The modulation techniques analyzed use medium and large vectors to reach the reference vector. The 2L SVPWM uses two large space vectors, and the generated output signal contain low frequency harmonics. 2L+2M SVPWM uses two large and two medium space vectors. This technique provides good power loss distribution. 4L SVPWM works with the activation of four large space vectors. This modulation is able to generate low common-mode voltage. The performance and main features are analyzed using Matlab/Simulink and PLECS blockset software. Power losses, total harmonic distortion and common-mode voltage are compared and evaluated.Postprint (author's final draft

Moreover, saturation and cross-saturation effects make the precise modeling a complex task. This paper proposes a general model of multi-phase magnet-excited synchronous machines considering multi-dimensional space modeling and revealing cross-harmonic saturation. The models can predict multiphase motor behavior in any transient state, including startup. They are based on flux maps obtained from static 2D Finite-Element (FE) analysis. FE validations have been performed to confirm authenticity of the dynamic models of multiphase PMaSynRMs. Very close to FE precision is guaranteed while computation time is incomparably lower.Postprint (author's final draft

Toward multilayer disaggregated node telemetry and local decision making

A generic node agent supporting disaggregated node telemetry is presented. Data collection close to devices enable making local decisions, leveraging SDN controllers for network-wide operations. The agent is demonstrated in a BER-triggered transponder reconfiguration scenario.Peer ReviewedPostprint (published version

The simulatorallows for adding variations tothe modulationtechniques, changingthe inverter structure’s semiconductordevice, and calculatingtheinverter’spower losses. Itcanalso facilitate observingthe current, voltage, andthe jointtemperature ofthe semiconductors devices. Furthermore, wecanobtain a perform that is close to anactualPMa-SynRM, dependingon the desired conditionsof speed and torque. The workbench simulator wasdevelopedby combining three software: Matlab/Simulink, PLECSand Altair Flux.Postprint (author's final draft

Preclinical models of congestive heart failure, advantages, and limitations for application in clinical practice.

Congestive heart failure (CHF) has increased over the years, in part because of recent progress in the management of chronic diseases, thus contributing to the maintenance of an increasingly aging population. CHF represents an unresolved health problem and therefore the establishment of animal models that recapitulates the complexity of CHF will become a critical element to be addressed, representing a serious challenge given the complexity of the pathogenesis of CHF itself, which is further compounded by methodological biases that depend on the animal species in use. Animal models of CHF have been developed in many different species, with different surgical procedures, all with promising results but, for the moment, unable to fully recapitulate the human disease. Large animal models often provide a more promising reality, with all the difficulties that their use entails, and which limit their performance to fewer laboratories, the costly of animal housing, animal handling, specialized facilities, skilled methodological training, and reproducibility as another important limiting factor when considering a valid animal model versus potentially better performing alternatives. In this review we will discuss the different animal models of CHF, their advantages and, above all, the limitations of each procedure with respect to effectiveness of results in terms of clinical application.post-print608 K

[EN] The present final year project has been carried out within the initiative of ETSEAMN to promote the realization of projects oriented to rural engineering projects. The project develops the expansion of the facilities of the Agricultural Cooperative of Algemesí COPAL, namely the design of a warehouse with coldrooms and controlled atmosphere, specially designed for the conservation and treatment of the production of the persimmon of the cooperative. The warehouse includes reception and shipping area, refrigerated storage area, office space and space for changing rooms and toilets. The steel structure, with an area of 800 m2, has been calculated and dimensioned along with electrical, hydraulic (sanitation and plumbing) and refrigeration installations.
