First experience in operating the population of the condition databases for the CMS experiment

Reliable population of the condition databases is critical for the correct operation of the online selection as well as of the offline reconstruction and analysis of data. We will describe here the system put in place in the CMS experiment to populate the database and make condition data promptly available both online for the high-level trigger and offline for reconstruction. The system, designed for high flexibility to cope with very different data sources, uses POOL-ORA technology in order to store data in an object format that best matches the object oriented paradigm for \texttt{C++} programming language used in the CMS offline software. In order to ensure consistency among the various subdetectors, a dedicated package, PopCon (Populator of Condition Objects), is used to store data online. The data are then automatically streamed to the offline database hence immediately accessible offline worldwide. This mechanism was intensively used during 2008 in the test-runs with cosmic rays. <原著>失調症患者における物品使用パターンの分析

失調症患者6名について, ビデオカメラによる観察分析法を用い, 物品使用のパターン分析を行った。静的把持パターンの分析は, 鎌倉の報告による健常者のデーターとの比較を行った。動的使用パターンの分析は, 肩関節, 肘関節, 手関節の動き及び動揺の状態, 手指の動き, 上肢の接地面, 物品使用の実用性について行ない, 対照群と比較した。その結果, 失調症患者は, 静的把持パターンでは, 握力把握を必要としない把握場面で握力把握を同時に出現させるケースが多く見られた。一方, 動的使用パターンの分析では, 患者は健常者と比べ, 肩関節の動きが少なく, 手指の動きは2次元的であり, 上肢の接地面は多く, さらに関節の動揺は, 手関節, 肘関節の順で多いことが認められた。この研究で失調症患者が物品使用するのために自助具の使用等を含めた手段が検討された。A pattern analysis of tools used was conducted in six patients with ataxia through observations by using a video camera. The analysis results of static grasp pattern were compared with the data for normal subjects reported by Kamakura. Mobile use patterns were analyzed for movement and trembling conditions of the shoulder joint, elbow joint, and hand joints ; finger movement ; contact surface of the upper extremities ; and practicability of tools used. The results were compared with those of the controls. Some patients with ataxia showed use of grasping power when it was not necessary. On the other hand, the analysis of mobile use patterns revealed that the patients had less movement of the shoulders than that of normal subjects and had two-dimensional movement of fingers. The contact surface of the upper extremities was larger in the patients. Joint tremblings were found large in the order of the hand joint and the elbow joint. 児童期までの食事経験がその後の家族関係に及ぼす影響について : 家族イメージ法を用いて

本研究は、大学生の児童期までの食事経験が現在の家族関係にどのような影響を及ぼすのかを検討する目的で行われた。食事経験に関する項目として「大学生が認知した過去の食事場面の状況に関する項目」、現在の家族関係に関する尺度として「家族機能測定尺度」、「家族イメージ法」を用いて、大学生199名を対象に実施した。「大学生の認知した過去の食事場面の項目」を因子分析した結果、「料理への配慮」、「料理の簡便性」、「相互交流」、「雰囲気のよさ」、「しつけ・マナー」の5因子が抽出された。また、家族機能測定尺度の因子分析の結果、「凝集性」、「適応性」の2因子が抽出された。重回帰分析の結果、「凝集性」、「適応性」にはともに「雰囲気のよさ」、「相互交流」において有意差がみられた。また、「子の濃さ」、「母子の結びつきの強さ」、「父子の結びつきの強さ」は「雰囲気のよさ」に有意差がみられた。先行研究の報告と同様に、過去の家族との食事の「雰囲気のよさ」は改めて重要であることが確認された。食事場面では、単なる会話だけをする場ではなく雰囲気を楽しむことが大切である。しかし、この雰囲気のよさは一体何に規定されるのかは明らかにすることが今後の課題として挙げられた

精神分析的コラージュ理解の試み

本研究は、コラージュ継続製作における内的な自我の動きを読み取ることを精神分析的に行うことを目的とした。ディサービスを利用する高齢者を対象に2週間に1回、全12回のコラージュ継続製作を実施し、その作品と製作後に個別に生育暦や、現在の生活状況などについてのインタビューを行い、精神分析のオリエンテーションを持つ精神科医らと合評会を実施した。その結果、コラージ、ュを作成する過程に、自我の動きが見られ、生育暦などから利用者の全体像を見出し、これらの知見で、コラージュ完成作品の過程を見ていくことで、よりクライエントとのイメージの世界や内的体験に沿った理解に役立ったと思われる

Doing research with children and young people who do not use speech for communication

Despite emphasis in policy on participation of disabled children, we still know relatively little about how to obtain the views of disabled children with significant communication impairment and their views are often overlooked in planning and service provision. This article describes how the views of children who do not use speech were accessed in research aiming to identify disabled children and young people's priorities regarding outcomes of social care and support services.
