METHODS OF CALCULATING THE COSTS IN THE ROMANIAN MINING ENTERPRISES
Determining the cost-bearers takes place according to the physical form of the production and the requirements of the calculation method. In this sense, we could choose between the synthetic calculation methods using a single expense-bearer and analytical calculation methods implying the utilization of two or more expense-bearers and able to provide several necessary information for the economic-financial analysis of the enterprise in the purpose of fundamentinf economic decisions to be made by the operative leadership of the enterprise. As stated above, we can also mention the expenditure sectors that serve the analytical character of programming and of following the expenses related to the production capacity of the enterprise. At determining expenses sectors, we will take into account: the number of departments and workshops in the enterprise, their size, the necessary production and responsability centers, as well as the informational needs regarding the expenses of the technical-productive departments of the enterprise according to the manufactured production. According to the pursued objectives, calculation methods can be grouped into two categories - calculation methods with a single objective and determining the unitary cost: the phase method, the order method, G.P. method, the global method; - the calculation method that follow and other objectives necessary to the management of costs: the direct-costing method, the normal cost method, T.H.M method, pre-cost method. The enforcement of a calculation method in the mining industry has to take into account its integration into the field of the mining enterprise and the accomplishment of the requirements of a modern informational cost system, able to answer at any time to the continuous pressure exerted by the external factors of the enterprise.costs, methods, direct costs, gross contribution, THM, Financial Economics, Resource /Energy Economics and Policy,
Kim was Korea and Korea was Kim: The Formation of Juche Ideology and Personality Cult in North Korea
Juche ideology, created by founder Kim Il-Sung, governs all aspects of North Korean society. This thesis attempts to answer the questions of why and how Juche ideology and the cult of personality surrounding Kim Il-Sung were successfully implemented in North Korea. It is a historical analysis of the formation of the North Korean state that considers developments from the late 19th century to the late 20th century, with particular attention paid to the 1950s-1970s and to Kim’s own writings and speeches. The thesis argues that Juche was successfully implemented and institutionalized in North Korea due to several factors, including the rise of Korean nationalism, the personal history of Kim Il-Sung, the Korean War and resulting domestic strife, and the influence of the international socialist movement. It provides a historical explanation of Juche and its importance within North Korea, which in turn is necessary for understanding North Korea as a whole

Removal or retention of minimally invasive screws in thoracolumbar fractures? Systematic review and case-control study.
BACKGROUND: There is uncertainty regarding delayed removal versus retention of minimally invasive screws following percutaneous fixation for thoracolumbar fractures. We conducted a systematic review and case-control study to test the hypothesis that delayed metalwork removal following percutaneous fixation for thoracolumbar fractures improves outcome. METHODS: A systematic review was performed in accordance with the PRISMA guidelines. Our case-control study retrospectively evaluated 55 consecutive patients with thoracolumbar fractures who underwent percutaneous fixation in a single unit: 19 with metalwork retained (controls) and 36 with metalwork removed. Outcomes were the Oswestry Disability Index (ODI), a supplemental questionnaire, and complications. RESULTS: The systematic review evaluated nine articles. Back pain was reduced in most patients after metalwork removal. One study found no difference in the ODI after versus before metalwork removal, whereas three studies reported significant improvement. Six studies noted no significant alterations in radiological markers of stability after metalwork removal. Mean complication rate was 1.7% (0-6.7). Complications were superficial wound infection, screw breakage at the time of removal, pull-out screw, and a broken rod. In the case-control study, both groups were well matched. For metalwork removal, mean operative time was 69.5 min (range 30-120) and length of stay was 1.3 days (0-4). After metalwork removal, 24 (68.6%) patients felt better, 10 (28.6%) the same and one felt worse. Two patients had superficial hematomas, one had a superficial wound infection, and none required re-operation. Metalwork removal was a significant predictor of return to work or baseline household duties (odds ratio 5.0 [1.4-18.9]). The ODI was not different between groups. CONCLUSIONS: The findings of both the systematic review and our case-control study suggest that removal of metalwork following percutaneous fixation of thoracolumbar fractures is safe and is associated with improved outcome in most patients
Att närma film Heideggers senare tänkande och poetisk film
The aim of this master’s thesis is to mediate a thinking between film and Martin Heidegger’s later (post-)philosophical writings. This period, although not easily pinpointed in term of an inception date, has been characterized as the Turn [die Kehre] and implies Heidegger’s critical rethinking of systematic philosophy and his
earlier fundamental ontological position. By examining his thoughts on poetry, art and
the Being-question I am trying to locate a place for the poetic film. I argue that the poetic film, unlike any particular style of film, can’t be conceptually bracketed and therefore also refuses application to any specific theory and method. In this regard my intention is more evocative than demonstrative, or for that matter critical; by following Heidegger thoughts on the appropriating event [Ereignis], his writings on human dwelling and dwellings vicinity to the Fourfold I read through particular films that seem to evoke the mythical poetic spirit that characterizes Heidegger’s later thinking: The Turin Horse (2011), Dog Star Man (1961-1964) and Stalker (1979) are just some of the films that appear on this road, but their appearance is also a hiding meaning that they appropriate the nature of truth by way of the Greek term a-lethia, signifying a concealed-unconcealement. These films stand apart from what can be characterized as experimental cinema in that the later is focused on the technical while the former are more akin to the essential mystery of language – which is also
why language has a precedence in this thesis – a mystery that speaks the thinging of the thing and the worlding of world. I argue therefore that particular films can point, essentially as a hinting, to the appropriating event that is the coming to be of the world in the word. They allow a dwelling place when dwelling is thought as the particular stay that defines man’s being in the Fourfold; on the earth, beneath the sky,
before the divinities, as mortals

Inferior vena cava thrombosis extension into the right atrium: An unusual case report of renal cell carcinoma
Inferior vena cava filling defects are common findings on computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging, and accurate determination of pseudo, benign, or malignant thrombus is essential for clinical management. Inferior vena cava thrombosis involvement extending into the right atrium is a rare presentation of renal cell carcinoma. The degree of inferior vena cava and right atrium involvement is critical in determining management and prognosis of patients. Inferior vena cava thrombosis surgical thrombectomy is often a risky procedure due to the intraoperative determination of inferior vena cava thrombosis involvement. Accurate recognition of inferior vena cava thrombosis with right atrial involvement is critical in determining appropriate treatment options and preoperative level of involvement for surgical intervention. This case features a unique presentation of inferior vena cava thrombosis in renal cell carcinoma with right atrial involvement
Facile Supramolecular Strategy to Construct Solid Fluorophore@Metal-Organic Framework Composites
The design and synthesis of a microporous construct based on the entrapment of an emissive fluorescein derivative in a zinc 2-methylimidazolate (ZIF-8) metal-organic framework (MOF) is detailed. Synthesis of the MOF in the presence of a fluorophore enables the capture and dispersal of dye molecules within the ZIF-8 framework. Within the resulting supramolecular assemblies, the fluorophore components show excellent photophysical properties such as high emission and increased fluorescence lifetime, despite the tendency of the dye to undergo aggregation-caused quenching in the solid-state, as well as a 4-fold enhancement of the fluorophore’s photostability. The demonstration that supramolecular events can be invoked to construct solid fluorescent systems from separate components is realized. The encapsulation of the fluorescein in an enclosed subunit of the ZIF-8 framework was modelled using the density-functional tight-binding method. Furthermore, the fluorophore@MOF composite can be internalized by mammalian macrophage cells and transported to lysosomes without disrupting cell viability. In principle, this simple protocol can evolve into a general strategy for intracellular delivery of functional molecular components for targeted bioimaging or theranostic applications
Association of Low-Grade Glioma Diagnosis and Management Approach with Mental Health Disorders: A MarketScan Analysis 2005–2014
Low-grade gliomas (LGGs) comprise 13–16% of glial tumors. As survival for LGG patients has been gradually improving, it is essential that the effects of diagnosis and disease progression on mental health be considered. This retrospective cohort study queried the IBM Watson Health MarketScan® Database to describe the incidence and prevalence of mental health disorders (MHDs) among LGG patients and identify associated risk factors. Among the 20,432 LGG patients identified, 12,436 (60.9%) had at least one MHD. Of those who never had a prior MHD, as documented in the claims record, 1915 (16.7%) had their first, newly diagnosed MHD within 12 months after LGG diagnosis. Patients who were female (odds ratio (OR), 1.14, 95% confidence intervals (CI), 1.03–1.26), aged 35–44 (OR, 1.20, 95% CI, 1.03–1.39), and experienced glioma-related seizures (OR, 2.19, 95% CI, 1.95–2.47) were significantly associated with MHD incidence. Patients who underwent resection (OR, 2.58, 95% CI, 2.19–3.04) or biopsy (OR, 2.17, 95% CI, 1.68–2.79) were also more likely to develop a MHD compared to patients who did not undergo a first-line surgical treatment. These data support the need for active surveillance, proactive counseling, and management of MHDs in patients with LGG. Impact of surgery on brain networks affecting mood should also be considered
