    Updates to APA Style Manual – Moving to the 7th Edition APA updated its style manual in October 2019 and APA plans to update the online APA site, Academic Writer/APA Style Central, in August 2020. Therefore, the library plans to update its APA materials and research assistance provided to patrons in August 2020, alongside the APA timeline. This presentation will cover major changes within the 7th edition including an expanded non-biased language section, and citation formats for online materials.     Pennsylvania Library Association, College and Research Division, Connect and Communication webinar series, March 17, 2021 Throughout 2018-19, librarians at Messiah University worked with the Director of First Year Core Courses to develop a scaffolded four-session information literacy program throughout the two core writing courses in the First Year student\u27s curriculum. Academic year 2019-2020 was the first year for full implementation. The first three sessions were delivered in person and included flipped and active learning strategies. COVID-related closure of campus required immediate conversion of the final session to an online format.
