Pronunciation at the productive level is considered to be the ultimate object of language learners, therefore, it is important for us to investigate pronunciation of the language after we learn it. This study is conducted to find out some difficulties faced by the six year students of SDN. Tanjungrejo VI-VII in English Pronunciation. A test is used to collect data and it is added by some interviews to the teacher. The difficulties are grouped into three categories, vowels, and consonant. We don’t use all of English sounds because it is enough to be taught. The population of this study involved the students in the six year of SDN. Tanjungrejo VI-VII Malang. The total number of them is about 65 that consists of two classes as 6A: 30, 6B: 35. A random sampling procedure was applied to select 25% from the population as the sample, so the total number is 17 students. This study uses test and questionnaire. The result of this study showed that many students still confront many problems to discriminate between sounds. This is due to systems with our language. The sound like me /i:/ and /I/ have the same phonemic in Indonesian language, but it has different phonemic in English, for example, in words (sheep) and (ship). Besides, they must be able to discriminate them if they are produced as both sounds are heard nearly the same. The evaluations of errors on vowels, consonant, and diphthongs made by students at SDN Tanjungrejo VI-VII Malang is 71,29 point, and categories as moderate level

Protected Rabi oscillation induced by natural interactions among physical qubits

For a system composed of nine qubits, we show that natural interactions among the qubits induce the time evolution that can be regarded, at discrete times, as the Rabi oscillation of a logical qubit. Neither fine tuning of the parameters nor switching of the interactions is necessary. Although straightforward application of quantum error correction fails, we propose a protocol by which the logical Rabi oscillation is protected against all single-qubit errors. The present method thus opens a simple and realistic way of protecting the unitary time evolution against noise.Comment: In this revised manuscript, new sections V, VI, VII and new appendices A, B, C have been added to give detailed discussions. 13 pages, 4 figure

Annual report on the implementation of council Regulation (EC) No 812/2004-2010

This report contains the results of the ongoing monitoring programme on the incidental bycatch of cetaceans in Dutch pelagic fisheries in 2010. EU Council Regulation 812/2004 requires observer coverage in ICES areas VI, VII and VIII in the period 1 December – 31 March (fleet segment LND003 and NLD005) and outside this area in all areas year round (fleet segment LND004 and NLD006). In the Dutch situation the monitoring is integrated with the collection of discards data under the EC Data Collection Regulations 1543/2000 and 1639/2001
