    Estimation of the Overall Tax Burden on the Economy in Ukraine

    The estimation of the tax burden is important, since, on the one hand, its results reflect the tax system efficiency, and, on the other hands, the level of income redistribution in the national economy. The estimation of the general tax burden level on the national economy of Ukraine should be realized through the development of forecast scenarios, based on economic and mathematical modelling. The economists have not yet sufficiently worked out the problems of the predictive assessment of the tax system efficiency through the introduction of a scenario approach, economic-mathematical modelling and extrapolation of dynamics series. It is necessary to evaluate and to develop scenarios for forecasting the level of the overall tax burden on the national economy of Ukraine. The modelling of the influence of GDP dynamics on the volume of tax revenues and a unified social tax is implemented. The method of calculating the level of the overall tax burden on the national economy is proposed. The scenarios for forecasting the total tax burden on the Ukrainian economy have been developed. It is proved that in Ukraine, by the end of 2017, one third of the revenues in the national economy is redistributed through the fiscal system, while in 2004 the tax burden made only a quarter of GDP. Thus, it is established, that over the next 5 years, the overall tax burden on the national economy will increase (growth may range from +0.9 to +4 %)

    Radiative nonrecoil nuclear finite size corrections of order α(Zα)5\alpha(Z \alpha)^5 to the Lamb shift in light muonic atoms

    On the basis of quasipotential method in quantum electrodynamics we calculate nuclear finite size radiative corrections of order α(Zα)5\alpha(Z \alpha)^5 to the Lamb shift in muonic hydrogen and helium. To construct the interaction potential of particles, which gives the necessary contributions to the energy spectrum, we use the method of projection operators to states with a definite spin. Separate analytic expressions for the contributions of the muon self-energy, the muon vertex operator and the amplitude with spanning photon are obtained. We present also numerical results for these contributions using modern experimental data on the electromagnetic form factors of light nuclei.Comment: 8 pages, 1 Figur

    Hyperfine structure of S-states in muonic deuterium

    On the basis of quasipotential method in quantum electrodynamics we calculate corrections of order α5\alpha^5 and α6\alpha^6 to hyperfine structure of S-wave energy levels of muonic deuterium. Relativistic corrections, effects of vacuum polarization in first, second and third orders of perturbation theory, nuclear structure and recoil corrections are taken into account. The obtained numerical values of hyperfine splitting ΔEhfs(1S)=50.2814\Delta E^{hfs}(1S)=50.2814 meV (1S state) and ΔEhfs(2S)=6.2804\Delta E^{hfs}(2S)=6.2804 meV (2S state) represent reliable estimate for a comparison with forthcoming experimental data of CREMA collaboration. The hyperfine structure interval Δ12=8ΔEhfs(2S)−ΔEhfs(1S)=−0.0379\Delta_{12}=8\Delta E^{hfs}(2S)-\Delta E^{hfs}(1S)=-0.0379 meV can be used for precision check of quantum electrodynamics predictions for muonic deterium.Comment: 18 pages, 7 figure

    Public and private partnership and business actors in political processes concerning military issues

    Purpose: The article researches the actual issues of developing partnership and cooperation between the state and private business in matters of production and modernization the military-industrial complex of Russia. The main object of the research is the Russian NAVY. The subject of the research is the comparison of the Russian and US NAVY modernization in the context of public and private partnership. Design/Methodology/Approach: The authors used a wide range of methodological tools in the course of the study. The method of economic analysis, the method of structural analysis, the statistical method and the method of mathematical comparison were used. Findings. Studying the role of business actors in the national rearmament programmes in Russia the authors revealed such key indicators as economic viability and financial efficiency of programme implementation. A comparative analysis of budget and private funding of the similar US programme was conducted and statistical data supporting the main findings of the study were introduced. Practical Implications: The development of cooperation between business and the MIC at the state level should go along the path of creating conditions for public-private partnerships (PPPs) - a set of organizational, legal, financial and economic relations and joint actions of the state and private business aimed at achieving the goals of the state economic policy in order to address socially significant tasks on mutually beneficial conditions. Originality/Value: The authors’ conclusion that state’s financial and economic policy in the field of defense and modernization of the domestic defense industry has all chances to become the locomotive of the country’s industrial, scientific and technological development gives new horizons for discussing the most appropriate rearmament strategy.peer-reviewe

    Proton polarizability effect in the hyperfine splitting of the hydrogen atom

    The contribution of the proton polarizability to the ground state hyperfine splitting in the hydrogen atom is evaluated on the basis of isobar model and evolution equations for the parton distributions. The contributions of the Born terms, vector meson exchanges and nucleon resonances are taken into account in the construction of the proton polarized structure functions g1,2(W,Q2)g_{1,2}(W,Q^2). Numerical values of this effect are equal (2.2±0.8)×10−6(2.2\pm 0.8)\times 10^{-6} times the Fermi splitting in electronic hydrogen and (4.70±1.04)×10−4(4.70\pm 1.04)\times 10^{-4} times the Fermi splitting in muonic hydrogen.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figure

    The correction of hadronic nucleus polarizability to hyperfine structure of light muonic atoms

    The calculation of hadronic polarizability contribution of the nucleus to hyperfine structure of muonic hydrogen and helium is carried out within the unitary isobar model and experimental data on the polarized structure functions of deep inelastic lepton-proton and lepton-deuteron scattering.
