Home & living industry: understanding different shopper missions and optimizing in-store experience

This work project explores the evolving shopper behavior in the Home & Living industry, with a focus on in-store experience. It identifies the main shopper missions in the category, examining their unique characteristics and behaviors through a mixed-method approach of qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey. The study highlights the importance of tailored strategies in assortment, visual merchandising, and store environment. Recommendations are offered for retailers to enhance the in-store experience, addressing the diverse needs of different shopper missions. This research provides valuable insights into shopper behavior and underscores the significance of physical stores in the Home & Living industry

Sward Structure Under Continuous and Rotation Grazing

Sward structure under continuous (CG) and rotational (RG) grazing system was studied at an experimental pasture in the Jizerské hory mountains. Herbage mass and vertical distribution was assessed by cutting ten quadrats (0.1 x 0.5 m) and separated into grass, white clover, dandelion, other forbs and dead material. The proportions of grasses was higher at RG (on average 51% of the pasture mass) than at CG (41%). In the years with normal amount and distribution of precipitation the proportion of white clover was higher at CG (17%) than at RG (9%). The lack of summer precipitation damaged more significantly the clover at CG than at RG and it reduced its proportion also in spring of the following year. The proportion of other dicotyledons was at both RG and CG similar. The average accumulation of the total pasture mass in the sward layer of 0-30 mm reached 45% at RG and 65% at CG. The average rate of dead material in the pasture mass was higher at CG (26%) than at RG (22%). The differences in sward structure did not have significant influence on the heifer production

Legal regulation of liability insurance Abstract This thesis aims to give a comprehensive and logically structured interpretation of the subject of the regulation of liability insurance in private law of the Czech legislation, placing special emphasis on its practical application in the context of the current judicial decision-making practice. Although being one of the most popular insurance products on the Czech insurance market, liability insurance is given relatively little attention in specialized literature with the exception of the specific area of motor vehicle liability insurance. Therefore, this thesis focuses in particular on the general regulation of liability insurance stipulated in Sec. 2861 - 2867 of the Czech Civil Code. In this thesis, liability insurance is considered to be primarily an obligation relationship, with the thesis structure adjusted accordingly: one by one, it discusses the establishment, subjects, object, subject-matter and finally the termination of the legal relation. The main part of the thesis looks at the subject-matter of the liability insurance legal relation with a detailed analysis of the basic rights and obligations of its parties. A separate part of the thesis specifically covers the entitlement of the insured to sue in terms of the procedural implementation: a...Právní úprava pojištění odpovědnosti Abstrakt Cílem této rigorózní práce je podat ucelený a logicky strukturovaný výklad k problematice soukromoprávní úpravy pojištění odpovědnosti v českém právním řádu, a to s důrazem na její praktickou aplikaci v kontextu aktuální rozhodovací praxe soudů. Ačkoliv je pojištění odpovědnosti na českém pojistném trhu jedním z nejfrekventovanějších pojistných produktů, věnuje mu odborná literatura, snad s výjimkou specifické oblasti pojištění odpovědnosti z provozu motorového vozidla, relativně malou pozornost. Tato práce se proto soustředí zejména na obecnou úpravu pojištění odpovědnosti v ust. § 2861 - 2867 občanského zákoníku. Na pojištění odpovědnosti je v této práci nahlíženo především jako na závazkový právní poměr, čemuž je přizpůsobena i struktura práce, která se postupně zaměřuje na vznik, subjekty, objekt, obsah a posléze zánik tohoto právního vztahu. Stěžejní část práce je věnována obsahu právního vztahu pojištění odpovědnosti s podrobným rozborem základních práv a povinností jeho účastníků. Plant regeneration from seedling explants of common bean : Phaseolus vulgaris L.

For shoot induction and plant regeneration in bean we used MS media+BA and NAA. Multiple shoot induction was obtained in case of P. vulgaris cv. Fônix and Maxidor. The efficiency of regeneration from intact seedling (IS) and cotyledonary node (CN) explants was compared. The optimum treatment for the induction of multiple shoot formation was the culturing of (IS) on MS-based media+BA and NAA. Multiple shoot induction on dry bean (CN) cultured on full MS medium+1mg/l BA and 0.1mg/l NAA was feasible. Shoots that were 2cm in length or longer and having 2 trifoliate leaves were responsible for rooting ability, and root development. The method can be applied in transformation experiments
