    UTILIZING INQUIRY LEARNING MODEL TO ENHANCE STUDENTS’ ACHIEVEMENT AT GRADE VII SMPS CATHOLIC ST. ALOYSIUS WOLOTOPO

    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of implementing inquiry learning model to improve students’ achievement on the material about plant organs at grade VII SMPS  Catholic St. Aloysius Wolotopo. This research was a Classroom Action Research conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 31 students at grade VII SMPS Catholic St. Aloysius Wolotopo for the academic year 2019/2020. Data were obtained from teachers and students. The data were collected through tests and non-tests (observation). Then, the data were analyzed by using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results showed that the implementation of inquiry learning model could improve students’ achievement on the material about plant organs. This was seen from the results of the study finding that the percentage of the learning mastery increased from 61% in cycle I to 100% in cycle II. Besides, the students’ participation in the learning process also increased from 53% in cycle I to 90% in cycle II. Thus, it could be concluded that utilizing inquiry learning model improved the students’ learning achievement at grade VII SMPS Catholic St. Aloysius Wolotopo. This was because inquiry learning model stimulated students to think critically, creatively, and innovatively in order to find and solve a problem by using scientific steps

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penerapan metode demonstrasi pada mata pelajaran IPA materi sistem pencernaan untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan Kabupaten Ende. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: bagaimanakah penerapan metode demonstrasi pada mata pelajaran IPA peserta didik peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan Kabupaten Ende? Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Clasroom Action Research). Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, tes dan dokumentasi. Subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan yang berjumlah 20 orang terdiri dari 7 laki-laki dan 13 perempuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran pada kegiatan pra siklus prestasi belajar peserta didik mencapai ketuntasan sebesar 20% dengan kategori cukup. Sementara kriteria ketuntasan minimum (KKM) yang ditetapkan oleh sekolah adalah 75. Setelah dilakukan tindakan perbaikan dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi pada siklus pertama ketuntasan preastasi belajar peserta didik mencapai 40% dengan kategori cukup, pada siklus kedua prestasi belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan mencapai 100%. Dari penelitian ini dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa dengan menerapkan metode demonstrasi terjadi peningkatan prestasi belajar peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan

    Topographically, Potulando Village is located in the highlands and lowlands and is located in the center of Ende City. The Potulando Village area is a mixed area, namely economic and residential areas. As one of the urban villages located in the middle of the city, the residential area is included in a densely populated area. Narrow yards are left unproductive and unproductive. Home yard land can be used as an effort to meet family food availability through intensification of cultivation of various types of agricultural crops. One of the farming techniques that can be applied to a narrow area is hydroponics. Hydroponics is a method of farming by utilizing water without using soil as a growing medium. The method used in Community Service activities in the group of PKK cadres in the village of Potulando with several methods, namely 1) socialization of narrow land use, good farming methods, and fertilization methods, and 2) training and practice of making hydroponic plants. From the results of this activity, it is expected to increase the knowledge and skills of the community in the use of home yards for farming using hydroponic techniques

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat bimbingan belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan, hasil belajar IPA siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan, dan pengaruh bimbingan belajar terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa di SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian  ini adalah siswa SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan dan sampel penelitian  adalah siswa kelas VII, VIII, dan IX berjumlah 68 orang yang diperoleh dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data yang diperoleh dari sampel penelitian berupa skor bimbingan belajar dan nilai belajar IPA semester I tahun ajaran 2020/2021. Analisis data dilakukan dengan korelasi product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa bimbingan belajar memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan  signifikan dengan  hasil belajar IPA pada siswa kelas VII, VII, dan IX di SMP Negeri 1 Ende Selatan tahun ajaran 2020/2021, yaitu diperoleh nilai rxy= 0.509 dan thitung= 5.589>ttabel=1.667 pada α = 5%

    Learning facility is one important item to support the learning process. This paper discusses the effect of learning facilities on students' motivation at SMP Islam Muthmainnah Ende. The sample of the research involved 46 students in class VII. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research instruments were questionnaires and documentation, which were analyzed by simple linear regression analysis through SPSS version 21. The results indicate that hypothesis Ha was accepted and H0 was rejected because there was an effect of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation which, was indicate a significance value of 0.000. The magnitude of the effect of learning facilities on students’ learning motivation is shown by the coefficient of determination of R2 = 0.310 or 31%

    The purpose of this study was to determine the interaction of the surrounding community with the diversity of plants in the TNK area and to identify the use of plants by the community around TNK. This research was conducted in the Kelimutu National Park area, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province and Waturaka Village in May 2021. The tools used in this study, namely: interview guide (questionnaire), stationery, camera, recorder, calculator, machete/machete, flower scissors, label paper, plastic rope, plastic, a list of respondents' questions, and a computer and its equipment. While the materials used in this study were 70% alcohol, plant samples, bamboo sacks and newsprint. The research subjects are the people of Waturaka Village, Kelimutu District, Ende Regency. The objects in this study are medicinal plants in the Kelimutu National Park area and are cultivated by the community in Waturaka Village. The study used a survey method through observation and identification of plants and the determination of respondents by purposive sampling method totaling 250 people, consisting of 65 men and 185 women. The data obtained were analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The results showed that there were 49 species of medicinal plants from 29 families. Leaves are the most widely used plant parts as medicines. Zingiberaceae family has the highest usage percentage of 85%
