En este trabajo propongo que aunque la Filología y el historicismo son necesarios para comprender las condiciones de posibilidad de ciertos \ud textos dados en ciertas coordenadas, son, en cambio, insuficientes para responder a otras preguntas cruciales, y, en especial a la pregunta siguiente: ¿por qué \ud sentimos la necesidad de construir nuestra contemporaneidad narrando y \ud estudiando el pasado? Palladium-Catalyzed [5+2] Heteroannulation of Phenethylamides with 1,3-Dienes to Dopaminergic 3-Benzazepines

Sustainable Development and Efficiency Analysis of the Major Urban Water Utilities in Spain

In Spain, the water supply service is a municipal responsibility and in general is a sector without competitors. For this reason, an efficiency analysis attains greater significance. This study uses Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to estimate the efficiency of different urban water utilities. An extensive data search, where several variables such as the capital expenditure, the cost of material, or the labor have been recorded, has allowed evaluating the relative efficiency of the most important Spanish water distribution networks in using their resources. Furthermore, their sustainable efficiency has also been evaluated by including a variable representing the percentage of water losses. Results reveal the weaknesses of inefficient utilities and help to detect potential aspects that these companies should improve. For instance, there is an evident incorrect management of the costs of material by many urban water utilities, which does not happen with the labor. Additionally, the most efficient water utilities regarding the sustainable efficiency help to discover target percentages of water losses for the inefficient ones.Consejería de Economía, Conocimiento, Empresas y Universidad - Junta de Andalucía - European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) PYC20- RE082 US

Procedimientos básicos para la titularización de activos, aplicable a los originadores.

Ante la búsqueda del desarrollo económico y financiero de las empresas de hoy en día, se han creado nuevos mecanismos de financiamiento que sirvan de ayuda para alcanzar su visión de liderazgo y desarrollo. De allí que surge una nueva fuente llamada titularización de activos; la cual no es más que el procedimiento mediante el cual una empresa, llamada originadora, puede transformar sus activos líquidos, susceptibles de titularización, en valores comerciales o títulos valores a través de una sociedad de propósito especial, llamada sociedad titularizadora. De acuerdo a lo anterior, dado que esta opción de financiamiento es nueva en el país, se carece de un documento que detalle de forma ordena y sencilla los procedimientos básicos para la titularización de activos aplicable a las empresas originadoras. Ante tal situación se realizó este trabajo con el objetivo de proponer un documento que reúna dichos procedimientos y ayudar a las empresas originadoras a su implementación. La investigación se desarrolló bajo el enfoque hipotético-deductivo empleando un estudio de tipo analítico explicativo, lo que implicó establecer objetivos de investigación. Para este efecto se procedió a la recopilación de información mediante instrumentos y técnicas de investigación, como el cuestionario estructurado, guía de entrevistas y la clasificación bibliográfica, a fin de registrar los aspectos relevantes del problema y obtener el análisis respectivo de la misma para formular un diagnóstico. El estudio mostró, que la principal causa considerada por la cual la población encuestada desconoce sobre la titularización de activos y su aplicación, es la falta de un documento que contenga los procedimientos básicos para la titularización de activos a ser aplicados por el originador. En consecuencia se sugiere el uso del presente documento, el cual está orientado al desarrollo de los procedimientos básicos aplicables a los originadores en cuanto a aspectos legales, financieros y contables de la titularización de activos, y de este modo fortalecer el conocimiento de las empresas originadoras ante esta nueva alternativa de financiamiento

Enantioenriched alpha-Vinyl 1,4-Benzodiazepines and 1,4-Benzoxazepines via Enantioselective Rhodium-Catalyzed Hydrofunctionalizations of Alkynes and Allenes

Benzofused seven-membered heterocycles such as 1,4-benzo[e]diazepines (1,4-BZDs) and 1,4-benzo[e]oxazepines (1,4-BZOs) were efficiently synthesized by Rh-catalyzed hydrofunctionalization of internal alkynes and allenes in good to excellent yields. The asymmetric hydroamination of (aminomethyl)anilines gave rise to 3-vinyl-1,4-BZDs with excellent enantioselectivities. Correlation between sea surface topography and bathymetry in shallow shelf waters in the Western Mediterranean

In this paper, gravimetric and altimetric data are used to assess an estimation of the sea surface topography in the Western Mediterranean Sea. This is a complex area from different points of view, due to the presence of several islands, coastal lines, shallow waters and a peculiar hydrologic equilibrium due to its proximity to the Atlantic water exchange area. First, a gravimetric geoid was computed using the least-squares collocation (LSC) procedure with the classical remove-restore technique. We also present a local mean sea surface generated from repeat ERS-1 altimeter data fitted to TOPEX. We chose this satellite because it offers a better spatial resolution than the TOPEX data. The time span used in the computations is one year. This is a useful interval for averaging out the regular seasonal variations, which are very large in this area. We present the comparisons between the gravimetric geoidal heights and the adjusted sea surface. This is a way to obtain a rough estimation of the sea surface topography (SST) since we also include the errors in the two surfaces and other oceanic signals. The differences obtained are physically reasonable with a mean of 17 cm and standard deviation (s.d.) of 39 cm. A significant similarity is observed between the features reproduced by these differences and the bathymetry in the area, suggesting some sort of correlation between both magnitudes for the studied region. If we accept such correlation, the SST may be described as a function of depth. This procedure lets us filter out the short wavelength part of the geoid from the first SST estimation
