First observation of γ rays emitted from excited states south-east of Sn 132: The π g9/2-1 âš - νf7/2 multiplet of In83 132
For the first time, the γ decay of excited states has been observed in a nucleus situated in the quadrant south-east of doubly magic Sn132, a region in which experimental information so far is limited to ground-state properties. Six γ rays with energies of 50, 86, 103, 227, 357, and 602 keV were observed following the β-delayed neutron emission from Cd85133, populated in the projectile fission of a U238 beam at the Radioactive Isotope Beam Factory at RIKEN within the EURICA project. The new experimental information is compared to the results of a modern realistic shell-model calculation, the first one in this region very far from stability, focusing in particular on the π0g9/2-1 - ν1f7/2 particle-hole multiplet in In83132. In addition, theoretical estimates based on a scaling of the two-body matrix elements for the πh11/2-1 - νg9/2 analog multiplet in Tl127208, one major proton and one major neutron shell above, are presented. © 2016 American Physical Society
Observation of Anomalous Internal Pair Creation in Be: A Possible Signature of a Light, Neutral Boson
Electron-positron angular correlations were measured for the isovector
magnetic dipole 17.6 MeV state (, ) ground state
(, ) and the isoscalar magnetic dipole 18.15 MeV (,
) state ground state transitions in Be. Significant
deviation from the internal pair creation was observed at large angles in the
angular correlation for the isoscalar transition with a confidence level of . This observation might indicate that, in an intermediate step, a
neutral isoscalar particle with a mass of 16.70 (stat)
(sys) MeV and was created.Comment: 5 pages, 5 figure
A gyógyszer indukálta vérzékeny betegek fogorvosi, szájsebészeti ellátása: a 2015-ös hazai szakmai ajánlás alkalmazása és értékelése
Absztrakt
Bevezetés: A Magyar Arc-, Állcsont- és Szájsebészeti Társaság és
a Magyar Fogorvosok Implantológiai Társasága által 2015-ben elfogadásra került
„A gyógyszer indukálta vérzékeny betegek fogorvosi ellátása” szakmai ajánlás.
Célkitűzés: A szerzők célja volt az ajánlásban leírt
lokális vérzéscsillapítási módszerek hatékonyságának, megbízhatóságának
ellenőrzése. Módszer: Az orális antithromboticus kezelésben
részesülő betegeiknél vizsgálták a fogorvosi, szájsebészeti ellátásukat követő
utóvérzések előfordulását, retrospektív módon. Eredmények: 263,
vérzéssel járó beavatkozás történt (186 betegnél), amelyből 138
K-vitamin-antagonista, 97 thrombocytaaggregáció-gátló és 6, úgynevezett új
típusú orális antikoaguláns kezelésben részesülő betegeknél. Összesen 6 (2,3%)
esetben tapasztaltak utóvérzést az egyórás kontrollnál, míg ügyeletbe 1 beteg
jött vissza utóvérzés miatt (0,5%). Ezzel szemben 86-an jelentkeztek
páciensek vérzéssel járó fogorvosi/szájsebészeti beavatkozásakor, habár a
körzetes fogorvos ellátók sok esetben nincsenek ilyen jellegű ellátásra
felkészülve. Orv. Hetil., 2016, 157(43), 1722–1728.

Abstract
Introduction: In 2015 a new Hungarian guideline was published
regarding dental treatment and management of anticoagulated patients in
agreement of the Hungarian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and
the Dental Implantology Association of Hungarian Dentists. Aim:
The aim of the authors was to evaluate the efficiency and safety of local
hemostatic measures recommended by the guideline in anticoagulated patients.
Method: In these patients, postoperative bleeding episodes
were examined after dental and oral surgical treatments, retrospectively.
Results: Overall 263 bleeding risk cases were treated; 138
patients with vitamin K antagonists, 97 patients with antiplatelet therapy and 6
patients with novel oral anticoagulants. Six patients (2.3%) had minor
postoperative bleeding after the “one hour control”, while one patient needed a
night duty support (0.5%). In contrast, 86 patients who were treated in rural
practices neglecting the guideline attended the night duty with postoperative
bleeding (3 patients treated with vitamin K antagonists, 24 patients taking low
molecular weight heparin, 30 patients receiving antiplatelet therapy and one
patient on novel oral anticoagulant therapy. Conclusions: The
Hungarian guideline can be applied safely, without increasing the risk of
postoperative bleeding, however, rural dental practices are frequently
unprepared for these treatments. Orv. hetil., 2016, 157(43),

μ s isomers of Nd 158,160
The neutron-rich nuclei Nd158,160 have been studied via delayed γ-ray spectroscopy of μs isomeric states at the RIBF facility, RIKEN. These nuclei were produced following the projectile fission of a 345 AMeVU238 beam and delayed γ rays were detected by the EURICA cluster Ge array. The isomeric states have measured half-lives of 339(20) ns and 1.63(21) μs for Nd158 and Nd160, respectively. From the observed γ decays and the systematics of levels in the neighboring Nd isotopes first level schemes were constructed for these nuclei. The isomeric states of Nd158,160 have been assigned spins of (6-) and (4-), with proposed ν5/2[523] - ν7/2[633] and ν1/2[521] - ν7/2[633] configurations, respectively. © 2016 American Physical Society
Shell Evolution towards Ni 78: Low-Lying States in Cu 77
The level structure of the neutron-rich Cu77 nucleus is investigated through β-delayed γ-ray spectroscopy at the Radioactive Isotope Beam Factory of the RIKEN Nishina Center. Ions of Ni77 are produced by in-flight fission, separated and identified in the BigRIPS fragment separator, and implanted in the WAS3ABi silicon detector array, surrounded by Ge cluster detectors of the EURICA array. A large number of excited states in Cu77 are identified for the first time by correlating γ rays with the β decay of Ni77, and a level scheme is constructed by utilizing their coincidence relationships. The good agreement between large-scale Monte Carlo shell model calculations and experimental results allows for the evaluation of the single-particle structure near Ni78 and suggests a single-particle nature for both the 5/21- and 3/21- states in Cu77, leading to doubly magic Ni78. © 2017 American Physical Society
