Effect of electron irradiation on transparent conductive films ZnO:Al deposited at different sputtering power

    No full text
Transparent conductive oxide thin films of Al-doped ZnO grown by rf magnetron sputtering were irradiated with high energy electrons with the energy 12.6 MeV and fluence 5·10¹⁴ e/cm². The films were produced using different sputtering powers. It has been shown that electron irradiation creates defects that lead to distortions of the crystal lattice, which results in reduced crystallinity of the films. Also, it leads to film heating that results in radiation annealing and relaxation of the lattice

HEMOSTATIC SYSTEM DISORDERS IN CHILDREN WITH HYDRONEPHROSIS AND WAYS OF DRUG THERAPY

    No full text
In hydronephrosis, dysplasia of connective tissue results in hemostatic system disorders manifesting themselves as hemorrhagic mesenchimal dysplasia. The article analyses the coagulograms of 63 children with renal hydronephrosis in pre-school age. The work reviews the methods of diagnosing hemostatic disorders in moderate and severe dysplasia of renal parenchyma and ways of modern adequate drug therapy for these conditions. This method makes a prognosis of the disease more predictable and manageable.Key words: hydronephrosis, dysplasia, kidneys, children

Effect of high alpha-particle fluences on phosphate-glass detectors

    No full text
The effect of high alpha-particle fluences (3 x 10(13)-2 x 10(15) cm(-2)) on the line-recording properties of the two types of phosphate-glass detectors with different compositions was studied. The glass samples were exposed to accelerated Si ions and fission fragments before and after their irradiation with the accelerated 3.1-MeV alpha-particle beam, perpendicular to the sample surfaces, and with alpha-particles from a Ra-226 radioactive source in a solid angle of about 2 pi. It was shown that the recording properties of glass detectors depended on the alpha-particle fluence, spatial distribution of the alpha-particle paths, and glass type. The critical alpha-particle fluences, above which the detector properties changed, were determined
