Investigation of nucleon - unbound states in 29 Si and 29 P by the reaction 28 Si (d, pn)
The deuteron break-up reaction is a good tool to study nucleon unbound states o f
atomic nuclei [1, 2]. In the present paper we are studying the proton unbound states o f
29P and the neutron unbound states o f 29Si via the 28Si(d, p n )28Si reaction. The experimental
results and an analysis limited to the most prominent peaks in the spectra o f this
reaction were published in an earlier work [3], Now an extended analysis is presented,
based on the “ summed spectra” method [4] which enables us to identify even weak states
in complicated spectra
Synthesis of new 4-butyl-arylpiperazine-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)pyrrolidine-2,5-dione derivatives and evaluation for their 5-HT and D receptor affinity and serotonin transporter inhibition
A series of novel 4-butyl-arylpiperazine-3-(1H-indol-3-yl)pyrrolidine-2,5-dione derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for their 5-HT/D2 receptor affinity and serotonin reuptake inhibition. The compounds exhibited high affinity for the 5-HT receptor, (especially 4d K = 0.4 nM) which depended on the substitution pattern at the phenylpiperazine moiety. From this series screen, compound 4c emerged with promising mixed receptor profiles for the 5-HT/D2 receptors and the serotonin transporter (K = 1.3 nM, 182 nM and 64 nM, respectively).long-chain arylpiperazinesdepression5-HT receptor ligandsschizophreniamulti-target ligand
Elastic scattering of 27.5 MeV alpha particles on Al, Si, S, Ti and Co nuclei and the discrete ambiguity of the optical potential
Angular distributions for elastic scattering of alpha particles on Al, Si, S, Ti and Co nuclei have been measured in the angular range from about 20 to 179 (LAB). The experimental data were fitted with the optical model in full angular range. Many sets of four-parameter potentials, describing the elastic scattering, were found with the depths of the real part ranging from 40 to 450 MeV. A new discrete ambiguity in the optical model namely in was observed
Statistical analysis of excitation functions for elastic and inelastic scattering of -particles on Mg and Si nuclei
The excitation functions for inelastic -scattering leading to the low lying excited states in Mg and Si were measured at = 170°, 175° and 179° in the LAB energy range 22.75–28.40 MeV. Statistical analysis of these excitation functions and those previously measured for elastic scattering was performed. The direct interaction contribution to the reaction studied was obtained from probability distributions of cross sections and from correlation coefficients. Cross correlation coefficients between different reaction channels were calculated
