    Proposed Local Art Criticism’s Model For Traditional Ceramic : Mambong Pottery As Case Study

    Malaysia have various crafts include crafts for religious purpose, however, we are still using Feldman’s art criticism model. Feldman’s criticism model do not accommodate contextual value of the crafts and is not made to judge crafts. Most of art lecturers are familiar with Feldman’s art criticism model because its simplicity which only four phases; describe, analyze, interpret, and judge. This study used content analysis and interviewed two postgraduate students who studied pottery in Mambong Village. I modify Feldman’s art criticism model and propose three phase model; internal, original and historical context. Internal context; description include visual and material descriptions, how pottery or handicraft is made, original context; styles, values, principle design within local context, compare and contrast, examine original and other country influences the styles and historical context: historical moments, events, and trends relate to handicraft, how other interpreters have understood it, where it has been placed in the history of art. The model will help student or researchers to evaluate and appreciate the value of crafts including religious crafts. Students will not only know how to judge the quality of the crafts, but they will also appreciate the history and cultural context of the crafts

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh service delay terhadap behavioral intentionsdengan reaksi emosionalsebagai pemediasi. Studi empiris dilakukan pada Maskapai PenerbanganLion Air di Kota Banda Aceh menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument penelitian, yang mana sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sebesar 100 orang.Nonprobability Sampling digunakan sebagai teknik pengambilan sampel dengan metode Purposive Sampling.Metode HLM(Hierarchical Linear Modelling) digunakan sebagai metode analisis data dengan menggunakan software IBM SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa service delayberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap behavioral intentions, service delayberpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap reaksi emosional, reaksi emosional berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap behavioral intentons dan selain itu diperoleh hasil bahwa reaksi emosionalmemediasi pengaruh service delayterhadap behavioral intentions.Kata Kunci :Service Delay (Penundaan Layanan), Reaksi Emosionl, dan Behavioral Intentions. ABSTRACTThis study aims to determine the effect of service delay to behavioral intentions with emotional reactions as a mediating. The empirical study conducted at Lion Air Airlines in Kota Banda Aceh used a questionnaire as a research instrument, which samples in this study of 100 people. Nonprobability sampling is used as a sampling technique with Purposive Sampling. Methods HLM (Hierarchical Linear Modelling) is used as a method of data analysis using software IBM SPSS 22. These results indicate that the service delay positive and significant impact on behavioral intentions, service delay significantly and positively related to emotional reactions, emotional reactions have apositive and significant effect on behavioral intentions and in addition showed that the emotional reactionsmediate effect on service delay to behavioral intentions

    In the existingtechnology, there are severalways for lie detection. Voice Stress Analysis is one of the methods for lie detection. It measures the amount of stress in the subject's voice to detect whether the subject is being truthful or not. The VSA is reported to be cheaper, easier to use, less invasive, less constrained in their operation and more accurate than polygraph with 90 to 95% accuracy. In this project, the theory of Voice Stress Analysis is used to detect deception. Developing the software of lie detection using MATLAB will help in the investigations of law enforcers to detect deception. There are two approaches that are used in this project which are frequency based system and energy based system. The frequency based system detects lie using the variation in the output graph. High variation indicates low stress or 'truthful' voice and low variation indicates high stress or 'lying' voice. The energy based system however, detects deception in the energy spectrum of the voice at 20 to 40 Hz frequency. A flat waveform indicates hard stress while a sharp waveform indicates low stress. Using MATLAB, the voice is processed and both methods are applied. The results for both methods are then compared with the result of a polygraph test. It is found that both methods have different results on certain voice samples and also similar results on certain voice samples. However, the energy based system has more similar results than the frequency based system. Thus, it is more accurate
