Linguistics competences have a fundamental importance in the information society and a relevant impact on the academic learning. This article focuses on the obtained results of the Includ-ED project framework, Strategies for inclusion and social cohesion from education (VI Framework Programme of the European Commission) related to successful practices in education and in the learning process of languages. From the analysis of the scientific literature and from studies carried out in centres of different educational levels, practices which favoured the learning of languages of students considered part of vulnerable groups, have been identified
KUALITAS PELAYANAN PUBLIK PADA KANTOR CAMAT TABIR ULU KABUPATEN MERANGIN
The delivery of public services is an attempt by the State to fulfill the basic needs and civil rights of every citizen of the goods, services, and administrative services provided by the public service providers. This study aims to determine how the quality of public service in subdistrict office tabir ulu merangin regency. Method This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Research data collection techniques by observation, interview and document review with informants totaling seven people. The results showed that the quality of public services in the Tabir Ulu Sub-District Office has not been well implemented overall, judging by the five dimensions of quality of public services, which are tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Tangible, the waiting room is not yet equipped with air conditioning such as air conditioning, so that people do not feel comfortable in the waiting room. Reliability, the speed of employees in administrative management has been classified as good, seen from the ability and expertise in the use of technology in the office as a tool in the process of serving the community. Responsiveness, in serving the community, cannot yet be fully felt by the community, because officers in performing services are not in accordance with the right time and there are still some complaints from the community that cannot be responded quickly. Guarantees, there are still services that have not been guaranteed to be completed within the allotted time. Empathy, special treatment is still found for people who have kinship relations.Penyelenggaraan pelayanan publik merupakan upaya Negara untuk memenuhi kebutuhan dasar dan hak-hak sipil setiap warga Negara atas barang, jasa, dan pelayanan administrasi yang disediakan oleh penyelenggara pelayanan publik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pelayanan publik pada kantor Camat Tabir Ulu Kabupaten Merangin. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian dengan observasi, wawancara dan telaah dokumen dengan informan berjumlah tujuh orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan publik pada Kantor Camat Tabir Ulu belum terlaksana dengan baik secara keseluruhan, dilihat dari lima dimensi kualitas pelayanan publik yaitu berwujud, kehandalan, ketanggapan, jaminan, dan empati. Berwujud, ruang tunggu yang belum dilengkapi dengan pendingin ruangan seperti AC, sehingga masyarakat belum merasa nyaman diruang tunggu. Kehandalan, kecepatan pegawai dalam pengurusan administrasi sudah tergolong baik, terlihat dari kemampun dan keahlian dalam penggunaan teknologi yang ada di kantor sebagai alat bantu dalam proses melayani masyarakat. Ketanggapan, dalam melayani masyarakat belum dapat dirasakan sepenuhnya oleh masyarakat, karena petugas dalam melakukan pelayanan belum sesuai dengan waktu yang tepat dan masih ada beberapa keluhan masyarakat yang belum dapat direspon dengan cepat. Jaminan, masih ditemukan pelayanan yang belum terjamin selesai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Empati, masih ditemukan perlakuan istimewa kepada masyarakat yang ada hubungan kekerabatan
Population dynamics of common thrips in marigold crop
Damages produced by the pest insects can be very big, thus care must be taken about some aspects
concerning the incidence in samples, dynamics and evolution of one of the most important insect pests of the
flowers, such as Thysanoptera. Due to the relatively high incidence of Thrips tabaci in the samples collected
from the experimental field of marigold, the species presented a real economic importance. To obtain a high
production and superior quality it was necessary to choose the best moment for treatments by applying in
function of population dynamics of those pests. In case of population dynamics of adults and larva of Thrips
tabaci from the crop of Calendula officinalis L., the maximal values in all local populations taken in study
were in increase in the second decade of June, and reached the maximum level in the third decade of June. It
was followed by an obvious decrease in July - their number started to decrease to the end of the collecting
period, until the second decade of August, thanks to the end of vegetation period of the flowers. In function
of population dynamics, the best time for applying treatments in the crop flowers was during the period
