    The plate archive of the Sternberg Astronomical Institute

Observations were made with sept telescopes in Moscou and Crimea. In total, until 2004, almost 60 000 photographic plates have been accumulated. Most of them have been made to study variable stars and galaxies. Only the 9 000 from 60 000 photographic plates were made to determine the coordinates of Mars, Venus and selected asteroids. These photographic plates are processed. Some of obtained results are published. These 9 000 plates may be the subject of a new processing with the new star catalogs after they are scanned. This work can be undertaken if there is interest in new astrometric data with a modest accuracy for Mars, Venus, and selected asteroids. This year, work has begun to search for objects of the solar system in other 51 000 photographic plates made to study variable stars and galaxies. The main interest was in finding the planets with natural satellites. For given moments of exposure and the coordinates of the field center using a relevant software, we determine the presence of planets on each plate. A significant problem is that most of plates are identified only by the name of the galaxy or star. Our problem is also that only for 25 000 plates we have the moments and the coordinates recorded in the files. For the remaining 26 000 plates these data are still noted on paper. Of the 25 000 examined plates only on 340 of them the planets were found. We should also identify and write to file such data for 26,000 plates to search for planets with our software. For half of the 51 000 plates expected astrometric accuracy is of about 0.2 arcseconds and for other plates the accuracy is not better than 1 arcsecond of arc. About 1 700 photographic plates were scanned for photometric purposes. However astrometric accuracy of the scan does not match the possible accuracy of photographic plates

    A social portrait of the Russian trainer

    The purposes of this paper are to survey Russian trainers to create a social portrait of the professional group and to identify features, which could be arranged as a foothold for transforming this group to a new level given the demands of the modern economy. This study integrates the use of quantitative and qualitative social research strategies to obtain, aggregate, and analyze data characterizing the professional group of trainers in the Russian vocational education and training (VET) system. The basic research was provided by questionnaires in all federal districts (as recognized by international law) of the Russian Federation. The quantitative poll of trainers was conducted by representative two-level sampling. A number of tables and charts provide a social portrait of the Russian trainer. The statistical data reveal the current level of trainers’ education as well as their length of service, distribution of vocations, and other significant features. The overall conclusion from these findings indicates that a typical representative of this professional group is a woman of average or slightly advanced age with a family, who has a VET or higher education, has served as a training officer for not less than 10 years, and who has either been recruited as a highly skilled worker or as a specialist. A typical representative feels the need to change something in the life and teaching of the young people that she knows. The research into trainers as a professional group was conducted first because of their uniformity, and secondly, their typicality as a pedagogical group. In many respects, the main characteristics of the social portrait are similar to characteristics of other professional groups in the Russian education system, such as secondary and post-secondary school teachers, and VET teachers. The study is based on one country. It is the first and only survey of its type in the Russian Federation. The paper provides a unique analysis of the situation with trainers in the VET system of the Russian Federation. © 2016 Kopnov et al

    The device for monitoring the insulation breakdown zone of power cable lines in distribution networks with isolated neutral system during high-voltage diagnostic

    The article considers an electrical device designed for diagnostic work in distribution networks of 6-10 kV, namely, the determination of damage zones in case of failure of insulating materials of cable lines during high-voltage diagnostics with a rectified voltage of negative polarity. The novelty of the developed device is its ability to connect directly to a high-voltage cable line without additional matching devices. The device is capable of detecting damage zones in lines up to 10 km remotely with an error of up to 0.2% of the cable length. The prefix allows you to fix any variants of damage to single-phase and three-phase cable lines with high transient resistance at the site of damage without the operation of “burning” insulation, which significantly reduces the time of repair work at the controlled facility

    Приведены результаты исследования, цель которого – выявление готовности региональных бизнесов к развитию в бизнес-экосистемных форматах как драйверов перехода в новый технологический уклад в условиях цифровой трансформации. Дано описание формирующихся характеристик бизнес-экосистем. На основе авторских подходов исследуется соответствие региональных бизнесов и их взаимодействий базовым характеристикам бизнес-экосистем. Показано, что основные массовые бизнесы Красноярского края соответствуют или в основном соответствуют базовым критериям, что позволяет авторам утверждать наличие готовности бизнесов исследуемого региона к развитию в экосистемных форматах. Выделены цели бизнесов на этапе развития кооперационно-сетевых, кластерных взаимодействий и перехода бизнес-среды в новый постиндустриальный бизнес-экосистемный формат. Определена необходимость формирования консолидированных производственно-сбытовых платформенно-цифровых комплексов как драйверов достижения качественных результатов и устойчивости регионального развитияThe results of the study are presented, the purpose of which is to identify the readiness of regional businesses to develop in business ecosystem formats as drivers of transition to a new technological order in the conditions of digital transformation. The description of the emerging characteristics of business ecosystems is given. Based on the author’s approaches, the correspondence of regional businesses and their interactions to the basic characteristics of business ecosystems is investigated. It is shown that the main mass businesses of the Krasnoyarsk Territory meet or mostly meet the basic criteria, which allows the authors to assert that the businesses of the studied region are ready to develop in ecosystem formats.     Long-range exciton transport in brightly fluorescent furan/phenylene co-oligomer crystals

    The design of light-emitting crystalline organic semiconductors for optoelectronic applications requires a thorough understanding of the singlet exciton transport process. In this study, we show that the singlet exciton diffusion length in a promising semiconductor crystal based on furan/phenylene co-oligomers is 24 nm. To achieve this, we employed the photoluminescence quenching technique using a specially synthesized quencher, which is a long furan/phenylene co-oligomer that was facilely implanted into the host crystal lattice. Extensive Monte-Carlo simulations, exciton-exciton annihilation experiments and numerical modelling fully supported our findings. We further demonstrated the high potential of the furan/phenylene co-oligomer crystals for light-emitting applications by fabricating solution-processed organic light emitting transistors
