    Research on the Impact of Business Strategy on Knowledge-transfer Merger and Acquisition with Innovation Level as the Mediator Variable

    Based on the knowledge-transfer M&A data of listed companies from 2011 to 2016 in China, this paper use logistic regression and multiple linear regression to construct a mediating effect model to determine whether business strategy is associated with knowledge-transfer M&A by taking innovation level as a mediator variable. After processing data of prospectors and defenders through strategic scoring, this paper applies logistic regression to examine the impact of Business Strategy on knowledge-transfer M&A,and applies multiple linear regression to examine the impact of Business Strategy on innovation level and the impact of knowledge-transfer M&A on innovation level. From data analysis, this paper concludes that Prospectors are more likely to conduct knowledge-transfer M&A and these companies are more likely to get a higher innovation level. Besides, the Business Strategy exerts influence on knowledge-transfer M&A by innovation level

    The COVID-19 (2019 novel Coronavirus) is the most widespread pandemic infectious disease encountered in human history. Its economic losses and the number of countries involved rank first in the history of human viruses. After the outbreak, researchers in the field of medicine quickly carried out scientific research on the virus. Through a visual analysis of relevant scientific research papers from January 1st to April 1st, 2020, we can grasp the worldwide scientific research cooperation situation of 2019-nCoV research and reflect the international collaboration in combating the pandemic. To this end, 415 papers indexed in Thomson Reuters’s Web of Science were studied to provide a visualized description of scientific collaborations across the world by multiple levels, including author level, journal level, institution level and country level

    The term "Scientometrics" was coined in 1969 by scholars from the former Soviet Union. After decades of growth, the international field of scientometrics has become increasingly mature. This research examines the growth of the Scientometrics journal, measured by annual publication number and growth, annual citation frequency, annual growth of citation frequency by applying correlation analysis and regression analysis, in an attempt to model the literature growth of the journal. By considering internationally important events in the field of scientometrics since 1978, the growth of the discipline is divided into three stages. Each stage is further analyzed using regression analysis to trace the literature growth.     Advances in the Construction of Quality Evaluation System for General Practice Faculty

    Ensuring the quality of general practice faculty is not only an important basis for training qualified general practitioners, but also relates to the relationship between general practice and other professional disciplines, which is an important guarantee for improving the status of general practice and promoting the development of general practice. This article summarizes the roles and functions, admission standards, quality evaluation standards, and certification standards of general practice faculty by reviewing the websites and literature related to the training of general practitioners and general practice teachers at home and abroad, and prospects the quality evaluation and certification indicator system for general practice teachers in our country in the future, suggests that a quality evaluation and certification indicator system for general practice teachers should be constructed and adapted to national conditions in China, an authoritative professional committee for general practice teachers should be established, the standards for the admission, evaluation and assessment of general practice teachers should be formulated, and a systematic and complete management system for the training of general practice teachers should be established. This paper also suggests to select 1 or 2 excellent general practice faculty training bases in each province, to establish a relatively fixed and high-quality team of general practice faculty, which can provide a useful reference for the continuous quality improvement of general practice faculty training in China

    MicroRNA-218-5p inhibits cell growth and metastasis in cervical cancer via LYN/NF-κB signaling pathway

    Abstract Background We are committed to investigate miR-218-5 effects on the progression of cervical cancer (CC) cell and find out the molecular mechanism. Methods GSE9750 was obtained from GEO database and R Limma package was applied to filter out dysregulated genes. The pathways were enriched by GSEA software, ClusterProfiler and enrichplot packages to predict the function of DEGs. The binding sites of LYN were detected by miRanda and TargetScan. The miR2Disease database was used to find miRNAs related with CC. The expression of miR-218-5p and LYN were quantified by qRT-PCR and that of LYN protein was measured by western blot. The targeted relationships between miR-218-5p and LYN were verified by dual-luciferase reporter assay. Colony formation assays, wound healing, transwell invasion assay and flow cytometer analysis were performed to investigate the roles that miR-218-5p and LYN played in migration, invasion and death of cervical carcinoma. Xenografts established in nude mice were used to assess tumor growth in vivo. Results The highly expressed mRNA LYN was selected by microarray analysis in GSE9750. NF-κB signaling pathway was enriched base on GSEA results. The expression of miR-218-5p was lower but LYN was higher in CC primary tumors compared with normal control. In addition, miR-218-5p could regulate the expression of LYN in HeLa cells negatively. Overexpression of LYN could promote cell migration and invasion, but inhibit cell death in vitro, and also promote tumor formation in vivo via activating NF-κB signaling pathway which could be reversed by miR-218-5p. Conclusions MiR-218-5p suppressed the progression of CC via LYN/NF-κB signaling pathway

    Reproductive toxicity and underlying mechanisms of fine particulate matter (PM2.5) on Caenorhabditis elegans in different seasons

    Although numerous studies have investigated that atmospheric fine particulate matter (PM2.5) can be toxic to environmental organisms, the research on the reproductive toxicity of PM2.5 is limited, and the key toxic components and underlying mechanisms remain unknown. In this work, PM2.5 samples of four seasons in Nanjing from March 1, 2021, to February 28, 2022 were collected and the chemical components were analyzed. Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) was employed to conduct the toxicological testing. The reproductive toxicity of PM2.5 to C. elegans in different seasons was evaluated by multiple reproductive endpoints. Exposure to high concentrations of PM2.5 significantly decreased the brood size and the number of fertilized eggs in utero. PM2.5 exposure also increased the number of germ cell corpses and caused abnormal expression of apoptosis-related genes (ced-9, ced-4, and ced-3), which confirmed that PM2.5 induced germline apoptosis. In addition, PM2.5 exposure significantly increased the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) in C. elegans and the fluorescence intensity of HUS-1 protein in of transgenic strain WS1433. Meanwhile, the expression of genes related to DNA damage (cep-1, clk-2, egl-1, and hus-1) and oxidative stress (mev-1, isp-1, and gas-1) also significantly altered in C. elegans, suggesting induction of DNA damage and oxidative stress. According to Pearson correlation analyses, DNA damage and oxidative stress were significantly correlated with multiple reproductive endpoints in C. elegans. Thus, it was speculated that PM2.5 caused reproductive dysfunction and germ cell apoptosis in C. elegans may be by inducing ROS and DNA damage. In addition, heavy metals in PM2.5 were significantly correlated with multiple endpoints at physiological and biochemical, suggesting that the heavy metals might be an important contributor to the reproductive toxicity induced by PM2.5

    Multimodal theranostic nanomaterials derived from phthalocyanine-based organic salt

    © The Royal Society of Chemistry. Emerging concepts of theranostics have led to the development of numerous multifunctional nanomaterials using various synthetic approaches. Herein, we report a simplistic approach towards the design of iron(iii) phthalocyanine based pH responsive-magnetic-fluorescent nanoparticles for combined multimodal diagnosis and possible site selective therapy. Transmission electron micrographs (TEM) revealed distinct spherical (∼25-35 nm) nanoparticles, constituting a significantly stable nanodispersion which resulted from an appreciably high positive zeta potential (+21 mV) at pH 7.4. A transition in magnetic behavior of these nanoparticles (diamagnetism in bulk, paramagnetism in nanoparticles at room temperature and superparamagnetism at 200 K), in combination with acidic pH responsive loss of spherical shape, pH responsive release of chemotherapeutic agents in vitro, and confocal fluorescence microscopic images suggest potential utility of these materials as multimodal theranostic agents. A novel approach to the design of multifunctional theranostic devices, as demonstrated in this study, represents an important development in this area of scientific research
