On a new compactification of moduli of vector bundles on a surface, IV: Nonreduced moduli

The construction for nonreduced projective moduli scheme of semistable admissible pairs is performed. We establish the relation of this moduli scheme with reduced moduli scheme built up in the previous article and prove that nonreduced moduli scheme contains an open subscheme which is isomorphic to moduli scheme of semistable vector bundles.Comment: 20 pages, additions and removal

This paper deals with the study of the antioxidant activity of diterpene glycoside of stevioside in the absence of stress factors and under the influence of heavy metals. Results showed different response of stevioside to - it reduced catalase activity by 34% as compared to control, but virtually had no effect on the enzymatic activity of an ascorbate peroxidase. Heavy metals at suboptimal concentrations (10 μM) also did not significantly change the activity of the studied enzymes. Growing of plants at a sublethal concentration of pollutants (1 mM) was accompanied by a sharp increase in the activity of ascorbate peroxidase, and, otherwise, decrease in catalase activity. Plants pretreatment with diterpene glycosides ensured reduction of the negative effects of heavy metals on the activity of these enzymes, i.e., ascorbate peroxidase activity was lower and catalase activity was higher. The influence of stevioside also led to 4-fold increase in the content of non-enzymatic antioxidant - proline that may indicate an increasing stress resistance of plants to negative environmental factors

Branching dendrites with resonant membrane: a “sum-over-trips” approach

    Get PDF
Dendrites form the major components of neurons. They are complex branching structures that receive and process thousands of synaptic inputs from other neurons. It is well known that dendritic morphology plays an important role in the function of dendrites. Another important contribution to the response characteristics of a single neuron comes from the intrinsic resonant properties of dendritic membrane. In this paper we combine the effects of dendritic branching and resonant membrane dynamics by generalising the “sum-over-trips” approach (Abbott et al. in Biol Cybernetics 66, 49–60 1991). To illustrate how this formalism can shed light on the role of architecture and resonances in determining neuronal output we consider dual recording and reconstruction data from a rat CA1 hippocampal pyramidal cell. Specifically we explore the way in which an Ih current contributes to a voltage overshoot at the soma

Kinetics of CxNy formation on electrode surface through electrochemical method

    Get PDF
Powded CxNy coatings were deposited from acetonitrile on Ni, Si, and C surfaces at a voltage of 500-2000 V by the electrochemical method. Electrolysis products were analyzed by IR spectroscopy, X-ray phase analysis and electron microscopy. According to FTIR data, at frequencies 1370 and 1530 cm-1, absorption bands characteristic for stretching C-N and C=N oscillations are observed. The obtained results indicate that the deposition process occurs in different manner in each specific case, i.e., the kinetics of the electrode depends on the electrode material (Ni, Si, and C)

Dialogue of cultures : concept in Russian humanities

    Get PDF
The urgency of the problem under study is caused by the lack of a common opinion in the scientific social and humanitarian community about the content of "culture dialogue" concept and the interdisciplinary status of cultural research. The article is aimed at the revealing of the variety of used terms identical to "culture dialogue" and the presentation of a possible classification of values that are laid down in this term depending on the research problem. The leading approach to the study of this problem is the poly-paradigmatic approach, in which the main research method is the comparative analysis method, aimed at the comparison of existing definitions, the determination of their common and specific base components. The main results of the article represent the approaches to the definition of "culture dialogue" existing in the Russian humanitarian field. The materials of the article can be useful to develop the lecture materials for the students studying a wide range of social humanitarian educational programs, during the selection of a methodological approach in anthropological, historical, cultural, artistic, scientific and philosophical studies.peer-reviewe

Technology of Water Purification With Chlorinated Derivatives and Assessment of Risk Associated With Human Exposure to These Substances

    Get PDF
In the given paper the authors consider the technology of water purification with consideration to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), European Union (EU) and standards of developed countries. Carcinogenic Unit Risk (UR) magnitude for people constantly exposed to the analyzed carcinogens in the course of a lifetime is estimated. The authors calculate and evaluate unique carcinogenic risk as a complementary probability of cancer development during the whole life of CR when introducing EU standards into water purification technology
