FLIM FRET Technology for Drug Discovery: Automated Multiwell-Plate High-Content Analysis, Multiplexed Readouts and Application in Situ**

A fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) technology platform intended to read out changes in Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) efficiency is presented for the study of protein interactions across the drug-discovery pipeline. FLIM provides a robust, inherently ratiometric imaging modality for drug discovery that could allow the same sensor constructs to be translated from automated cell-based assays through small transparent organisms such as zebrafish to mammals. To this end, an automated FLIM multiwell-plate reader is described for high content analysis of fixed and live cells, tomographic FLIM in zebrafish and FLIM FRET of live cells via confocal endomicroscopy. For cell-based assays, an exemplar application reading out protein aggregation using FLIM FRET is presented, and the potential for multiple simultaneous FLIM (FRET) readouts in microscopy is illustrated

Purpose: to analyze and ground theoretical and experimental researches of sports. Material methods: method of theoretical analyses and systematization of literately sources, method of logical conclusions and expert estimation. Results: it is shown that problem of aggression is one of the most popular world and sportive psychology. Sport is a model for study of aggression behavior of human. Conclusions: the problem of aggression in sport is practical value as many coaches consider aggression behavior as important quality for gaining success in different kinds of sport. Sportive competitions under regulated levels of their holding have no impact on an aggression.Цель: проанализировать и обобщить теоретические и экспериментальные исследования проблемы агрессии в спорте. Материал и методы: метод теоретического, системного анализа и обобщения литературных источников, метод логических заключений и экспертных оценок. Результаты: показано, что проблема агрессии является одной из самых популярной в мировой и спортивной психологии. Спорт является удобной моделью для изучения агрессивного поведения человека. Выводы: проблема агрессии в спорте имеет практическое значение, так как многие тренеры и спортсмены считают агрессивность важным качеством для достижения успеха в различных видах спорта. Спортивные соревнования при контролируемых уровнях их проведения не влияют на агрессию.Мета: проаналізувати та узагальнити теоретичні й експериментальні дослідження проблеми агресії у спорті. Матеріал і методи: метод теоретичного, системного аналізу й узагальнення літературних джерел, метод логічних висновків і експертних оцінок. Результати: показано, що проблема агресії є однією з самих популярних у світовій і спортивній психології. Спорт є зручною моделлю для вивчення агресивної поведінки людини. Висновки: проблема агресії в спорті має практичне значення, оскільки багато тренерів і спортсменів вважають агресивність важливою якістю для досягнення успіху в різних видах спорту. [Orloff chicken breed: history, current status and studies] Орловская порода кур. История, современное состояние, научные исследования

Приведены исторические сведения о месте (средняя полоса России) и времени происхождения (конец XVIII в.). Информация о предполагаемых предшественниках породы дополнена генетическими исследованиями авторов. Представлено описание орловской породы кур русского типа. Рассмотрены данные о распространении породы в России и за рубежом, современном ее состоянии, участии в выставках птицеводства. Проанализированы факторы, затрудняющие разведение породы, и намечены первоочередные задачи по ее сохранению. The present article provides an overview of the information on the Orloff chicken breed. Historical information about the place (central Russia), time of origin (late 18th century), and alleged progenitors of this domestic breed. The literature data is supplemented with the authors’ genetic studies. Description of the Orloff chicken breed of Russian type is given. Data on the dissemination of the breed in Russia and abroad, its modern state, standard and demonstration in poultry shows is also provided. Factors are discussed that hinder preservation of the breed and priorities for breeding the Orloff chickens are outlined
