The quality of service of any network has higher dependency at throughput, latency and service completion strategies. In modern communication systems, there are many loopholes, which could be used by some malicious users to perform various network attacks so that the performance of the network is degraded. There are many denial of service when an approach has been discussed towards the problem of network threats, but still suffers the quality of denial of service attack detection. Propose a service-constrained approach learns the network traffic in various ways like the traffic incurred within the network and that comes from external network. The method uses various features like hop count, hop details, payload, TTl, time and so on. To maintain a rule set with fuzzy value where each rule specifies the feature of genuine packet being received. The incoming packet has to meet any of the rules and the attribute of the packet has to lie between the ranges of values in the rule. The proposed method estimates the inter traffic and intra traffic through the routes of the packet being transferred to identify the genuine nature of the packet being received. In addition, the method maintains set of logs where the packet features are stored to compute the legitimate weight of each packet being received. Based on compute inter and intra traffic values the received packets trustworthy is computed to allow or deny the packet. The proposed method increases the accuracy of DDOS attack detection and helps to improve the performance of the network. DOI: 10.17762/ijritcc2321-8169.15085

MULTI POSITIONAL TRACK AND MULTI MANAGEMENT IP TRACEBACK USING ANGLE BASED RECKONING SAMPLING PROCESS (ARSP)

DistributedDenial of Service (DDoS) is a major issue for the availability of internetservices. The vast number of insecure machines available in the Internetprovides a fertile ground for attackers to compromise them and create attackzombies. Attack , mitigation and traceback of perpetrators is extremelydifficult due to a large number of attacking machines, the use ofsource-address spoofing or modifying IP address and the similarity betweenlegitimate and attack traffic.  IPtraceback has been proposed where one attempts to reconstruct the entire attackpath, the attack packets have traversed or focusing only on the source ofattack packets, no matter which path they take for assault. IP Traceback (IPT)based on the geographical information, rather than the traditional IP addressinformation, has come to vogue.                         In this paper Multipositional view and Multi management IP Traceback mechanism for defense againstDistributed Denial of Service attacks”, has been addressed. This paper proposesa Multi dimensional representation with d(n) directions, where d(n) is theneighborhood direction ratio set generating function using the Angle basedReckoning Process (ARP) and also mitigates the  Impossibilityof ensuring adequate space in the packet header during its flight, by the Anglebased Reckoning Sampling Process. To demonstrate the entire process and analyticallysimulate that the proposed mechanism react quickly blocking attack trafficwhile achieving high survival ratio for legitimate traffic

Abstract: Bauhinia purpurea is a flowering plant. Several species of this plant are known to possess pharmacological activities. It is a less explored plant, but it possesses phytoconstituents such as flavonoids which are purported to exhibit wide pharmacological activities. In the present study the ethanol extract of unripe pods and leaves of Bauhinia purpurea was evaluated for antihyperlipidemic activity in cholesterol high fat diet (CHFD) induced hyperlipidemia. Hyperlipidemia was induced by giving high cholesterol diet in standard rat chow diet for thirty days. The groups of rats selected for the study were treated with atorvastatin, ethanol extract of unripe pods and ethanol extract of leaves daily for the whole period. Changes in body weight and the analysis of serum lipids were carried out at the end of the study. There was a marked decrease in body weight, total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides (TG), low density lipoprotein (LDL) and very low density lipoprotein (VLDL) levels. Also there was a significant increase in high density lipoprotein levels after the treatment with Bauhinia purpurea extracts. Ethanol extract of leaves showed a marked effect over body weight reduction and also had a significant effect on the lipoprotein profile. There is a lowered atherogenic index, TC: HDL-c and LDL: HDL-c ratios in the extract treated groups. The present work indicated that Bauhinia purpurea extracts significantly suppressed the CHFD induced hyperlipidemia in rats, suggesting the antihyperlipidemic and antiatherogenic potential of the extracts. Further studies are needed to characterize the phytoconstituents responsible for the study

Agents which can either trigger proliferation of β-cells or induce neogenesis of β-cells from precursors would be of pivotal role in reversing diabetic manifestations. We examined the role of flavonoid rich fraction (FRF) of Oreocnide integrifolia leaves using a mice model of experimental regeneration. BALB/c mice were subjected to ~70% pancreatectomy (Px) and supplemented with FRF for 7, 14, and 21 days after pancreatectomy. Px animals displayed increased blood glucose levels and decreased insulin titres which were ameliorated by FRF supplementation. FRF-treated mice demonstrated prominent newly formed islets budding off from ducts and depicting increased BrdU incorporation. Additionally, transcripts levels of Ins1/2, Reg-3α/γ, Ngn-3, and Pdx-1 were upregulated during the initial 1 week. The present study provides evidence of a nutraceutical contributing to islet neogenesis from ductal cells as the mode of β-cell regeneration and a potential therapeutic for clinical trials in management of diabetic manifestations
