Light-shinning-through-thin-wall radio frequency cavities for probing dark photon
We address the radio frequency (RF) cavity experiment for probing dark
photons which is a modification of the light-shining-through-thin-wall
(LSthinW) setup with a relatively thin conducting barrier between cylindrical
emitter and hollow receiver. The regarding experimental facility allows to
probe dark photons effectively even in the off-shell regime, i. e. when dark
photons mass exceeds the driven frequency of the emitter cavity, that is pumped
by electromagnetic mode. We compare the sensitivity of two concrete setup
configurations: two cylindrical cavities placed to each other by an end-caps,
and nested geometry of the cavities in which the cylindrical receiver is
encapsulated into the emitter. We show that for a certain range of dark photon
mass the nested configuration can provide an enhanced sensitivity if one
compares that with a separated emitter setup.Comment: 10 pages, 3 figure
In situ study of the temperature stability of TiO1.05 titanium monooxide using synchrotron radiation
The temperature stability of cubic TiO1.05 titanium monooxide is investigated. An in situ X-ray structural analysis is performed using synchrotron radiation in a high temperature vacuum chamber. It is found that under poor vacuum and at high heating rates of up to 1250 C, the structural transformations in TiO1.05 occur at 630 C. In particular, there is a phase transition from TiO1.05 (space group Fm-3m) to rhombohedraic Ti2O3 (space group R-3c) via Ti2.5O3 (space group Immm). © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc

This article is devoted to litigation in the field of intellectual rights on scenario works in Russia, as well as to the legislative basis of intellectual property objects. The most important features of the work scenario as an object of copyright are considered. The concept of this is defined, examples of judicial practice in Russia related to the protection of work scenarios are given. The spectrum of civil-law ways of protecting these rights is analyzed in case of their violation or contestation by third parties. The issue of the presence or absence of discretionary powers of courts in determining the amount of compensation for protecting the violated exclusive right to a work scenario is under consideration.Este artículo está dedicado al litigio en el campo de los derechos intelectuales en escenarios de trabajo en Rusia, así como a la base legislativa de los objetos de propiedad intelectual. Se consideran las características más importantes del escenario de trabajo como objeto de derecho de autor. Se define el concepto del trabajo de escenarios, se dan ejemplos de prácticas judiciales en Rusia relacionadas con la protección de las obras de escenarios. El espectro de las formas de protección civil de estos derechos se analiza en caso de violación o impugnación por parte de terceros. Se está considerando la cuestión de la presencia o ausencia de facultades discrecionales de los tribunales para determinar el monto de la indemnización por la protección del derecho exclusivo violado a un trabajo de escenario.Este artigo é dedicado ao litígio no campo dos direitos intelectuais em cenários de trabalho na Rússia, bem como à base legislativa de objetos de propriedade intelectual. As características mais importantes do cenário de trabalho são consideradas objeto de direitos autorais. O conceito de trabalho de cenário é definido, exemplos de práticas judiciais na Rússia relacionadas à proteção de obras de cenário são dadas. O espectro de formas de proteção civil desses direitos é analisado em caso de violação ou objeção de terceiros. A questão da presença ou ausência de poderes discricionários dos tribunais está sendo considerada para determinar o montante da compensação pela proteção do direito exclusivo violado a um trabalho de cenário
CATEGORY OF MODALITY IN ENGLISH AND TATAR PROVERBS: COMPARATIVE ASPECT
Purposes: The article discusses one of the most significant and contradictory categories in linguistics, the category of modality, using the proverbs of two different structural languages like English and Tatar.
Methodology: The basic methods of scientific research are the statistics method, method of comparative and quantities analyses of the data, method of description.
Implications/Applications A systematic study of the complex of multilevel means of expressing the category of modality will help to study the mechanism of action of this category as a functional-semantic subsystem of the language, to determine its essence, volume and boundaries in such different structural languages as English and Tatar.
Results: The results of the study allow us to conclude that the representation of the category of modality is similar in languages of different structures, which may become the basis for assuming the similarity of semantic processes in both languages.
Novelty: The problem of determining modality is still debatable, and research on how to express it in different languages is relevant. The authors give a classification of the selected proverbs; determine the criteria for comparison, on the basis of which determine the general and various ways of expressing modality in folklore texts
How Relations are Built within a SNS World: Social Network Analysis on Mixi
Our purpose here is to (1) investigate the structure of the personal networks developed on mixi, a Japanese social networking service (SNS), and (2) to consider the governing mechanism which guides participants of a SNS to form an aggregate network. Our findings are as follows:the clustering coefficient of the network is as high as 0.33 while the characteristic path lenght is as low as 5.5. A network among central users (over 300 edges) consist of two cliques, which seems to be very fragile. Community-affiliation network suggests there are several easy-entry communities which later lead users to more high-entry, unique-theme communities. The analysis on connectedness within a community reveals the importance of real-world interaction. Lastly, we depict a probable image of the entire ecology on mixi among users and communities, which contributes broadly to social systems on the Web
Disintegration of microcrystalline Zn2SiO4:Mn phosphor powder
Zn2SiO4:Mn (willemite) nanoparticles ∼30 nm in size have been prepared by disintegrating microcrystalline willemite powder in a planetary ball mill. X-ray diffraction and scanning electron micros-copy characterization showed that ball milling of the Zn2SiO 4:Mn powder for 60 min or a longer time ensured complete disintegration of the microcrystalline material and that the crystal structure of the resultant nanoparticles was identical to that of the parent powder. © 2013 Pleiades Publishing, Ltd

Произведен анализ демографических и социально-экономических показателей, характеризующих основные компоненты человеческого потенциала, с целью определения проблем и возможностей его развития. Информационной базой исследования послужили официальные статистические данные Федеральной службы государственной статистики за 2005–2020 гг. При написании данной работы были использованы эмпирические и теоретические методы исследования, метод сравнения и статистической обработки.The article examines the problems of human development in the Baikal region. The analysis of demographic and socio-economic indicators characterising the main components of human potential was performed in order to identify problems and opportunities for its development. The information base of the study was the official statistical data of the Federal State Statistics Service for 2005-2020. The levels of english language acquisition on the basis of problem-solving and product-oriented tasks in the multiligual social medium

This article is aimed at revealing similarities and distinctions of the native, Russian and foreign languages in the natural multilingual social medium. The main idea in the research of this problem is realization of the problem-project approach to foreign- language education, principles of which a) determine mutual relations between a teacher and a pupil; b) specify content and structure of teaching material; c) optimize the foreign-language education process organization technology. The article presents the comparable and comparative collation of the native, Russian and English languages, cultures and similar language phenomena to be learned by carrying out of problem- solving and product-oriented tasks at linguistic, speech and spiritual-cognitive levels. This contributes to the development of metacompetences of pupils, expands their linguistic horizons and creates a stable basis for the development of linguistic, speech and sociocultural components of communicative competence
Role of structural vacancies in the stabilization of the basic B1 structure in nonstoichiometric titanium monoxide TiO y
The electron structures and formation enthalpies of vacancy-free cubic TiO, vacancy-ordered monoclinic Ti5O5, and vacancy-disordered cubic TiO y have been investigated using DFT+GGA calculations. Ti5O5 was found to be the stablest phase and TiO was found to be the least stable. The reason for the stability of the titanium and oxygen vacancies in the basic B1 structures of Ti5O5 and TiO y has been deduced. The titanium vacancies lead to a decrease in the Fermi energy. Oxygen vacancies cause strengthening in covalent Ti-Ti bonding. © 2013 Allerton Press, Inc
Quality management system's role in operation of retail trade networks
QMS is one of the factors influencing competitiveness of Russian retail companies. Algorithm of complex evaluation is developed to measure retail management efficiency after implementation of the QMS. Approbation of this algorithm was done on factual data on activity of retail companies. Recommendations on how to modify QMS at the companies in question are given. The results of study will allow to improve retail organization and management through changes introduced into processes of managing and managed subsystems
