    Towards symmetric scheme for superdense coding between multiparties

    Recently Liu, Long, Tong and Li [Phys. Rev. A 65, 022304 (2002)] have proposed a scheme for superdense coding between multiparties. This scheme seems to be highly asymmetric in the sense that only one sender effectively exploits entanglement. We show that this scheme can be modified in order to allow more senders to benefit of the entanglement enhanced information transmission.Comment: 6 page

    The timing behavior of magnetar Swift J1822.3-1606: timing noise or a decreasing period derivative?

    The different timing results of the magnetar Swift J1822.3-1606 is analyzed and understood theoretically. It is pointed that different timing solutions are caused not only by timing noise, but also that the period derivative is decreasing after outburst. Both the decreasing period derivative and the large timing noise may be originated from wind braking of the magnetar. Future timing of Swift J1822.3-1606 will help us make clear whether its period derivative is decreasing with time or not.Comment: 5 pages, 1 figure. Accepted by Research in Astronomy and Astrophysic

    Hard X-ray emission cutoff in anomalous X-ray pulsar 4U 0142+61 detected by INTEGRAL

    The anomalous X-ray pulsar 4U 0142+61 was studied by the INTEGRAL observations. The hard X-ray spectrum of 18 -- 500 keV for 4U 0142+61 was derived using near 9 years of INTEGRAL/IBIS data. We obtained the average hard X-ray spectrum of 4U 0142+61 with all available data. The spectrum of 4U 0142+61 can be fitted with a power-law with an exponential high energy cutoff. This average spectrum is well fitted with a power-law of Γ∼0.51±0.11\Gamma\sim 0.51\pm 0.11 plus a cutoff energy at 128.6±17.2128.6\pm 17.2 keV. The hard X-ray flux of the source from 20 -- 150 keV showed no significant variations (within 20%\%) from 2003 -- 2011. The spectral profiles have some variability in nine years: photon index varied from 0.3 -- 1.5, and cutoff energies of 110 -- 250 keV. The detection of the high energy cutoff around 130 keV shows some constraints on the radiation mechanisms of magnetars and possibly probes the differences between magnetar and accretion models for these special class of neutron stars. Future HXMT observations could provide stronger constraints on the hard X-ray spectral properties of this source and other magnetar candidates.Comment: 9 pages, 5 figures, 2 tables, figures are updated, new data are added, conclusion does not change, to be published in RA

    Background: Polyphenol concentration depends on the tea-making process and the concentration on tea leaf its self, which influenced by weather, kind of tea leaf, soil and maturity of leaf when it is harvested. Those made green tea products which have been marketed in public have different polyphenol concentrations. Objective: This research was aimed to prove that polyphenol concentration in a cup of tea from various green tea products: Kepala Jenggot, 2 Tang, Sariwangi, Tong Tji, Cap Botol Sosro have different concentrations and to find the product which has the highest polyphenol concentration. Method: This research was a cross sectional research. Samples needed for this research are from various green tea product, which are Kepala Jenggot, 2 Tang, Sariwangi, Tong Tji , Cap Botol Sosro. This research was done by measuring the absorbance of each green tea product with spectrophotometer, and compares them with standard solution which polyphenol concentration has been known. Result: The polyphenol concentration between Tong Tji and Sariwangi product, Tong Tji and 2 Tang, Tong Tji and Kepala Jengot, Tong Tji and Sosro, Sariwangi and 2 Tang, Sariwangi and Kepala Jenggot, 2 Tang and Kepala Jenggot, 2Tang and Sosro show significant statistic result (p0, 05). Conclusion: There are different concentrations of polyphenol in various green tea products. Green tea product which has the highest concentration of polyphenol is Green tea product from Tong Tji.     ABSTRAKSI Dalam persaingan bisnis, persaingan bisnis dalam perusahaan hal yang sangat penting sebab berhubungan dengan cara konsumen untuk mengenal produk, mencintai, memilliki dan citra image yang melekat pada suatu produk. Pemilihan produk oleh konsumen digambarkan sebagai citra merek yang ingin dikehendaki perusahaan dan kesesuaian konsumen terhadap produk. Teh Tong Tji adalah salah satu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang minuman. Teh Tong Tji berusaha menawarkan sesuatu yang khas dari produk minuman teh dan diharapkan dapat menjaring konsumen lebih banyak lagi. Dengan berupaya mempertahankan kualitas teh yang memadai ataupun meningkatkan kualitas. Sebagai perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang minuman, teh Tong Tji harus sangat memperhatikan brand image, kualitas produk dan harga untuk mencapai kepuasan konsumen. Citra merek terbentuk melalui proses pembelian melalui proses yang cukup panjang.Citra merek sebagai citra yang terkandung dan menggambarkan citra merek tersebut tersampaikan tersmasuk elemen-elemen pengenalnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis Linier Berganda. Variabel dalam penelitaian ini adalah (X1) atribut, (X2) manfaat, (X3) nilai, (X4) kepribadian dan (Y) keputusan pembelian. Populasi penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang membeli dan mengkonsumsi Teh Tong Tji di Food Festival Surabaya. Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan kuesioner. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa pengaruh brand image secara simultan dan parsial terhadap keputusan pembelian Teh Tong Tji di Food Festival Surabaya. Hasil pengujian secara simultan menyimpulkan bahwa semua variabel bebas (atribut, manfaat, nilai dan kepribadian) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap variabel terikat Y (keputusan pembelian). Hasil pengujian secara parsial menyimpulkan bahwa variabel atribut tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, variabel manfaat tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, variabel nilai tidak mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, variabel kepribadian mempunyai pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Sebaiknya Teh Tong Tji lebih menonjolkan manfaat dan nilai dari mengkonsumsi Teh Tong Tji, agar konsumen lebih banyak mengkonsumsi Teh Tong Tji. Sesuai hasil penulis, sebaiknya Teh Tong Tji lebih meningkatkan pada atribut, manfaat, dan nilai kepada konsumen. Kata kunci : Brand image, Inovasi, Keputusan pembelia

    Dimension nn Representations of the Braid Group on nn Strings

    In 1996 E. Formanek classified all the irreducible complex representations of BnB_n of dimension at most n−1,n-1, where BnB_n is the Artin braid group on nn strings. In this paper we extend this classification to the representations of dimension n,n, for n≥9n\geq 9. We prove that all such representations are equivalent to a tensor product of a one-dimensional representation and a specialization of a certain one-parameter family of n−n-dimensional representations, that was first discovered in 1996 by Tong, Yang, and Ma.
