Ā© 2016 Kostyunina and Valeeva.Parents of preschool children often encounter a problem of children's fears. Sometimes parents don't pay enough attention to things and events which frighten their children. In future fears can develop into phobias: unsettled childhood fears may shadow adults turning into adult fears and suspicions. Anxiety and fear are essential emotional manifestations of our mental life, as well as pleasure, anger, surprise or sorrow. If fears are understood correctly and their causes are clear, most of them disappear completely. But if they are excessive and persist over time, then it should make parents think about childrenā€™s health, the relations in a family, their own behavior. The paper considers the phenomenon of children fears, the problem of psycho-pedagogical correction of preschool children fears which are caused by age-related peculiarities of development and are of temporary nature. Fears do not only deprive children of psychological comfort, joy of communication, but trigger the development of children's neuroses. Nevertheless, preschool children fears are not the trait of character; they could be overcome by means of some psycho-pedagogical correction measures. The study resulted in the set of conditions of psychological and pedagogical correction: carrying out diagnostics to indentify children's fears; development and introduction of the complex program ā€œSand scattering!ā€ The conducted research allowed to draw the following conclusion: the approved program including various methods, such as art therapy and sandplay therapy, is an effective means of correction of childrenā€™s fears

The coincident Doppler broadening of the positron-electron annihilation radiation has been applied for the identification of vacancies in nano lead sulfide (nano-PbS) powders. The results of the positron annihilation studies on nano-PbS with different particle size are presented. Nano-PbS specimens have been synthesized by the chemical bath deposition in aqueous medium. Independently of the size of nanoparticles (from 12 to 16 nm) the positron lifetime (PLT) for all specimens has been found to be the same and equal to 391Ā±1 ps. Independently of the size of nanoparticles the chemical surrounding of positron annihilation sites identified by coincident Doppler broadening measurements was the same, namely lead (Pb).Canberra;Orte

Ā© 2016 by iSER, International Society of Educational Research. Modern life is constantly creating situations when the rights and value of every individual acquire the dominant role. Many educators understand today that the change in the socio-cultural situation in the country gives rise to the need for such personality traits as autonomy, self-reliance, independence, free will, and active life. This situation causes the change of the whole system of fundamental constants of pedagogy, especially the category of "upbringing". This article considers some aspects of the category ā€œupbringingā€ and its understanding in the context of different cultures of the Western society. The paper analyses the opportunity and the ways of Western educational categories to be translated and be understandable by Russian researchers and educators. The article points out the special role of the interpreter, the necessity of each translated category immersion into the context of culture, way of thinking, and especially the language of the country where it came from. The main methods of the research are systematization, classification, comparative analysis, which allowed to determine the main approaches to defining the notion ā€œupbringingā€ in comparison with the notion ā€œeducationā€. The materials of this article can be useful for the researchers in educational area, for the scholars and students of teachers training institutions in the process of their professional development

This research has been necessitated by the current situation in our society where victim behaviour is developing amongst children and adolescents relating to their changing gender roles. An identification of the causes of the formation of victim behaviour is based on an analysis of the gender characteristics of adolescents. The main research methods used are the Bass-Perry questionnaire and the modified Freiburg Personality Inventory/Form B (FPI-B). This uses a technique of personal orientation study for the identification of the typical forms of respondents' aggressive behaviour and some personality traits. This involves the allocation of four major types of personality orientation (humanistic, egocentric, sociocentric, negativistic). The deformation of gender stereotypes in modern society is reflected in the manifestation of victim behaviour. Level of aggression, as one of the signs of victimisation, is quite high both amongst boys and girls. Adolescents with a negativist personality orientation do not accept themselves or others and they prevail among this category. The research resulted in identifying some features of victim behaviour amongst adolescents of differing genders. No clear gendered features were identified that could be explained as the result of changing gender roles in contemporary society or of masculinisation phenomenon affecting females in particular
