The Effect of Oscimum Sanctum to the Thrombocytes Number on Mice

Oscimum sanctum is herbal that was spread widely in Indonesia. Oscimum sanctum contains abundant of substances. One of the functions on Oscimum sanctum was anti-thrombocytes effect. This effect is associated with platelet function as a mechanical plug in the vascular injury during the normal homeostatic response. The disruption in thrombocytes function leads to disturb the blood clotting process. Therefore, The aims of the research were to prove the impact of Oscimum sanctum on the number of thrombocytes. This research used mice that divided into 3 groups, as a group I dose 250 mg/day (Oscimum sanctum infusion), group II dose 500 mg/day and the control group. We used clopidogrel as a positive control to determine the effectiveness of anti platelet effect. Data were analyzed by ANOVA showed that the existence of anti-thrombocyte effect in the Oscimum sanctum dose 500 mg/day was significantly different. This result proved that Oscimum sanctum has anti-thrombocytes effect by decreasing thrombocytes number

The Optimal Linear Quadratic Feedback State Regulator Problem for Index One Descriptor Systems

In this note we present both necessary and sufficient conditions for the existence of a linear static state feedback controller if the system is described by an index one descriptor system. A priori no definiteness restrictions are made w.r.t. the quadratic performance criterium. It is shown that in general the set of solutions that solve the problem constitutes a manifold. In this paper we consider the discounted linear quadratic differential game for descriptor systems that have an index larger than one. We derive both necessary and sufficient conditions for existence of an open-loop Nash (OLN) equilibrium. Peningkatkan Kemandirian Dasa Wisma Kelurahan Sekaran dalam Pencegahan Demam Berdarah Dengue

Untuk memutuskan rantai penularan penyakit demam berdarah dengue, pemberantasan vektor dianggap cara yang paling mamadai saat ini. Kemandirian dasa wisma dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan pembangunan kesehatan di tingkat kelurahan sebagai persiapan menuju desa siaga. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat khususnya di Kelurahan Sekaran untuk meningkatkan Kewaspadaan terhadap terjadinya penyakit demam berdarah. Masyarakat diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan, kesadaran, kemauan, dan kemampuan untuk dapat ikut mencegah penyakit demam berdarah di lingkungannya secara mandiri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu melalui komunikasi, informasi, dan edukasi serta pendampingan oleh mahasiswa. Hasil yang didapatkan yaitu adanya peningkatan nilai pretes dari peserta kegiatan sebesar 19,88%, dan peserta dapat menyelesaikan atau memecahkan masalahmasalah penyakit demam berdarah yang diberikan selama kegiatan. Proses Komunikasi Interpersonal Ayah Dan Anak Dalam Menjaga Hubungan

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami proses komunikasi interpersonal ayah dan anak dalam menjaga hubungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori proses komunikasi interpersonal yang terdiri dari sumber-penerima, encoding-decoding, pesan, saluran, hambatan, konteks, etika, dan kompetensi interpersonal. Kemudian dari proses ini difokuskan pada hal perilaku menjaga hubungan baik yaitu, Openess and routine talk, Positivity, Assurances, Supportiveness, Mediated communication, Conflict management, dan Humor. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga informan yakni ayah dan dua orang anak kandungnya sendiri. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus, dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses komunikasi interpersonal ayah dan anak dalam menjaga hubungan antara SIGIT dan kedua anaknya masih terlihat adanya beberapa sikap SIGIT yang lebih memihak kepada SAS

The Effectiveness of Guided Discovery Learning to Teach Integral Calculus for the Mathematics Students of Mathematics Education Widya Dharma University

The objectives of this research are (1) to develop Guided Discovery Learning in integral calculus subject; (2) to identify the effectiveness of Guided Discovery Learning in improving the students' understanding toward integral calculus subject. This research was quasy experimental research with the students of even semester in Mathematics Education Widya Dharma University as the sample. Cluster Random sampling was conducted to determine control group that was taught using Conventional model and experimental group that was taught using Guided Discovery Learning model. The instruments of this research included pre-test, post-test, and student's response questionnaire. The data of post-test was analyzed using T-test. The result was H0 was rejected for the level of significance The result of this data analysis found out that Guide Discovery Learning was more effective than Conventional Model. It was supported by the result questionnaire. The result of questionnaire that more than 75% questionnaire items got 67.65% positive response. It means Guided Discovery Learning can increase students' interest in joining integral calculus class

The methode which is whichused is a quantitatively method. The population of this study is overall of UIN Sunan Kalijaga employeestotaling 498 people, with a sample of 222 respondents. Research location is UIN Sunan KalijagaYogyakarta.Techiques of data collection is done by providing the questionaire as the primary data.From the reasearch that been done obtained the following results : First, the relationship between theculture of the organization with employee performance by 0.619, direction and significant.
