    Get PDF
The educational complex on the electrical engineering and electronics has been developed. It contains a course of lectures and lecture notes in the electronic form, a new computer laboratory practical work and practical training. All electronic manuals are based on modeling of electric and electronic circuits in the new effective program TINA. The educational complex is being successfully used in educational process on internal and distant learning

GIS AND BIM INTEGRATION IN BUILDINGS AND INFRASTRUCTURES CONSTRUCTION

    Get PDF
Building information modeling (BIM) is one of the most promising recent developments in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. With BIM technology, an accurate virtual model of a building is digitally constructed. This model, known as a building information model, can be used for planning, design, construction, and operation of the facility.Unfortunately, a lot of critical data gets lost in-between the different stages of the build process, from conceptualization to construction and maintenance. This is the result of converting and translating data between other software solutions and formats. This problem is preventable. By integrating GIS data into BIM models. This article will demonstrate how GIS and BIM can be applied to the construction workflow for buildings and infrastructure, and which benefits can provide this integration for improving the quality of the construction process

Investigation of longitudinal reinforcement contribution in shear punching of reinforced concrete flat slabs without transverse reinforcement

    Get PDF
The shear punching of the reinforced concrete slabs is a complex process occurring when considerable force is concentrated on the relatively small area of a column-slab connection. An incorrect assessment of load capacity of slab under the punching shear may lead to an accident. One of the most significant factors affecting the slab capacity is longitudinal reinforcement. In this article much attention is given to the analysis of the longitudinal rebar impact on the maximum loading capacity of reinforced concrete slabs without transverse reinforcement affected by punching shear force using the finite element method. The results obtained via the finite element simulation are compared with laboratory tests and manual calculations carried-out using various methods represented in different national building Codes of practice

Monitoring of underground subsurface structures in Ekaterinburg

    Get PDF
This paper presents the issues of technical state of subsurface structures in operation and the erection of buildings under available development. It is stated that detailed monitoring of technical state of underground tunnels is essential, since the structure is unique and technologically complex. The aspects of geotechnical monitoring of underground tunnels are considered. The principles of geodesic monitoring of underground rings, tension increase in tube lining and pressure from the building under construction on the ground are described. Recommendations for underground tunnel monitoring are presented

Application of BIM technology for surveying heritage buildings

    Get PDF
The preservation of heritage buildings is beyond doubt an important problem of today. The examination of a heritage building involves a number of problems, viz. missing design documentation, the need to find extant reports about technical condition of the building structures and building reconstruction projects prepared by different organizations, and nonconformance of data contained in drawings and documents of different organizations. In this paper the abovementioned problems are reviewed exemplified by the case of the federal heritage-listed building "Ekaterinburg State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre", Yekaterinburg. The paper proposes the use of solutions based on information modeling methods for the examination of structures of the abovementioned building and reviews the possibility of employing these methods for upkeeping the building. The article demonstrates the practical value of the proposed application of a BIM model method comprising the building reconstruction stages for the structure survey on a specific example. The method proposed in the paper has a great practical value and can be employed for the improvement of normative and technical documentation, heritage building survey works, and for creating design documentation for restoration of buildings

DEVELOPMENT OF RECONSTRUCTION PROJECTS OF SCHOOLS IN A DENSE URBAN AREAS

    Get PDF
The paper presents several projects of schools in Ekaterinburg with description and analysis of emerging problems in dense urban areas. This topic was presented in the framework of the international forum "100+ Technobuild" in the section "Schools of modern cities". Presently, Russia is implementing a large-scale program for the construction of new schools and the reconstruction of existing ones. In recent years, not just school buildings have been built, but a rethinking of the educational space is taking place, which is flexible. Such trends lead to the fact that a school building should become capable of changes and transformations, comfortable and multifunctional

Improving the university鈥檚 information and educational environment in the context of the country's economy digitalization

    Get PDF
The article analyzes the existing approaches to the definition of the information educational environment (IEE) of the university. It is shown that the variety of IEE interpretations depends on technological, organizational, instrumental foundations. When defining IEE, the psychological and pedagogical approach proposed by V.A. Krutetskiy was used, which is based on information interaction. The principles of creating IEE and its goals, depending on the functions of the information system of the university, are considered. The purpose of the article is, based on the analysis of the most common digital technologies, to determine the directions for improving the information and educational environment of the university through research and development of a new distributed educational resource and services for studying and modeling digital technologies used in a particular branch of the digital economy
