COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE FEATURES OF LIPOPOLYSACCHARIDES OF AZOSPIRILLUM LIPOFERUM SP59B AND AZOSPIRILLUM BRASILENSE SR55, GROWN IN THE PRESENCE OF FLAVONOIDS

It is shown that the addition of flavonoids to the growth medium of bacteria Azospirillum lipoferum Sp59b and Azospirillum brasilense SR55 induces the synthesis of lipopolysaccharide, which differs from the original in macromolecular organization, structure, monosaccharide composition, ratio and a set of fatty acids in the lipid A. The data obtained show an important role of flavonoids in the associative relations of azospirilla and plant roots, implemented with the participation of bacterial lipopolysaccharide.Работа выполнена при поддержке гранта Российского фонда фундаментальных исследований (проект 14-04-01658)

FEATURES OF THE COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE OF SURFACE AND MATRIX GLYCOPOLYMERS OF BIOFILMS BACTERIAAZOSPIRILLUM BRASILENSE SP245

Azospirillum brasilense Sp245, when forming biofilms at the air-liquid interface synthesize lipopolysaccharides similar in structure and composition to those, obtained from cells, grown in liquid medium. However, the biofilm matrix differs from extracellular polysaccharides of bacteria, cultured in liquid medium with stirring, in quantity of protein component
