Innovation and internationalization of businesses

Diplomová práce se zabývá inovačními modely, aktuálními trendy a jejich vzájemným propojením s procesem internacionalizace. Cílem práce je popsání a vyhodnocení inovačních a internacionalizačních aktivit vybraného podniku ve vzájemné souvislosti následované postřehy a doporučeními ze strany autora.V první části se práce sestává z teoretického popisu procesu inovace od prvotní myšlenky až po konečnou implementaci pomocí popsaných inovačních modelů. Dále jsou popsány aktuální inovační trendy s důrazem na automobilový průmysl, ve kterém vybraná společnost působí. V další části jsou popsány formy internacionalizace a její využití v automotive. V části praktické je poté popsána historická i aktuální inovační a internacionalizační činnost podniku následována jejím vyhodnocením a následným doporučením do budoucna.The diploma thesis deals with innovation models, recent trends and their mutual connection with the process of internationalization. The aim of this work is description and evaluation of innovation and internationalization activities of chosen company followed by observations and recommendations from the author's point of view.The first part of this thesis consists of theoretical description of the innovation process from the first idea to the final implementation supported by described innovation models. Further there are described recent innovation trends with emphasis on automotive industry, in which the chosen company operates. In the next part there are described forms of internationalization and its use in automotive. In practical part are covered both historical and current innovation and internationalization activities of the company followed by its evaluation and subsequent recommendations for the years to come

Choice of suitable information system for an organisation doing tourism business

Bakalářská práce se zabývá informačními systémy využívanými v cestovním ruchu. Cílem práce je porovnání vybraných hotelových informačních systémů, výběr nejlépe vyhovujícího systému pro fiktivní hotel a následné zhodnocení celého řešení. Dále se práce zaměřuje na aktuální trendy informačních systémů a jejich využití v oblasti cestovního ruchu.První část práce tvoří teoretické vysvětlení informačních systémů, od dob jejich rozvoje po současnost. V praktické části je krátké představení fiktivního podniku a následné porovnání vybraných informačních systémů podle zvolených kritérií. Na závěr je doporučen informační systém pro fiktivní podnik a tato volba je zdůvodněna.The bachelor thesis deals with information systems used in tourism. The aim of this work is comparison of selected hotel information systems, choice of the best suitable one for a fictitious hotel and then evaluation of the solution.The work is also focused on recent trends of information systems and their use in the tourism industry.The first part of the thesis consists of theoretical explanation of information systems since their early development until present. In practical part a short introduction of a fictitious hotel is followed by comparison of chosen information systems according to set criteria. Finally, the best information system is recommended for the fictious hotel and the choice is explained

Synthesis, structure and magnetism of manganese and iron dipicolinates with N,N′-donor ligands

New ionic manganese(II/III), manganese(III) and iron(II/III) complexes of the formula [Mn-II(H2O)(2)(phen)(2)]{[Mn-III(dipic)(2)]}(2)center dot 7H(2)O, (dmphenH)[Mn-III(dipic)(2)]center dot 2H(2)O, (2,2'-bipyH)[Mn-III(dipic)(2)]center dot 3H(2)O, (4,4'-bipyH)[Mn-III(dipic)(2)]center dot 4H(2)O, [Fe-II(phen)(3)]{[Fe-III(dipic)(2)]}(2)center dot 4.83H(2)O and [Fe-II(2,2'-bipy)(3)]{[Fe-III(dipic)(2)]}(2)center dot 6.11H(2)O where dipic(2-) = pyridine-2,6-dicarboxylate anion, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline, dmphenH = 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthrolinium cation, 2,2'-bipyH = 2-(2-pyridyl)pyridinium cation, 4,4'-bipyH = 4-(4-pyridyl)pyridinium cation, have been prepared and characterized by the single-crystal X-ray structure analysis, infrared spectroscopy, and by magnetic susceptibility and magnetization measurements. A zero field splitting was found in the Mn(III) dipicolinates while an antiferromagnetic exchange interaction was present in the Fe(III) dipicolinates. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved
