    Graviton-Graviton Scattering, Bel-Robinson and Energy (Pseudo)-Tensors

    Motivated by recent work involving the graviton-graviton tree scattering amplitude, and its twin descriptions as the square of the Bel-Robinson tensor, B_{\m\n\a\b}, and as the "current-current interaction" square of gravitational energy pseudo-tensors t_{\a\b},we find an exact tensor-square root equality B_{\mn\a\b} = \pa^2_\mn t_{\a\b}, for a combination of Einstein and Landau-Lifschitz t_\ab, in Riemann normal coordinates. In the process, we relate, on-shell, the usual superpotential basis for classifying pseudo-tensors with one spanned by polynomials in the curvature.Comment: 7 page

    Preparation and study of growth stimulating activity of 1-propyl-4-(3’-amino-1’, 2’, 4’-triazolo-3’-thiopropinyl) piperidin-4-ol

    Results on the obtaining and the study of a plant growth stimulator based on 1-propyl-4-(3'-amino-1’,2’,4'-triazolo-3'-thiopropinyl) piperidin-4-ol are presented in the article. 1-propylpiperidin-4-on and 3-mercaptopropinyl-5-amin-1,2,4-triazolo were obtained with the basic parameters of the synthesis for synthesizing of 1-propyl-4-(3'-amino-1', 2', 4'-triazolo-3'-thiopropinyl) piperidin-4-ol. The structures of the obtained organic compounds were proved using IR spectroscopy and1H and13C NMR spectrometry. The obtained 1-propyl-4-(3’-amino-1’2’4’-triazolo-3’-thiopropynyl)-piperidine-4-ol was tested for growth-stimulating activity on spring wheat grains compared with control (water) and has proved to be a domestic growth regulator «Akpinol-alpha» (KN-2). © 2019, Universitatea Babes-Bolyai, Catedra de Filosofie Sistematica.     New Supports for Carbon-Metal Catalytic Systems Based on Shungite and Carbonizates of Plant Raw Materials

    In this paper, new carbon containing materials based on products of shungite ore enrichment and carbonizates of plant raw materials were studied. The phase transformations occurring during the carbonization process were studied. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to visualize the surface topography. It was established that supports based on plant raw materials have more developed and homogeneous surface. Specific surface area and porosity was studied by BET (Method of Brunauer-Emmet Taylor). It was found that supports based on plant raw materials have developed microporous surface (383–480 m2/g), with predominant micropores on the surface with dimensions of 1.8–2.5 nm. The mechanical strength of the obtained supports is higher than their industrial analogs and it equals 53–91%. Conversion of methylbutynol on active centers of supports was studied. Supports based on plant raw materials have basic active sites whereby they can be used in base catalysis. Supports based on carbon-mineral raw materials possess acid and basic active sites and they can be used to prepare bidirectional type action of catalysts.     У статті пропонується підхід до інтеграції програмних застосувань на прикладі функціонування Світової системи даних. Авторами розроблено загальну архітектуру системи інтеграції програмних застосувань, механізми якої побудовані на базі моделей та методів математичної логіки і теорії штучного інтелекту. Визначено формальну мову для описання застосувань, правила виведення для побудови схем взаємодії методів застосувань і обміну даними. Працездатність підходу продемонстрована на одній із задач забезпечення сталого розвитку регіонів України.The paper proposes an approach to the solution of software applications integration problem dealing with the support of interdisciplinary research on the example of the functioning of World Data System using the apparatus of mathematical logic and the theory of artificial intelligence. The authors proposed the overall architecture of the system integration, a formal language for description of existing applications and their functionalities. The inference rules were formulated that define the implementation circuit of application methods and data exchange in the users’ tasks solution process and the algorithm of the mechanism work dealing with the building of the users’ tasks tree solution based on the received output was designed. The proposed approach and the developed models and algorithms are illustrated with the help of the life safety component calculation task and indication of the threat critical values for the analysis of Ukrainian regions sustainable development, and this analysis is carried out annually by the World Data Center for Geoinformatics and Sustainable Development on behalf of the Committee on the systematic analysis of the Ukrainian NAS Presidium.В статье предлагается подход к интеграции программных приложений на примере функционирования Всемирной системы данных. Авторами разработана общая архитектура системы интеграции программных приложений, механизмы которой построены на базе моделей и методов математической логики и теории искусственного интеллекта.     New Electrodes Prepared from Mineral and Plant Raw Materials of Kazakhstan

    Electrode materials were prepared from activated carbonizates of walnut shell, apricot pits and shungite rock from “Bakyrchik” deposit, East Kazakhstan. Physicochemical characteristics of the obtained samples were studied by the Brunauer-EmettTaylor method, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy and other methods. Electrochemical properties of the obtained materials were studied by the method of cyclic voltammetry. It was found that the samples have an amorphous structure. Samples based on plant raw materials after hydrothermal carbonization at 240 °С during 24 h, have more homogeneous and developed surface. Specific surface area of carbon containing materials based on apricot pits is 1300 m2/g, for those on the based on mineral raw material, it is 153 m2/g. It was shown that materials after hydrothermal carbonization can be used for catalytic purposes and electrodes after thermal carbonization for analytical and electrocatalytic purposes.Electrode obtained by HTC have electrocatalytic activity. CSC 240 has high background current (slope i/Е is 43 mА V–1 cm–2), low potential of the hydrogen electroreduction (more positive by ~ 0.5 V than samples based on plant raw materials). The reaction of DA determination is more pronounced on the electrodes obtained by HTC 240 °C, 24 h, due to the nature, carbon structure and high specific surface area of obtained samples

    Gravitational energy in a small region for the modified Einstein and Landau-Lifshitz pseudotensors

    The purpose of the classical Einstein and Landau-Lifshitz pseudotensors is for determining the gravitational energy. Neither of them can guarantee a positive energy in holonomic frames. In the small sphere approximation, it has been required that the quasilocal expression for the gravitational energy-momentum density should be proportional to the Bel-Robinson tensor BαβμνB_{\alpha\beta\mu\nu}. However, we propose a new tensor VαβμνV_{\alpha\beta\mu\nu} which is the sum of certain tensors SαβμνS_{\alpha\beta\mu\nu} and KαβμνK_{\alpha\beta\mu\nu}, it has certain properties so that it gives the same gravitational "energy-momentum" content as BαβμνB_{\alpha\beta\mu\nu} does. Moreover, we show that a modified Einstein pseudotensor turns out to be one of the Chen-Nester quasilocal expressions, while the modified Landau-Lifshitz pseudotensor becomes the Papapetrou pseudotensor; these two modified pseudotensors have positive gravitational energy in a small region.Comment:

    The study deals with the pathogenesis and early diagnosis of renal dysfunction in low and extremely low birth weight (ELBW) premature neonates. Objective: to study the specific features of the mechanisms responsible for the development of acute renal failure (ARF) in low and ELBW neonates and to use an analysis of oxygen status parameters as a method for early diagnosis of neonatal ARF. Subjects and methods. The study included 172 neonatal infants with a birth body weight of 800 to 1500 g. The values of blood gas composition and base-acid balance, and oxygen status were daily studied in all the children, by analyzing all the indices reflecting tissue hypoxia. Results. Analysis of oxygen status parameters in relation to a baby’s body weight revealed no considerable differences. The development of renal dysfunction and ARF in low and ELBW neonates was demonstrated to be most frequently caused by the progression of respiratory failure and tissue hypoxia, which suggests secondary renal lesion in the pattern of multiple organ dysfunction. It was ascertained that edema had a direct correlation with a physiological shunt fraction and oxygenation index and a moderate inverse correlation with blood oxygen tension and respiration index. In addition, an inverse correlation was found between the serum concentration of lactate and the daily volume of diuresis. The rate of hourly diuresis had a direct correlation with respiratory index and an inverse correlation with oxygenation index. Conclusion. Key words: acute renal failure, renal dysfunction, neonatal infants, low and extremely low birth weight, hypoxia, oxygen status, multiple organ dysfunction.В статье описан клинический случай применения раннего энтерального питания иммунной смесью у пациента с выраженной сердечной недостаточностью после кардиохирургического вмешательства, находящегося на веноз-но-артериальной экстракорпоральной мембранной оксигенации. Контроль безопасности и эффективности нут-ритивной поддержки осуществлялся с помощью оценки кислотно-основного состояния крови, уровня оксигена-ции и контроля резидуального желудочного объема, что позволило к третьим суткам послеоперационного периода увеличить объем вводимой энтеральной смеси до 2600 ккал, что обеспечивало энергетические потребности организма, определенные расчетными методами. На 4-е сутки после операции на фоне удовлетворительных показателей гемодинамики экстракорпоральная мембранная оксигенация отключена, спустя 7 суток пациент был отлучен от аппарата ИВЛ. Срок пребывания в палате реанимации составил 14 суток. Пациент был выписан из стационара в удовлетворительном состоянии. Таким образом, раннее начало энтерального питания может являться безопасным и эффективным методом нутритивной поддержки у больных, находящихся на вспомогательном кровообращении.
