Physical education is a pedagogical process aimed at educating and training young people, perfecting their bodies and personality, improving their working ability, and prolonging human life. It is a part of the sport of Vietnam, one of the basic activities with a clear orientation in society, an organizational process to transmit and absorb the values of physical training and sport in the system. general education and reformation system of the school. On the basis of the meaning and role of such physical education, the article aims to evaluate the current situation of physical education work at Chu Van An high school in Thai Nguyen province of Vietnam. The results of this study will serve as a basis for the development of solutions to improve the effectiveness of the school's physical education work, ensuring its scientific and practical value.  Article visualizations

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SEAFOOD EXPORT AND VIETNAM'S ECONOMIC GROWTH IN THE PERIOD OF 2005 – 2022

    Get PDF
This article studies the relationship between seafood exports and Vietnam's economic growth in the period 2005 - 2022.  To conduct the research, the authors collected data on seafood export turnover and economic growth rate - represented by real gross domestic product (GDPr) in the period from 2005 to 2022. Data is collected from the General Statistics Office of Vietnam (GSO) and international financial statistics sites (IFS, IMF).  After synthesizing and cleaning the data, the research team used Eviews 8 software to analyze the data series to examine the relationship between seafood export turnover and economic growth during the research period. Model results show that when seafood export turnover increases by 1%, economic growth increases by 1.041382%, so it can be confirmed that seafood export has a positive relationship with Vietnam's economic growth during the research period. From the research results, the authors have several proposals to promote the growth of Vietnamese seafood exports to the international market in the post-pandemic context and the volatile world seafood market situation

AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE USE OF COLLOCATIONS IN ACADEMIC ESSAYS OF ENGLISH-MAJORED STUDENTS OF THE HIGH-QUALITY PROGRAM AT CAN THO UNIVERSITY, VIETNAM

One of the main goals of language learners is to master all four skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing when it comes to their acquisition of the target language. However, during the process of learning English, learners inevitably face a variety of challenges related to their writing including grammatical errors, word choice, organization, idea development, and most importantly their difficulties in using collocations (Duong & Nguyen, 2021). Therefore, this study has been conducted to investigate the students’ use of English collocations in their academic essays associated with their difficulties so that appropriate pedagogical approaches and practices would be taken into consideration in order to help students improve their English collocational competences in academic writing. This descriptive study was carried out with 103 English-majored students of the High-quality program of the School of Foreign Languages at Can Tho University, Vietnam. A 5-point Likert scale survey with 18 questionnaire items was employed to examine the frequency of students' exposure to as well as their usage of English collocations, and their difficulties in using English collocations. The results of this study have shown that the most commonly used collocations in the students’ academic essays were ‘verb + noun’, and ‘adjective + noun’ lexical collocations. Additionally, the research outcomes have revealed that the types of English collocations that the students were more likely to make the most mistakes belonged to ‘verb + adverb’, and ‘adjective + noun’ lexical collocations.  Article visualizations

Estimating resource bounds for software transactions

    Get PDF
We present an effect based static analysis to calculate upper and lower bounds on the memory resource consumption in a transactional calculus. The calculus is a concurrent variant of Featherweight Java extended by transactional constructs. The model supports nested and concurrent transactions. The analysis is compositional and takes into account implicit join synchronizations that arise when more than one thread perfom a join-synchronization when jointly committing a transaction. Central for a compositional and precise analysis is to capture as part of the effects a tree-representation of the future resource consumption and synchronization points (which we call joining commit trees). We show the soundness of the analysis

Effects of seeds treated with cobalt nanoparticles on germination, growth, yield and quality of soybean cultivar DT12

Seed treatment using metallic nanoparticles to stimulate germination and improve crop yields has been published and widely applied in agriculture production. To assess the safety of such methods on plants, the effectiveness and safety of the treatment of soybean Glycine max L. DT12 seeds with cobalt nanoparticles (nCo) before sowing were investigated. Seeds of soybean cultivar DT12 were treated with nCo at two different concentrations (0.165 and 1.65 mg/kg seed) before sowing. Germination rate, growth speed, soybean yield and bean nutrient components were examined throughout a season. Results implied that at a concentration of 0.165 mg/kg, nCo significantly increased germination rates, plant heights, total pods per plant, number of pods having 3 seeds, and crop productivity compared to both the control and seeds treated with a highter concentration of 16.5 mg per kg of seed. However, no significant differences were found between treatments in terms of growth level and seed nutrient contents, including moisture, ash content, mineral (K, Mg and Fe) and crude protein components. In seeds treated with higher concentration, the Ca content was dramatically lower than that of the control and seeds treated with a low concentration, but bean quality was not affected. This study contributes to the effective and sustainable application of nanomaterials in Vietnamese agriculture.

Periodic solutions for Boussinesq systems in weak-Morrey spaces

We prove the existence and polynomial stability of periodic mild solutions for Boussinesq systems in critical weak-Morrey spaces for dimension n⩾3n\geqslant3. Those systems are derived via the Boussinesq approximation and describe the movement of an incompressible viscous fluid under natural convection filling the whole space Rn\mathbb{R}^{n}. Using certain dispersive and smoothing properties of heat semigroups on Morrey-Lorentz spaces as well as Yamazaki-type estimate on block spaces, we prove the existence of bounded mild solutions for the linear equations corresponding to the Boussinesq system. Then, we establish a Massera-type theorem to obtain the existence and uniqueness of periodic solutions to corresponding linear equations on the half-line by using a mean-ergodic method. Next, using fixed point arguments, we can pass from linear equations to prove the existence uniqueness and polynomial stability of such solutions for Boussinesq systems. Finally, we apply the results to Navier-Stokes equations.Comment: 18 page

MINING TOP-K FREQUENT SEQUENTIAL PATTERN IN ITEM INTERVAL EXTENDED SEQUENCE DATABASE

Abstract. Frequent sequential pattern mining in item interval extended sequence database (iSDB) has been one of interesting task in recent years. Unlike classic frequent sequential pattern mining, the pattern mining in iSDB also consider the item interval between successive items; thus, it may extract more meaningful sequential patterns in real life. Most previous frequent sequential pattern mining in iSDB algorithms needs a minimum support threshold (minsup) to perform the mining. However, it’s not easy for users to provide an appropriate threshold in practice. The too high minsup value will lead to missing valuable patterns, while the too low minsup value may generate too many useless patterns. To address this problem, we propose an algorithm: TopKWFP – Top-k weighted frequent sequential pattern mining in item interval extended sequence database. Our algorithm doesn’t need to provide a fixed minsup value, this minsup value will dynamically raise during the mining proces
