Agricultural Tourism in Zlín Region

Import 29/09/2010Práce se zabývá problematikou agroturistiky a agroturistického podnikání ve Zlínském kraji. Cílem práce je posoudit současný stav agroturistiky a zamyslet se nad dalším rozvojem agroturistiky v budoucnu. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. v teoretické části je charakterizován pojem zelený cestovní ruch, agroturistika, hipoturistika a také jsou zde uvedeny základní zásady a pomoci při podnikání v agroturistice. Další část je zaměřena na hipoturistiku, která se v současné době ve Zlínském kraji velmi rychle rozvijí. Pomocí dotazníků byl zjišťován současný stav subjektů, které hipoturistiku provozují a také problémy se kterými se potýkají. V této části je uvedena i SWOT analýza se silnými a slabými stránkami podnikání v hipoturistice. V závěru jsou charakterizovány dva subjekty ze Zlínského kraje provozující hipoturistiku, které jsem vybrala tak, aby byli navzájem odlišné, a které jsem také měla možnost navštívit. Protože agroturistika je odvětvím, které se u nás teprve rozvijí, snažila jsem se nalézt řešení problémů se kterými se subjekty potýkají a také doporučení, které by pomohlo rozvoj agroturistiky urychlit. Informace jsem čerpala především z literatury zaměřené na agroturistiku a také z oficiálních stránek subjektů, které se agroturistikou zabývají.The work deals with problems of agrotourism and agrotourism business in Zlín Region. The goal of work is assess the surrent situation of agrotourism and try to think about further development of agri-tourism in the future. The work has two chapters. In the theoretical part is charakterized by the term Green tourism, agrotourism, horseback riding and are listed here basic principles and assistance in doing budiness in agrotourism. Another part is focused on horseback riding whitch is currently very rapidly. Using questionnaires investigated the current state of the bodies that offer horseback riding and problems that troubling. In this part there is a SWOT analysis with strong and weak parties business in horseback riding. In conclucion are characterized two bodies in Zlín Region that offer horseback riding and that I chose so as to be each other different and I had the opportunity to visit. Because agrotourism is industry that only develops, I tried to find Troubleshooting that worry and recommendations for faster development of agri-tourism. I drew especially from the literature focusing on agrotourism and also from the oficial webside subjects whitch deal with agrotourism.115 - Katedra managementuvýborn

Analysis of Employee Appraisal System in a Selected Organization

Import 02/11/2016Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na analýzu systému hodnocení zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části, a to na teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní charakteristiky související s hodnocením pracovníků. V úvodu praktické části je věnován prostor představení Československé obchodní banky, která je dále zkoumána prostřednictvím analýzy interních dokumentů a dotazníkového šetření, které bylo provedeno v ČSOB v oblasti pobočkové sítě mikroregionů Vsetín, Zlín a Uherské Hradiště. V rámci dotazníkového šetření byly vypracovány 2 dotazníky, a to pro hodnocené a hodnotitele. V rámci této části jsou dále uvedeny návrhy a doporučení, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení hodnotícího systému. Cílem práce je analýza současného systému hodnocení zaměstnanců v Československé obchodní bance v oblasti pobočkové sítě v mikroreegionech Vsetín, Zlín a Uherské Hradiště a následné navrhnutí doporučení, která by mohla vést ke zlepšení.This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of employee appraisal system in selected organization. This work is divided into a theoretical and a practical parts. In the theoretical one, there are explanations of basics for employee evaluation system. The introduction of practical part is devoted to presentation of the Czechoslovak trade bank which is subsequently examined through the analysis of internal documents and questionnaires, which have been conducted in ČSOB in a retail branch network in micro regions Vsetín, Zlín and Uherské Hradiště. There were the questionnaire for evaluate employee and the questionnaire for evaluator. There are also listed suggestions and recommendations, which could lead to improve the quality of evaluation system. The main target of this thesis is an analysis of the current system of employee evaluation in the Czechoslovak trade bank in the retail branch network in micro regions Vsetín, Zlín and Uherské Hradiště and a consequent suggestions, which may lead to the improvement.115 - Katedra managementuvelmi dobř

Patent Protection in the European Union

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na rozbor patentové ochrany na úrovni Evropské unie. Hlavním cílem práce je poskytnout komplexní přehled o dosavadní evropské patentové ochraně a budoucí jednotné patentové ochraně na úrovni Evropské unie a na základě zjištěných poznatků objasnit možné dopady zavedení jednotné patentové ochrany se zaměřením na Českou republiku. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny zdroje evropského patentového práva se zaměřením na Evropskou patentovou úmluvu a charakterizován Evropský patentový úřad spolu s evropskou patentovou přihláškou. Další části práce jsou stěžejním bodem, neboť je v nich charakterizován právní rámec jednotné patentové ochrany. Teoretická část je doplněna o praktické poznatky s ohledem na aktuální situaci. V praktické části jsou analyzovány právní a ekonomické dopady zavedení jednotné patentové ochrany se zaměřením na Českou republiku. Důležitou částí je komparace Dohody o Jednotném patentovém soudu s ústavním pořádkem České republiky. V závěru z výsledků vyplývá, že bude nutné provést řadu legislativních změn, a to i na úrovni ústavních zákonů. Z ekonomického hlediska jednotná patentová ochrana ovlivní státní rozpočet a rozdílný vliv bude mít na velké společnosti a malé a střední podniky.This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of patent protection at the European Union level. The main aim is to provide comprehensive overview of current European patent protection and future unitary patent protection at the European Union level and based on the findings to clarify possible impacts of the introduction of unitary patent protection in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the sources of European patent law and characterizes the European Patent Office together with the European patent application. Other parts of the thesis are a key point, because they define the legal framework of unitary patent protection. The theoretical part is supplemented by practical knowledge according to the current situation. In the practical part of the thesis, an analysis of the legal and economic impacts of the introduction of unitary patent protection in the Czech Republic was provided. The comparison of the Agreement on the Unified Patent Court with the constitutional order of the Czech Republic is another important section in the practical part of the thesis. In the conclusion, the results show that a number of legislative changes will be necessary, even at the level of constitutional laws. From the economic point of view, unitary patent protection will affect the state budget and will have different effects on large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises.119 - Katedra právavýborn

The association between age at first calving and survival of first lactation heifers within dairy herds

The objective of this research was to evaluate the survival rate of primiparous heifers within a large sample of herds across the UK and specifically to assess the association between age at first calving (AFC) on their survival. Data from 437 herds was re-structured for analysis. Descriptive statistics were calculated, and a multilevel logistic regression model used to explore factors associated with the risk of first lactation culling. Potential explanatory variables included AFC, herd size, culling rate within the whole herd, calving season, herd mean 305d yield and herd mean calving interval. The mean within-herd culling rate for the primiparous heifers was 15.9%. The mean within-herd AFC was 29.6 months, with 35.9% of heifers having an AFC greater than 30 months of age. Multivariable analysis revealed a negative association between survival rate of primiparous heifers and increasing AFC, and also associations with herd culling rate in older cows and calving season. This study highlights the importance of AFC for survival of primiparous heifers, as well the need to address heifer wastage in herds with high culling rates

Mathematical modeling of flow in the unsaturated zone

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na numerické řešení Richardsovy rovnice metodou vnějších a vnitřních iterací a poté na konvergenční analýzou této metody. V první kapitole je Richardsova rovnice odvozena z Darcyho zákona a zákona zachování hmoty. Druhá kapitola se zabývá popisem samotné metody vnějších a vnitřních iterací, jejího algoritmu. Algoritmus je implementován pomocí jazyka C++. Algoritmus je testován na problémech převzatých z literatury. Dále je provedena experimentální konvergenční analýza, porovnání s Newtonovou metodou, studie vlivu velikosti časového kroku na konvergenci nelineárního řešiče.The bachelor project focuses on the numerical solution of the Richards' equation using the method of outer and inner iterations, followed by an analysis of the convergence of this method. In the first chapter, the Richards' equation is derived from Darcy's law and the conservation of mass. The second chapter describes the method of outer and inner iterations and its algorithm. The algorithm is implemented using the C++. The algorithm is tested on problems taken over from the literature. Furthermore, an experimental convergence analysis is performed, along with a comparison to the Newton's method, a study of the influence of the time step size on the convergence of nonlinear solution

V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny základní charakteristiky související s problematikou motivace. V praktické části je představena Československá obchodní banka, její současný motivační systém a následné vyhodnocení dotazníkové šetření, které bylo provedeno v ČSOB v oblasti pobočkové sítě ve Zlínském kraji a pobočky Vyškov. Také jsou zde uvedeny návrhy a doporučení, které by mohly vést ke zlepšení motivace zaměstnanců ve vybrané organizaci. Green coenobial algae of the family Hydrodictyaceae, their phenotypic plasticity and use in ecology and paleoecology

Algae of the family Hydrodictyaceae attract our attention because of their unusual appearance. They belong to the order Sphaeropleales in the class Chlorophyceae. This family includes the coenobial algae, traditionally classified into the genus Pediastrum, which has recently been split into multiple genera based on the phylogenetic analyses. They are typically found in eutrophicated rivers, lakes and ponds. They form characteristic oval-shaped coenobia that may resemble tiny stars in their appearance. Their shape and size may be influenced by environmental factors such as pH or nutrients. Geometric morphometrics can also be helpful in detecting morphological variation or in refining the phylogenetic tree. The outer layer of the cell wall contains the polymer algaenan. Since algaenan is acid resistent, the cell wall remnants are preserved in the sediment. These cell wall remnants are found mainly in Tertiary freshwater sediments and their occurrence serves mainly as an indicator of eutrophicated conditions, for example in the context of anthropogenic eutrophication of lakes. The cell wall remnants could also be used for palaeolimnologic reconstruction. Čeleď Hydrodictyaceae patří do řádu Sphaeropleales ve třídě Chlorophyceae. Do této čeledi se řadí cenobiální, tradičně nazývaný rod Pediastrum, který se však v nedávné době rozpadl do více rodů kvůli fylogenetickým analýzám. Typicky se vyskytují v eutrofních řekách, jezerech a rybnících. Tvoří charakteristická oválná cenobia, která svým vzhledem mohou připomínat hvězdy. Jejich tvar a velikost může být ovlivňován faktory prostředí, jako jsou pH nebo živiny. Nápomocná může být i geometrická morfometrika při zjišťování morfologické variability nebo při upřesňování fylogenetického stromu. Vnější vrstva bunečné stěny obsahuje polymer algenan. Jelikož je algenan odolný proti kyselinám, schránky buněčných stěn se zachovávají v sedimentu. Zbytky buněčných stěn jsou nalézány zejména v třetihorních sladkovodních sedimentech a jejich výskyt slouží převážně jako indikátor eutrofních podmínek, například v souvislosti antropogenní eutrofizací jezer. Schránky by se také mohly využít k paleolimnologickým rekonstrukcím.
