COVID-19 Pandemic and Law No. 6 Year 2018 regarding Health Quarantine

Abstract. By late March, to anticipate the spreading of COVID-19 pandemic, the President of the Republic of Indonesia has issued several regulations. The Author has examined that the main laws that were used as the based for the issuance of those regulations are Law No.6 Year 2018 regarding Health Quarantine (the Health Quarantine Law). Therefore in order to handle COVID-19 pandemic, an understanding of the Law become a must. The aim of this research is to elaborate and explain the Health Quarantine Law to reduce the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is normative legal research. The research used secondary data, which consisted of primary legal sources and secondary legal sources. Data were collected through the "google scholar machine". Data obtained were analyzed using a qualitative approach. Findings and analysis proved that besides those newly issued regulations there were several measures and acts that should be taken to handle the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The Author suggests that the Central Government shall take the necessary steps as soon as possible

Legality of cryptocurrency in Indonesia / Gunawan Widjaja

The existence of cryptocurrency has attracted controvercies world wide. Many people, including Indonesian, had benefit from cryptocurrency, meanwhile there were also more people suffered lost from “investment” in cryptocurrency. The aim of this research was to make clear the legal status of cryptocurrency in Indonesia. This research was a normative legal research. It conducted literature review to obtain the required data. Data obtained and used in this research were secondary data, which consisted of primary, secondary and tertiary legal documents. Data obtained from literature review were analysed using normative comparative method with qualitative approach. The result proved that as currency, the existence of cryptocurrency for payment was legally prohibited. The involvement of Indonesian citizen in the “investment” in form of crytocurrency can be treated as against public policy even though the issuance of such cryptocurrency was subject to foreign applicable laws

Tujuan praktis yaitu agar dapat mengetahui apakah kedudukan hukum terhadap harta bawaan dalam Putusan Pengadilan Negeri Gresik Nomor 53/PDT.G/2007/PN.Gs sudah sesuai dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 1974 tentang Perkawinan. PENGADAAN TANAH DALAM PEMBANGUNAN TOL SERANG- PANIMBANG SEKSI III YANG DIKUASAI OLEH BADAN USAHA MILIK NEGARA (STUDI PADA KANTOR BADAN PERTANAHAN NASIONAL KABUPATEN PANDEGLANG)

Pengadaan tanah adalah perbuatan hukum yang berupa melepaskan hubungan hukum yang semula ada antara pemegang hak dan tanahnya yang diperlukan dengan pemberian imbalan dalam bentuk uang atau fasilitas lainnya melalui musyawarah untuk mencapai kata sepakat antara empunya tanah dan pihak yang memerlukan. Pembangunan jalan tol Serang Panimbang Seksi III merupakan pembangunan untuk kepentingan umum dan termasuk dalam proyek strategis nasional berdasarkan Peraturan Presiden Nomor 58 Tahun 2017 Tentang Percepatan Pelaksanaan Proyek Strategis Nasional. Dalam pembangunan Jalan tol Serang-Panimbang seksi 3 (tiga) sepanjang 33 Km (tiga puluh tiga kilometer) yang menghubungkan Cileles- Panimbang menargetkan pembebasan lahan untuk 1.497 (seribu empat ratus Sembilan puluh tujuh) bidang tanah. Sementara, saat ini 327 (tiga ratus dua puluh tujuh) bidang tanah yang belum dibebasakan dimana beberapa bidang tanah tersebut dikuasai oleh Badan Usaha Milik Negara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana bentuk pelepasan dan ganti rugi atas objek pengadaan tanah yang dikuasai oleh Badan Usaha Milik Negara dalam pembangunan jalan tol serang panimbang seksi III. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Normatif yuridis dengan melakukan norma hukum yang terdapat dalam peraturan perundang-undangan dan didukung dengan pendekatan empiris atau studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terhadap beberapa bidang tanah yang dikuasai oleh Badan Usaha Milik Negara dalam pelepasan dan ganti kerugiannya tidak merujuk pada Undang–Undang Nomor 2 Tahun 2012 Tentang Pengadaan Tanah Bagi Pembangunan Untuk Kepentingan Umum

FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KINERJA MANAJEMEN RISIKO PASOKAN DALAM RITEL BUKU DAN ALAT TULIS DI SURABAYA

This study aims to analyze factors which influence risk management performance. Variables which are used, supplier orientation, supplier dependency, customer orientation, and systemic purchasing toward the risk management performance in retail book and stationary at Surabaya. This research uses quantitative approach by using multiple linear regression. The sample of the study is the retail book and stationary at Surabaya. The total sample is 91. Research finding indicates that supplier orientation and supplier dependency give significantly positive effect to risk management performance. While customer orientation and systemic purchasing aren’t significant yet they give positive effect to risk management performance

Status Hukum Bank Pembangunan Daerah

Peran Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) bagi pembangunan masyarakat daerah sampai saat ini masih sangat diperlukan, walaupun keberadaan BPD yang secara de yure sudah dihapus oleh Undang-Undang No.7 Tahun 1992 tentang Perbankan (UU Perbankan). Tulisan ini menganalisis status hukum dari BPD sekarang ini dan harta kekayaannya. Hasil analisis yang diberikan di sini menunjukkan bahwa BPD tidaklah identik dengan Badan Usaha Milik Daerah (BUMD) dan juga terjadi kesalahan mendasar dalam penerapan tindak pidana korupsi terhadap pemberian kredit oleh BPD

Should Cannabis as Medicine be Specifically Regulated?

In 2017, a patient case in Sangau, West Kalimantan, involving a women with syringomyelia has drawn public attention. The case ended with the arrest of her husband who cultivated Cannabis to treat her disease. Currently, Indonesian regulation classifies Cannabis as the first group of narcotics which are prohibited to be used as medicine. This research aimed to ellaborate whether Cannabis as medicine should be specifically regulated. Data source was national and international regulation on narcotics and scientific evidence regarding medical benefit of Cannabis The data was obtained from literature search with following keywords; regulation of Cannabis, medical use of Cannabis, Cannabis medicine. Analysis was conducted using qualitative approach. The results of this study showed that Indonesian regulation regarding Cannabis is associated with International Convention on narcotics. Evidence-based data on Cannabis application in medical treatment have been extensively studied. Given beneficial effect of Cannabis to treat many diseases, several countries have already regulated the use of Cannabis for medical purpose. In conclusion, it is worth to consider a specific regulation for medical Cannabis in Indonesia, given its beneficial utilization to treat certain diseases.
