Empirical Study on Employee Job Satisfaction in Retail Industries

    Get PDF
Enterprises are constituted by a number of employees, Employee Satisfaction directly determine their level of enthusiasm, which affecting the basic conditions of human resources. In this area, the research about retail industries is weak. In view of this paper is to make my own explorations. So I explore the characteristics and features of investigation upon the research of Employee Satisfaction people did before. Then the evaluation criteria of Employee Satisfaction is determined. The evaluation criteria is determined quantitative by AHP, The article use the AHP and Fuzzy Comprehensive Assessment Model to find the way to assess the Employee Satisfaction effectively

Can fallback accretion on magnetar model power the X-ray flares simultaneously observed with gamma-rays of Gamma-ray bursts?

The prompt emission, X-ray plateau, and X-ray flares of Gamma-ray bursts (GRB) are thought to be from internal dissipation, and the magnetar as the central engine with propeller fallback accretion is proposed to interpret the observed phenomena of GRBs. In this paper, by systematically searching for X-ray emission observed by Swift/Xry Telescope, we find that seven robust GRBs include both X-ray flares and plateau emissions with measured redshift. More interestingly, the X-ray flares/bumps for those seven GRBs are simultaneously observed in the gamma-ray band. By adopting the propeller fallback accretion model to fit the observed data, it is found that the free parameters of two GRBs (140512A and 180329B) can be constrained very well, while in the other five cases, more or less, they are not all sufficiently constrained. On the other hand, this requires that the conversion efficiency of the propeller is to be two or three times higher than that of the spindown dipole radiation of the magnetar. If this is the case, it is contradictory to the expectation from the propeller model: namely, a dirtier ejecta should be less efficient in producing gamma-ray emissions. Our results hint that at least the magnetar central engine with propeller fallback accretion model cannot interpret very well both the GRB X-ray flares simultaneously observed in the gamma-ray band and the X-ray flares of GRBs with a high Lorentz factor.Comment: 13 pages, 5 figures, 1 table, updated references, match with published versio

Cold-Formed Steel Framed Shear Walls with In-Frame Corrugated Steel Sheathing

The objective of this paper is to find an alternative non-combustible high-performance shear wall system that can be used in mid- and high-rise cold-formed steel (CFS) light-framed buildings. To achieve this goal, an innovative shear wall configuration with corrugated steel sheathing was proposed in this research. The proposed shear wall configuration has the corrugated steel sheathings placed inside the steel framing and hence is known as the in-frame/sheet-in shear wall. The sheet-in shear wall has an equal thickness with its adjacent walls and thus avoids the difficulties in design and installation of finish materials that suffered in common corrugated steel sheathed shear walls. This paper involves the testing of three different shear wall types in which the stud arrangement and sheathing continuity varied. The details of the test specimens and test results are presented. The results indicate that shear walls with lower profiled field stud and continuous sheathing showed satisfactory performance with balanced shear behavior and ease of assembly. Also, the innovative in-frame/sheet-in shear wall demonstrated substantially higher shear capacity than the code certified shear walls. This paper was prepared as part of the U.S. National Science Foundation grant award, NSF PFI: AIR-TT 1445065 "Innovative High-Performance Cold-Formed Steel Wall System for Light Framed Construction." Identifying risk factors for cesarean scar pregnancy: a retrospective study of 79 cases

Objectives: To explore the possible risk factors for cesarean scar pregnancy (CSP), the incidence of which is increasing rapidly in China. Material and methods: 79 patients with CSP and 69 non-CSP expectant mothers with at least 1 previous cesarean section were employed in the study. The obstetric histories of the participants were collected and analyzed using Chi square test. Results: We found that 77.2% CSP patients had ≥ 3 pregnancies and only 36.2% women had ≥ 3 pregnacies in non-CSP group. During the previous cesarean delivery, 21.5% of CSP patients had entered the first stage of labor, which was 43.5% in non-CSP group (P < 0.05). Cephalopelvic disproportion occurred in 51.9% of CSP patients, which was significantly higher than that (23.2%) in non-CSP group (P < 0.01). 11.4% of CSP patients had undergone cesarean section due to breech and shoulder presentation in the past, which was only 1.4% in non-CSP group. However, no significance was noted (P > 0.05). We did not find significant differences between the CSP and non-CSP patients in maternal age, multiple cesarean sections, gestational age, emergency or elective caesarean section. Conclusions: Multiple pregnancies, absence of the first stage of labor, and cephalopelvic disproportion might be the risk factors for the occurrence of CSP.

Efficient Concentration Protocols for the Single-Photon Entanglement State with Polarization Feature

We propose two efficient entanglement concentration protocols (ECPs) for arbitrary less-entangled single-photon entanglement state, in which the photon qubit has the polarization feature. The first ECP is in linear optics, and the second ECP is in nonlinear optics. The two ECPs have some attractive advantages. First, they can preserve the polarization feature of the photon qubit, while all the other existing ECPs for single photon state cannot achieve this goal. Second, they only require one pair of less-entangled single-photon entanglement state and some auxiliary single photons. Third, they only require local operations. Especially, the second ECP can be used repeatedly, which can increase its success probability largely. Based on above properties, our two ECPs, especially the second one may be useful in current and future quantum communication
