and translations from French. The theme of the French sections is studied along with particularities of the translations. The principles of the usage of French in pre-revolutionary publications are analyzed

Decisive rule experimental studies to detect objects on the background of nhe earth surface using polarization differences of radar signals

The task of stationary and moving object detection against the background of the underlying surface (earth) by radar means becomes relevant. A decision rule is being developed to detect objects against the background of the earth surface using the polarization differences reflected from the earth and the objects of radar signals, represented as a measurement vecto

Creation of composite bronze-maraging steel alloy

The possibility is demonstrated of creating alloys based on the system Cu-Fe-Ni-Al, within which the matrix is bronze BrNA 4-1, "reinforced" with dendrites containing, apart from Fe and Cu, about 15% Ni and 1% Al. This dendrite composition provides dispersion hardening. Favorable dendrite morphology provides high deformability of these bronzes, and makes it possible to control mechanical and service properties by heat treatment over a wide range. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York

Influence of the microstructure dispersion on the tribological properties of composite bronzes reinforced with steel dendrites

The possibility of creating composite bronze reinforced with martensitic and austenitic-ferritic stainless steel dendrites is considered. Compared to BrSn10 bronze, widely used in sliding friction pairs, BrFe12Ni7Al, BrFe12Ni7Cr5Si bronzes have a high complex of mechanical, technological and particularly tribological properties. For similar values of the coefficient of friction, the wear resistance of bronze BrFe12Ni7Al is a higher order. Unlike the classic bronze BrSn10, composite bronzes can be obtained in hot deformed state, deposited on steel and cast iron. The level of mechanical properties: σ0.2 = 220 MPa; σВ = 295 MPa; ψ = 38% is 1.5 to 3 times higher than that of the BrSn10. At the laboratory level for the first time the possibility of creating an industrial variant of composite steel with a particularly high level of tribological properties is based. © 2019 Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions. The heating rate influence on the elastic modulus temperature dependence of a corrosion-resistant nickel alloy

The temperature dependence of the elastic modulus of nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy C4 was investigated by the method of dynamic mechanical analysis. At all heating rates, an abnormal increase in the elastic modulus is observed upon heating in the temperature range of 200-300 °C. It is shown that an increase in the heating rate shifts the beginning of the observed effect to the region of higher temperatures. The temperature anomaly in the elastic modulus of the C4 alloy is explained from the standpoint of the formation of a short-range order in a solid solution. The thermodynamically equilibrium temperature of the "disorder - short-range order" transition in C4 alloy is determined to be 205 °C. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd

Identification of the second phases formed in VDM® alloy C-4

The electrochemical extraction of the second phase in the VDM® alloy C-4 alloy has been studied by transmission and scanning microscopy, as well as by X-ray phase analysis. It was found that annealing, which consists in heating up to 850 ℃ with further holding for 32 hours and cooling in a furnace, leads to the precipitation of a second phase in VDM® alloy C-4 alloy. It can lead to embrittlement and a general decrease in the corrosion resistance of the alloy. The precipitation of the anode deposit (the second phase in the samples of the VDM® alloy C-4 alloy after annealing) and its identification was carried out by the methods indicated above. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. The effect of the selective laser melting mode on second phases precipitation in 316L steel during subsequent heat treatment

The object of the study was 316L steel obtained by the method of selective laser melting (SLM). The structure of 316L steel was investigated after different SLM modes. The effect of different SLM modes on the second phases precipitation after heat treatment was studied. It is revealed that the fraction of precipitates of the χ-phase correlates with the energy density of the laser beam during SLM. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved
