    Get PDF
The basis of the successful sustainable development of the country is based on the design and development of the principles of sustainable development by the largest companies. The issue of searching for options for changing and improving the mechanism for sustainable development of oil and gas companies  and the development of their methodological and legal support is acute on the agenda of the management of the companies themselves, as well as in the framework of research at the state level. In connection with the growing geopolitical threats, the increasing pressure of oil-producing countries on pricing and production levels, participation in the development of the Arctic shelf, as well as the internal problems of the Russian Federation and the companies themselves, which are strategically important in the country’s economy, the necessity and need for the development and improvement of the sustainable development mechanism are relevant and justified. Purpose of the study – to determine the place occupied by oil and gas companies among other industries of the Russian Federation in the field of sustainable development and the level of disclosure of their financial and non-financial statements. Research objectives; to analyze the results of the reports of the main rating agencies of the Russian Federation; to identify bottlenecks – strengths and weaknesses of oil and gas companies. Consider the possibility of improving the sustainable development mechanism. Research results are as follows. Based on the analysis of the existing theoretical framework in the field of sustainable development , as well as the results of the main national ratings, bottlenecks were identified in the publication of oil and gas companies reports. A variant of improving the mechanism of sustainable development of the functioning of oil and gas companies is proposed

It is impossible to imagine modern medical practice without antibiotic therapy. However, the rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry expands free access of the population to antibacterial drugs. At the same time, the illiteracy of people with respect to the principles of rational antibiotic therapy also increases. The problem of microbial resistance to antibacterial drugs remains relevant to this day. Special attention should be paid to rational antibiotic therapy applied to children. The purpose of this work was to study the resistance of hemolytic microorganisms, which are often the cause of upper respiratory infection in preschool children, to the main antibacterial drugs used in pediatric practice. The results of this scientific research can be advisory and useful to pediatricians and other specialists whose professional activities are related to children’s health. Keywords: hemolytic active microorganisms, bacterial carriage, antibiotic resistance, children’s healt

Our aim was to evaluate diagnostic and pathogenetic significance of plasma cytokines (IL-20, IL-23, IL-10, TNFα, IFNγ) in the patients with various clinical and histological variants of sclerotic lichen and to assess opportunity for their use as effectiveness criteria of immunotherapy for this disease using a drug based on eukaryotic deoxyribonucleic acid (Derinat). The prospective cohort study included assessment of the clinical manifestations (itching and dyspareunia) and measurement of blood cytokine contents (IL-20, IL-23, IL-10, TNFα, IFNγ) in women (n = 114) with various clinical variants of sclerotic lichen (atrophic, sclerotic and sclerotic-atrophic) before and after immunotherapy with a nucleic acid-based drug (Derinat). Derinat was chosen due to the fact of being an agonist of Toll-like receptors, and a number of immunoregulatory effects, including the ability to modulate cytokine production and to exert a positive influence upon regeneration processes. In addition, based on visual inspection, vulvoscopy and morphohistochemical examination results (evaluation criteria: skin thickness, number of collagen fibers, severity of fibrosis and sclerosis, etc.), the corresponding subgroups were classified within the II group, i.e., 2.1 (minimal sclerotic signs, n = 14), and 2.2 (pronounced sclerotic signs, n = 20). The control group consisted of conditionally healthy women, without history or presence of vulvar pathology (n = 30), with an age ranging from 20 to 50 years. Along with cytokine assessment by enzyme immunoassay, the study used the data of clinical examination (anamnesis collection, examination, palpation, vulvoscopy), as well as complex morphohistochemical evaluation of vulvar tissues. In atrophic variant, we have observed an increase in plasma IL-23 content, along with decreased TNFα; in lichen sclerosis, a maximal increase in IL-20, IL-23, and IFNγ was revealed; in sclerotic form of sclerotic lichen variant with severe sclerotic features, maximally enhanced IL-20, IL-23, TNFα, IFNγ, along with minimal levels of IL-10 was registered, as compared with other groups. Immunotherapy using Derinate resulted into significant reduction in the clinical manifestations in sclerotic lichen, i.e., itching of the vulva and dyspareunia, as well as normalization of cytokine indexes. Our studies have demonstrated an opportunity of using plasma concentrations of IL-20, IL-23, IL-10, TNFα, IFNγ as biomarkers of sclerotic lichen variants, and as laboratory criteria for efficiency of immunotherapy

Biogeochemical sampling of the aboveground part of meadowsweet (Fillipendula Ulmaria (L). Maxim) allowed us to study ecological and geochemical features of 10 regions in Kemerovo Oblast, including both natural and man-made landscapes. The content of 55 elements in the plant is determined by ICP-MS. Statistical analysis of the results allowed us to establish the effect of the soil mineral composition and the mining region specificity on the elemental composition of meadowsweet, to reveal significant positive correlations of the elements and to establish a statistically significant difference in the studied areas on the basis of the content of some elements. Sample reference to one of the clusters, followed by an assessment of their geochemical features is determined by the K-average method

Numerous researches show that data on an ethnic origin can give additional information for the personified approach in treatment of different diseases. The aim of this study was to evaluate the level of some lipid peroxidation components and antioxidant defense system in Mongoloid and Caucasian patients with Type 1 diabetes mellitus. Conjugated dienes, ketodienes and conjugated trienes, thiobarbituric acid reactants, total antioxidant activity, α-tocopherol, retinol, superoxide dismutase activity, reduced and oxidized glutathione, and oxidative stress coefficient levels were evaluated in 65 patients with type 1 diabetes (38 Mongoloids and 27 Caucasians) and in 82 healthy people (42 Mongoloids and 40 Caucasians). Spectrophotometric and fluorometric methods were used. The intensity of LPO in Mongoloid patients was lower than in Caucasians: the level of primary and intermediate products was by lower 1.53 and 1.83 times, while total antioxidant activity was elevated by 1.44 times, and decreased α-tocopherol level by 1.32 times, which was also supported by oxidative stress coefficient (1.35 in Mongoloids and 2.32 in Caucasians). Activity of the POL-AOD system in Mongoloids is low, which is probably due to the increase of antioxidant defense system work. These results are consistent with clinical characteristics of type 1 diabetes mellitus with infrequent development of complications in Mongoloids living in Eastern Siberia

Localization of the Arctic mining projects: Norwegian and Russian experience

Localization is regarded as a milestone of economic and social development at national and regional levels since it may contribute to the growth of production capacity. Following the potential of localization, governments of various mining countries resort to such strategic solution aiming to boost the growth of remoted areas such as the Arctic region. However, the implementation of localization strategies, assessment methodology and intermediate consequences vary significantly. Thus, the theoretical underpinnings of localization regarding generation of ripple effects and analysis of current implications are essential are the basis of our research question. Norwegian localization experience is considered as the most successful, while Russian attempts to create local content in the Arctic are frequently criticized. Therefore, we focused on the comparative analysis of Norwegian and Russian localization experience. The study comprises examination of both national and regional levels aiming to reveal key components of success and potential burdens. On national level, the research addresses macroeconomic Input-Output model focused on assessing the cumulative impact and potential of mining industry. On regional level, we conducted analysis of the key socio-economic indicators affected mostly by mining activities as well as their localization. In this regard, we used available statistical microdata. Given the results, the success of localization in remoted regions is determined by intensification of inter-regional links and implementation of the governmental approach towards mining projects focusing on upstream and downstream industries. At the same time, narrow governmental regulation leads to leakage of potential benefits. The research results may contribute to increase of knowledge on localization and ripple effects dynamic. Moreover, they may be considered while developing localization solutions for the Arctic projects. 1 © Kolesnikova D. M., Noshchenko O. V., Kryukov V. A. Text. 2019
