    Key Points in Implementation of Knowledge Management and Its Solutions

    In knowledge-base economy times, knowledge becomes the most important resource for enterprise instead of physical labor, capital and natural resources. The success of the enterprise depends more and more on the quantity and quality of knowledge owned by it. The core competitiveness originates from employees’ innovation ability which comes from knowledge accumulation and knowledge management. How to manage the knowledge possessed by the enterprise and how to make it becoming the sustaining competitive advantages for the enterprise? This is a new problem we must face. Finding the key points of knowledge management and plan the solution path are the crux to settle this problem. Key Words: Knowledge; Knowledge Management; Innovation; Competitiveness Résumé: Dans l’ ère de l’économie de la connaissance, la connaissance devient la ressource la plus importante pour les entreprises au lieu de travail physique, des capitaux et des ressources naturelles.     Biphenyl-bridged 6-(1-aryliminoethyl)-2-iminopyridyl-cobalt complexes: synthesis, characterization and ethylene polymerization behavior

    A series of biphenyl-bridged 6-(1-aryliminoethyl)-2-iminopyridine derivatives reacted with cobalt dichloride in dichloromethane/ethanol to afford the corresponding binuclear cobalt complexes. The cobalt complexes were characterized by FT-IR spectroscopy and elemental analysis, and the structure of a representative complex was confirmed by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. Upon activation with either MAO or MMAO, these cobalt complexes performed with high activities of up to 1.2 × 10⁷ g (mol of Co)⁻¹ h⁻¹ in ethylene polymerization, which represents one of the most active cobalt-based catalytic systems in ethylene reactivity. These biphenyl-bridged bis(imino)pyridylcobalt precatalysts exhibited higher activities than did their mononuclear bis(imino)pyridylcobalt precatalyst counterparts, and more importantly, the binuclear precatalysts revealed a better thermal stability and longer lifetimes. The polyethylenes obtained were characterized by GPC, DSC, and high-temperature NMR spectroscopy and mostly possessed unimodal and highly linear features

    Bi- and tri-dentate imino-based iron and cobalt pre-catalysts for ethylene oligo-/polymerization

    Recent progress on the use of iron and cobalt complex pre-catalysts for ethylene reactivity is reviewed. The review is organized in terms of the denticity of the chelate ligands employed, with particular reference to the influence of the ligand frameworks and their substituents on the catalytic performance for ethylene oligomerization/polymerization catalysis. The majority of the systems bear tri-dentate ligation at the iron/cobalt centre, though it is clear that bi-dentate iron/cobalt complex pre-catalysts have also attracted significant attention. Such systems produce in most cases highly linear products ranging from oligomeric α-olefins to high molecular weight polyethylene, and as such are promising candidates for both academic and industrial considerations

    Robust control of uncertain nonlinear systems: a nonlinear DOBC approach

    This paper advocates disturbance observer based control (DOBC) for uncertain nonlinear systems. Within this framework, a nonlinear controller is designed based on the nominal model in the absence of disturbance and uncertainty where the main design specifications are to stabilize the system and achieve good tracking performance. Then a nonlinear disturbance observer is designed to not only estimate external disturbance but also system uncertainty/ unmodelled dynamics. With described uncertainty, rigorous stability analysis of the closed-loop system under the composite controller is established in this paper. Finally, the robust control problems of a missile roll stabilization and a mass spring system are addressed to illustrative the distinct features of the nonlinear DOBC approach

    The Study of the Composite Material Go/CF/PTFE Tribological Property

    In this paper, the composite material Go/CF/PTFE tribological property was studied. The test of its mechanical property, and the fabrication of the filled PTEE composite material sample which is based on the technology of cold press molding and sinter molding proved that adding Go and CF moderately to the composite material was an efficient way to improve its mechanical property. Meanwhile the process of friction and wear trial and SEM analysis results of the micro-structure of wear pattern proved that the addition of the Go and CF tremendously improved the anti-wear property and that after the addition the plowing effect which took place on the material surface would turn into a kind of mixed wear effect that includes plowing effect and fatigue wear. Working as pinning and bridging, the Go which distributing uniformly in the matrix was able to improve the resistance and substantially resisted the crack propagation, therefore to a certain degree enhanced the intensity of composite material and prolong its lifespan
