    ABSTRACTBreast cancer is the disease that many women fear the most. Breast cancer significantly affects the psychological states of the patients, including self-concept. Patients with breast cancer commonly experience a negative self-concept due to the disease and side effects of the treatment. However, problems of self-concept among patients with breast cancer are rarely investigated by nurses. Furthermore, no measurement tool specifically measures the self-concept of breast cancer patients. The purpose of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the self-concept questionnaire. This study used a case study research design to measure the self-concept of breast cancer patients using a newly developed questionnaire, namely the Merlin Breast Cancer Self-Concept Questionnaire. This questionnaire will be tested on breast cancer patients undergoing treatment in the hospital. The result showed a Cronbach’s alpha value of 0.909 for the validity and 0.500-0.790 for the reliability of the instrument. Merlin Breast Cancer Self-Concept Questionnaire was evident to be a valid and reliable instrument to measure self-concept among breast cancer patients. This questionnaire is feasible for use to measure self-concept among breast cancer patients.     The emergency department in a hospital tends to pose a high stress level. This is due to the conditions, i.e., life-threatening condition of patients that often trigger the stress on the nurses. The nurses are required to act immediately and to possess specific skills to provide accurate treatment to the patients. Such a condition signifies the major role of nurses in a hospital. It also demands improvement in the performances of the nurses to conceptualize quality health services. Occupational stress is a term used to refer to depression or emotion, being irritable towards the situation of the workplace, and it is signified by both mental and physical condition of a person. This inevitably affects one’s health as and the spiritual condition. Excessive workload is among the factors causing occupational stress. This study aims at exploring the correlation between workload and occupational stress of nurses in the emergency department of Regional Public Hospital RSUD. Prof. Dr. W. Z. Johannes Kupang. The cross-sectional study involved 40 respondents selected using a total sampling method. The data were analyzed using the Pearson chi-square correlation. It is revealed that the p-value 0.000 is lower than α 0.05, meaning that H0 is rejected and signifying that workload correlates with the occupational stress of the nurses in the research site.

    The Analysis of Relationship Between Achievement Motivation, Self-Efficacy and Students Social Laziness

    For students, social laziness is a major issue. Social lazines is linked to a number of elements, including self-efficacy and success drive. Individuals with a high level of self-efficacy can easily complete the tasks in their work group, thus they do not free ride in their work group. The purpose of this study is to investigate experimentally the link between self-eficacy and success motivation and social lazines in students. This study employs quantitative corelational approaches. This study's population consisted of students of one school in Indonesia. The sampel size for this study was 300 students drawn from eight courses using the custer random selection approach. According to the findings of this study, self-eficacy has a strong partial link with social lazines, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a corelation value of -0.613. Achievemen motivation has a strong partially relationship with social sloth, with a significanc value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a corelation value of -0.623. Self-eficacy and succes drive are strongly asociated with social lazines. Furthermore, the three variables have a significant relationship, with a correlation value of 0.640. As a result, there is a link between students’ self-eficacy, succs motivation, and social lazines

    Penelitian ini menggambarkan dan menganalisis implementasi kurikulum berbasis kompetensi sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Kurikulum berbasis kompetensi telah menjadi pendekatan yang luas digunakan dalam sistem pendidikan modern. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis literatur dan studi kasus untuk menjelajahi konsep dan praktik implementasi kurikulum berbasis kompetensi di berbagai konteks pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis kompetensi berfokus pada pengembangan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia nyata. Melalui penerapan kurikulum berbasis kompetensi, pendidikan menjadi lebih relevan, responsif terhadap perubahan, dan berfokus pada hasil belajar yang dapat diukur dengan jelas. Studi kasus dari berbagai institusi pendidikan juga memberikan contoh konkret tentang bagaimana implementasi kurikulum berbasis kompetensi telah berhasil meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, meningkatkan motivasi siswa, dan mempersiapkan mereka untuk tantangan masa depan. Namun, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi sejumlah tantangan dalam implementasi kurikulum berbasis kompetensi, termasuk kebutuhan untuk pelatihan guru yang mendalam, pengukuran kompetensi yang akurat, dan penyesuaian dengan kebutuhan lokal. Kesimpulannya, implementasi kurikulum berbasis kompetensi memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, tetapi diperlukan dukungan yang kuat dari semua pemangku kepentingan pendidikan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan memastikan keberhasilan penerapan kurikulum ini dalam rangka mencapai pendidikan yang lebih baik dan relevan

    The Influence of Inquiry Learning Model Implementation on Students Critical Thinking Ability in Class Learning Activities

    This study aims to optimize the pedagogic competence of teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year in compiling teaching modules through continuous academic supervision. The research method is school action research. The subjects of this study were teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year, a total of 20 people, 15 general subject teachers and 5 Islamic Religious Education subjects. This research was conducted in two cycles and at the end of each cycle an analysis of the teachers’ ability to make teaching modules and their application in class was carried out. Data collection techniques in this study used observation sheets, documentation and field notes on teachers’ development. The method used in data analysis was a quantitative descriptive analysis method. The results showed that the optimization of the pedagogic competence of teachers in Class X.E MAN 2 Payakumbuh Even Semester 2022/2023 Academic Year in compiling teaching modules through continuous academic supervision has increased. Based on the results of the research and discussion it can be concluded that through the application of continuous academic supervision it can improve the ability of teachers to make teaching modules at MAN 2 Payakumbuh. This can be seen from the increase in their average ability from cycle I to cycle II. The average increase per indicator for the assessment of the making of teaching modules was an increasing from 73.00 quite satisfactory category (C) in cycle I to 88.75 satisfactory category (B+) with an increasing percentage of 21.58%. While the average teachers’ ability to make teaching modules is in the satisfactory category. From 73.54 quite satisfactory (C) in cycle I increased to 90.63 satisfactory category (B+) with an increase percentage of 23.24%.     Jurnal ini membahas peran integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dengan tujuan membentuk etika profesional mahasiswa. Kurikulum Merdeka, sebagai inovasi pendidikan yang menekankan fleksibilitas dan pemberdayaan mahasiswa, telah menjadi landasan penting dalam persiapan mahasiswa untuk tantangan global. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali sejauh mana pendidikan karakter telah diintegrasikan dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dan bagaimana hal tersebut dapat membentuk etika profesional mahasiswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur dan wawancara dengan pengambil kebijakan pendidikan, dosen, dan mahasiswa. Analisis data menyoroti upaya integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam Kurikulum Merdeka dan dampaknya pada perkembangan etika profesional mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pendidikan karakter dalam Kurikulum Merdeka telah memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk etika profesional mahasiswa. Prinsip-prinsip karakter seperti integritas, tanggung jawab, dan kejujuran telah diintegrasikan ke dalam materi pembelajaran dan praktik pembelajaran berbasis proyek. Dosen dan mahasiswa melaporkan peningkatan kesadaran dan penghargaan terhadap etika profesional sebagai hasil dari integrasi ini. Simpulan dari penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya pendidikan karakter dalam mendukung etika profesional mahasiswa dan mendorong pembentukan individu yang bertanggung jawab dan berintegritas dalam dunia kerja.     This study aims to find out about the ongoing process of character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City, as well as the impact of this character education on changes in student behavior. This study uses a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The data analysis technique uses the data analysis model of Miles and Huberman with the processes of data reduction, data validation and data inference. The result of his research is that character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City is going well and students can understand and apply it in everyday life because of the habituation carried out at the Madrasah. The application of character education through a sociological approach by forming study groups to discuss and provide material with the lecture method carried out in the teaching and learning process as well as habits carried out by the Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City. Character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City has had a good impact on student behavior. Judging from the way students carry out the learning process in an orderly manner, sit and tell stories with friends, teachers, and security during recess or empty class hours, as well as students who always try to be on time when attending the midday prayers in congregation at school. Based on the sociological point of view of character education carried out by the Baubau City Aliyah 1 Public Elementary School, it follows the values prevailing in the surrounding community. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that character education carried out by Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Baubau City is going very well and has a good impact on changing student behavior

    The Effectiveness Analysis of Using Angle Puzzle Tools on the Achievement of Students’ Learning Outcomes

    The purpose of this study is to determine whether corner puzzle props are useful in enhancing student learning results. The study was conducted through experimental research using a posttest-only control design. The participants of the study were students, with class A being the experimental group and class B as the control group. The data collection method employed in this study was documentation and testing. The results of the analysis of academic performance using corner puzzle props indicated a significant improvement in the average academic performance of the experimental group, which was 69.83, compared to the control group, which was 62.07. The data was analyzed using a difference test (t test) on the right side. The research on academic performance revealed that the t-count was higher than the t-table. This implies that the average academic performance of students in class A (the experimental group) who were taught using corner puzzle props was greater than or equal to that of students who were not taught using corner puzzle props

    EFEKTIVITAS REHABILITASI RAWAT JALAN TERHADAP KUALITAS HIDUP PENGGUNA NARKOTIKA

    Penyalahgunaan narkotika dapat berdampak negatif pada kualitas hidup. Bagi pengguna narkotika, kualitas hidup merupakan komponen penting, ini berkaitan dengan proses pemulihan. Rehabilitasi rawat jalan merupakan salah satu cara yang dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Kualitas hidup juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang dipertimbangkan dalam rehabilitasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas rehabilitasi rawat jalan terhadap kualitas hidup pengguna narkotika. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif  dengan pendekatan analisis komparatif. Data yang dikumpulkan adalah data klien sebelum dan setelah menyelesaikan 4-8 sesi intervensi rehabilitasi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen WHOQoL-BREF. Jumlah subjek 102 klien dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Analisis data menggunakan SPSS 25. Hasil dari hasil uji paired T-test diperoleh nilai sig. (2-tailed) .000 berarti terdapat perbedaan kualitas hidup pengguna narkotika sebelum dan setelah mengikuti intervensi rehabilitasi rawat jalan. Karena menggunakan data yang sudah ada, terdapat kondisi yang tidak terkontrol, sehingga rehabilitasi tidak bisa dikatakan sebagai satu-satunya faktor yang meningkatkan kualitas hidup. Kesimpulan diperoleh bahwa program rehabilitasi rawat jalan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup klien.Top of For
