CONSTRUCTING NARRATIVE AS A METHOD OF DEVELOPING CONFLICTOLOGICAL COMPETENCE OF PROSPECTIVE SPECIALISTS IN ADVERTISING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

In the article the essence of constructing narrative in self-education work as a method of developing conflictological competence of prospective specialists in advertising and public relations has been revealed. The narrative itself has been defined as a conflictological method, or a method of social impact. During the pedagogical experiment constructing narrative was carried out on several stages, i.e. organization and stimulation, content and activity, effect and reflection. It has been found out that such sequences of stages promotes directing motivation and values sphere of prospective specialists in advertising and public relations to constructive conflict resolution alongside with acquiring integrated knowledge on conflictology, developing conflictological skills and acquiring practical experience of constructive conflict resolution. It has been proved that the effectiveness of the developing conflictological competence of prospective specialists in advertising and public relations is provided by a set of appropriate methods, techniques and forms of learning activity. Organisational and methodical provision included reviewing of promotional narratives, analysis of experts’ opinions on the role of narrative in the field of media communications, using quest technologies, identifying characteristics of the target audience, creating, implementing and verifying the effectiveness of narratives for internal and external audiences with the help of GoogleApps services. The obtained results can be implemented in the professional training of prospective specialists in advertising and public relations.Key words: narrative, method, conflict, conflictological competence, prospective specialists in advertising and public relations

Multilevel Parallelization: Grid Methods for Solving Direct and Inverse Problems

In this paper we present grid methods which we have developed for solving direct and inverse problems, and their realization with different levels of optimization. We have focused on solving systems of hyperbolic equations using finite difference and finite volume numerical methods on multicore architectures. Several levels of parallelism have been applied: geometric decomposition of the calculative domain, workload distribution over threads within OpenMP directives, and vectorization. The run-time efficiency of these methods has been investigated. These developments have been tested using the astrophysics code AstroPhi on a hybrid cluster Polytechnic RSC PetaStream (consisting of Intel Xeon Phi accelerators) and a geophysics (seismic wave) code on an Intel Core i7-3930K multicore processor. Does Acute Pharmacological Test with Indomethacin Affect Nitrite Ion Blood Level?

Antioxidant activity of xymedone in rats with chronic autoimmune inflammation

© Folium Publishing House 2016.Effects of drug xymedone (in comparison to ionol) in a group of 32 white rats with experimental model of chronic autoimmune inflammation of rat paws (induced by Freund's adjuvant) were studied by measuring the volume of paw edema and determining the levels of lipid peroxidation (LPO) products and the activity of antioxidant enzymes in various tissues. Chronic autoimmune inflammation induced by Freund's adjuvant was characterized by the LPO intensification and disturbances of the level of antioxidant enzymes. Intragastric administration of xymedone (2 2-dihydro-4 6-dimethyl-N-(β-oxy-ethyl)-2-pyrimidon) at a dose of 169 mg/kg and reference drug ionol (2 6-ditretbutyl-4-methylphenol) at a dose of 220 mg/kg increased the activity of serum antioxidant enzymes by 19% and 11% respectively decreased the serum level of nitrite ion by 62% and 50% and reduced the levels of LPO products in rat blood and homogenates of liver kidney and spleen by up to 80% (p < 0.05)
