The Issues of Development of a Creative Professional
The article covers the issues of engineering education. The authors take as a premise that the most important quality of an engineer is his/her creativity, therefore the goal of engineering education is to form and develop students’ creativity. This article evaluates the opportunity of developing the creative constituent of engineers’ skills. The authors draw the conclusion about the lack of disciplines that would favor the development of creativity. They focus on the over-disciplinary function of the Philosophical and Methodological Problems of Science and Engineering discipline; the function allows to regard the history and methodology of science as a foundation for development of creative skills that ensure the innovative activity of future engineers

Social goals of students in Serbia
The results of the survey of Serbian students’ preferences of social goals are presented in the paper. The survey was conducted in November 2014 on the population of students of the Serbian State University in Kosovska Mitrovica (UKM) and the University in Belgrade (UB). It is the part of a wider longitudinal research of social attitudes of students in Serbia, conducted by the Faculty of Philosophy in Kosovska Mitrovica (Serbia). Modern philosophy of education
The authors suggest the concept of philosophy of education, which implies that education is focused on building the concept of a creative professional. The paper actualizes problems of methodology of scientific knowledge, ontological and gnoseological thinking alongside with their role in education. It is claimed that understanding of gnoseological thinking that captures the cognitive process as a whole, including methods, resources, procedures, approaches and ability to apply this method within the scope of science in any educational process, is a necessary condition in developing a creatively thinking professional. Thus, in order to implement this objective the paper covers the use of interdisciplinary and abovedisciplinary approaches in education

Digital image processing using parallel computing based on CUDA technology
This article describes expediency of using a graphics processing unit (GPU) in big data processing in the context of digital images processing. It provides a short description of a parallel computing technology and its usage in different areas, definition of the image noise and a brief overview of some noise removal algorithms. It also describes some basic requirements that should be met by certain noise removal algorithm in the projection to computer tomography. It provides comparison of the performance with and without using GPU as well as with different percentage of using CPU and GPU
Dielectric response function PdHx system
The calculations of electron structure of pure Pd and PdHx (x=1,2,3) system have been made ab initio in the range of local density approximation. Total energy of PdHx system has been calculated for the cases of different coordination of hydrogen atom (oct-and tetrahedral), the conclusion on their most probable location in metal lattice has been made. In the approximation of constant matrix element the imaginary part of permittivity constant function ?2(?) has been calculated. It was stated that dissolution of hydrogen in palladium increases values of the function ?2(?) in the investigated range of energies from 2 to 24 eV. Therefore in the case of radiation impact on PdHx system one can expect intensive excitement of the crystal electron subsystem, and, hence, decrease of potential barriers for hydrogen atom movement

New evidence of the nonglaciated development of the northern part of the Western Siberian lowland in the Quaternary period
To solve the controversially debated problem related to the areal extent of the ice sheet in Western Siberia in the Quaternary period, we have studied the development of cold born objects of this area estimating the relationships between them in terms of cryogenic diversity. We have obtained a field of new cross data related to the development of cryogenic and glacial phenomena, their relationship, and traces they left. The research showed that, in this area, the trend of rock freezing is clearly reflected in the Quaternary formations, but there were no conditions for ice sheet development even during the cryochrons
