"Predictors of Trust in Buyer-Supplier Relations: A Contextual and Cultural Comparison of Japan and Turkey"

Trust is a dimension of buyer-supplier relations being researched widely, but studies have generally focused on developed economies. Developing countries, however, have contextual and cultural factors that may differentiate them from developed countries. This study attempts to apply a theoretical model developed for the US, Japan, and Korea to a developing country context, namely Turkey. While Turkey has cultural similarities to Japan in terms of collectivism and risk aversion, the results of the theoretical model show that is does not fit the Turkish case. Suggestions are made to extend the model theoretically and measurement-wise to help explain trust building factors in developing countries.

PENINGKATAN WAWASAN MASYARAKAT TENTANG HUBUNGAN BERAT TAS PUNGGUNG DENGAN NYERI PUNGGUNG BAWAH PADA ANAK USIA 10 – 12 TAHUN

Anak anak biasanya menggunakan tas punggung untuk membawa barang-barang mereka ke sekolah. Meskipun tas punggung banyak diminati oleh anak-anak  tetapi dapat berdampak negative pada tubuhnya bila berat tas melebihi 10% dari total berat tubuh. Adanya nyeri punggung bawah, penurunan berat badan, kelemahan, dan  tidur merupakan dampak negative yang terjadi pada anak.  Oleh sebab itu, penting dilakukan penyuluhan tentang hubungan berat tas punggung dengan nyeri punggung bawah pada anak usia 10 – 12 tahun kepada masyarakat. Penyuluhan ini merupakan bagian dari bentuk pengabdian kepada masyarakat guna peningkatan kesehatan masyarakat. The Effectiveness of Using Blended Learning with Google Classroom and Zoom Media on Students' Understanding

The teaching and learning process is the core of education. Everything that has been programmed will be carried out in the teaching and learning process where interaction and involvement is needed between educators and students with materials as the medium. Teaching activities at the strata 1 level involve educators called lecturers and students called students. In general, teaching activities are carried out offline, which involves direct interaction between lecturers and students. At the beginning of 2021, rumors began to appear that there was a global disaster of the Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) pandemic, which initially Indonesia considered that the Corona virus was impossible to enter Indonesia. However, the development of the virus is so fast. Indonesia finally announced in early March 2021 as a country experiencing the impact of the global disaster due to the COVID -19 pandemic. This study wants to find out how effective it is to use blended learning by using google classroom and zoom to improve the understanding of FEB students at Muhammadiyah University of Gresik. This research is a quantitative research using causal clause relationship, using SPSS version 23.0 analysis tool. The results obtained from this study are that the Google Classroom and Zoom applications partially and simultaneously have a significant positive effect on student understanding

Persepsi Masyarakat Nelayan Terhadap Pendidikan Formal Anak

The purpose of this study was to determine fishermen’s perceptions about the importance of children’s formal education, and the factors that influence fishermen’s perceptions. The data were collected by observation, interviews, and documentation. The subject of this study was parents and children who continue their education and those who are not. The study showed that there are still parents who think that education is not important. It is a waste of time, money, energy and thought. Education is considered a way to get a job, even though it can also be by helping parents to work. Besides, there are also some parents who think that education is very important for their children’s future. Pengetahuan Investasi Memediasi Pengaruh Pepresepsi Return Dan Risiko Terhadap Minat Investasi Mahasiswa

Background - Students are part of the community who are studying higher education and are expected to be an example for other people in investing, the investment level is still low, it is necessary to improve so that the investment interest of the community, including students, can increase in the future. Aim - The purpose of this study was to determine whether the perception of return and risk as well as the mediation of investment knowledge can influence students' investment interest. Design / methodology / approach - The research approach is quantitative and data is obtained from distributing questionnaires which are then processed using data analysis techniques using the SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) model using the SmartPLS 3.0 (Partial Least Square) program. Findings - Based on the results of the analysis it is proven that students' perceptions of returns and investment risks have an effect on investment intentions. Investment knowledge has a significant effect on investment knowledge, this empirical result means that the higher students understand returns and risks, and know about investment, the higher the interest in investing in students. Student investment knowledge is proven to be able to mediate the effect of perceived returns and investment risks on investment intentions. Proven student investment knowledge will have an indirect impact on student investment interest. Conclusion - The results of this study indicate that student knowledge is one of the most important factors to increase interest in investing. The earlier we invest, the better prepared we are to face the challenges and risks that may arise in the future. Research implications - Investment is something that students need to study in order to know the right investment and provide long-term benefits. Basically, people who invest are a sign that the person has prepared himself to face the changing economy of a country, so that by preparing himself to face things that are not desirable in the future, especially related to the economy. This research also contributes to science, especially financial management, the results of this study provide a perspective where investment interest is not focused on returns and risks, but requires knowledge about investment. Research Limitations - This research has limitations, namely the population and sample are only focused on UMG 2019 management study program students and cannot be averaged with other objects, future researchers are expected to expand the sample with a wide coverage so that this research can be applied in general

Today more and more women are having careers outside the home, especially those working in offices, in certain places and this always raises pros and cons. Women work, wives work, this sometimes creates problems in the family. Some cannot accept it, some accept it, some do it with an open heart, some do it with a guilty heart. There are women who work but are constantly plagued with guilt because they think they should be at home. The purpose of the service is to explain in more detail solutions to solving problems regarding the positive and negative sides of women's dual roles and regarding the mechanisms for managing or managing time. The socialization was carried out face-to-face with Almadany Elementary School teachers. Along with presenting the material, the implementing team showed a video that had been made by the implementing team on Youtube regarding women's mental health. The final result is that participants can understand how to maintain mental health in multiple roles
