    ANALISIS BENTUK DAN RAGAM HIAS PADA MAKAM RAJA TANETE DI KECAMATAN TANETE RILAU KABUPATEN BARRU PROVINSI SULAWESI SELATAN

    ABSTRAct Tombs of Petta Pallase-laseā€™e and Datu We Tenri Olle are an object of archaeological heritage in the Tanete region, based on are shapes of the two tombs are very unique and contains hostorical elements of cultural and religious developments in Tanete region. The purpose of this study was to determine the shape and variety of the kingā€™s tomb of Tanete, and to find aut cultural elements that influenced it. The research method used is descriptive analytical consisting of several stages, observational, interviews and documentations. The result showed that the shape of  the kingā€™s tomb of Petta Pallase-laseā€™e is stepped pyramid and the shape of the Datu We Tenri Olleā€™s tombs is dome. In addition there are also decorative arts, namely architectural, and decorative, motive are geometric motives, flora, and inscriptions. Through the shape and variety of the two tombs that element of tombs was influenced by Megalithic, Local, Hindu-Buddha, Islamic, and Colonial cultures that developed in the Tanete region. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bentuk dan ragam hias Makam Raja Tanete, dan untuk mengetahui unsur budaya apa yang mempengaruhinya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskripstif analisis yang terdiri dari tahap studi pustaka, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian yaitu bentuk Makam Raja Petta Pallase-laseā€™e berbentuk punden berundak, dan bentuk Makam Datu We Tenri Olle berbentuk kubah. Selain itu terdapat juga bentuk ragam hias berupa ragam hias arsitektural dan dekoratif, bermotif geometris, flora, dan inskripsi. Berdasarkan bentuk dan ragam hiasnya disimpulkan bahwa makam-makam tersebut mendapat pengaruh unsur budaya Megalitik, Lokal, Hindu-Buddha, Islam, dan Kolonial yang berkembang di wilayah Tanete.     Kata kunci ditulis : makam raja; bentuk dan ragam hias; unsur buday

    Along with the development of communication technology, and information system, more and more also made the attendance system, and academic information. The development of a more modern absentee system with respect to the honesty side needs to be built as a substitute for manual absence using paper. Attendance system is at once can be a new standard on attendance system in Education environment. The choice of fingerprint attendance system based on communication technology in the form of SMS is because it is more practical, cheap, and efficient to convey information. Parents do not have to bother anymore come to school just to know the presence or absence of his son / daughter. In the implementation of this application, in the early stages of the user must register their identity by using the application program absenteeism built with PHP programming language, to further stored the absence data into the database My SQL which has integrated SMS Gateway through the SMS sending software that is Gammu. In addition with SMS Gateway technology, parents will be easier to obtain information on the presence of his son / daughter. From the student side, it is hoped that it will foster discipline attitude in time because indirectly this application will grow the mental attitude on time to the students, and it is expected that this application can fix any deficiencies in attendance application that has been implemented earlier

    Penerapan strategi heuristik VEE untuk meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa: penelitian tindakan kelas di MTsN Tangerang II Pamulang

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis: (1) penerapan strategi heuristik vee dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa, (2) aktivitas belajar matematika siswa selama penerapan strategi heuristik vee, (3) respon siswa selama penerapan strategi heuristik vee (4) proses pembelajaran saat diterapkan strategi heuristik vee. Penelitian dilakukan di MTs N Tangerang II Pamulang Kota Tangerang Selatan tahun ajaran 2011/2012. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi aktivitas kelompok, jurnal harian siswa, pedoman wawancara, tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan strategi heuristik vee dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa. Pada siklus I rata-rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa sebesar 63 meningkat menjadi 82,03 pada siklus II, diikuti dengan peningkatan persentase kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang meliputi kemampuan memahami masalah, menyusun rencana, melakukan penghitungan, dan menguji kembali. Selain kemampuan pemecahan masalah, aktivitas belajar dan respon siswa menunjukkan peningkatan, rata-rata aktivitas belajar pada siklus I sebesar 66,16% dan meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 70,46%. Berdasarkan jurnal harian rata-rata persentase respon positif siswa mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 38,96% menjadi 61,77% pada siklus II
