THE FINANCIAL IMPACT OF MOZAL COMPANY IN MOZAMBIQUE

O presente artigo pretende mostrar e explicar com detalhe a realidade, experiência e benefícios económicos que a empresa Mozal tem em geral e para Moçambique. A empresa foi escolhida para mostrar os benefícios que trouxeram ao país. Existem várias empresas que contribuem para o aumento da economia do País mas esta especificamente é um dos melhores exemplos, „tendo também em consideração a lista das 100 maiores empresas do Pais em 2009, divulgada pela consultora KPMG‟(DW - Deutsche Welle, 2019) (com características especificas, número de colaboradores com interesses próprios e espírito empreendedor) que opera em Moçambique e contribui para o aumento do PIB do país, bem como para as dificuldades que a empresa encontra diariamente desde o primeiro dia da sua existência. A realização deste estudo pretende reconhecer e compreender a realidade vivida pelos Moçambicanos antes e depois da chegada da empresa Mozal. Utilizamos o método de pesquisa descritiva e revisão de literatura que nos ajudará a entender a chegada da empresa Mozal e como ela funciona

A eficiência dos aeroportos de Moçambique no período de 2004 a 2010

Mestrado em Contabilidade, Fiscalidade e Finanças EmpresariaisA eficiência aeroportuária tem sido uma temática bastante discutida nos últimos anos devido a sua grande importância como indicador de desempenho. Existe uma grande diversidade de pesquisas nesta área, relativamente aos aeroportos de vários cantos do mundo, recorrendo ao uso de uma infinidade de metodologias. No entanto, no continente africano, a literatura nesta área se afigura ainda bastante incipiente. Sobre a eficiência aeroportuária em Moçambique existe apenas um estudo publicado em junho do presente ano. A presente pesquisa avalia a eficiência dos aeroportos de Moçambique no período de 2004 a 2010 com recurso a metodologia Data Envelopment Analysis. Os objectivos do trabalho circunscrevem-se em a) descrever e analisar a performance aeroportuária dos aeroportos moçambicanos através de índices de eficiência do modelo CCR e BCC obtidos pelo DEA e b) avaliar quais factores podem explicar os índices de eficiência CCR encontrados no primeiro objectivo, por meio de uma regressão Tobit com bootstrapping. Os factores em análise compreenderam: o PIB percapita, o turismo, a % de tráfego internacional, a característica hub/spoke e a localização do aeroporto. Os resultados do estudo apontaram para uma eficiência relativa elevada em seis dos dez aeroportos estudados. Concluiu-se ainda, que o turismo e a % de tráfego internacional são factores com influência estatisticamente significativa e positiva na eficiência dos aeroportos moçambicanos.The airport efficiency has been a subject much discussed in recent years due to its importance as an indicator of performance. There is a wide diversity of research in this area, for several airports around the world, resorting to the use of a multitude of methodologies. However, in Africa, the literature in this area appears to be still very low, while in Mozambique there is only one research on the subject. This study evaluates the efficiency of airports in Mozambique in the period 2004 to 2010 using Data Envelopment Analysis methodology. The objectives of the work is confined to a) describe and analyze the performance of airport Mozambican airports using index of efficiency obtained by the CCR and BCC DEA models and b) assess which factors may explain the CCR efficiency index found in the first goal, by using a Tobit regression with bootstrapping. The factors analyzed included: per capita GDP, tourism, % of international traffic, the hub feature and the location of airports. Study results pointed to a high relative efficiency in six of the ten airports studied. The tourism and the % of international traffic proved to be the factors with statistically significant and positive influence on the efficiency of the Mozambican airports

The title compound, C22H18O7, also known as laurentiquinone B, is a new anthraquinone which was isolated from Vismia laurentii, a Cameroonian medicinal plant. The asymmetric unit contains two independent mol­ecules. Each of them contains four fused rings, three of which are coplanar and typical of anthracene, while the heterocyclic rings adopt envelope conformations. Intra­molecular O—H⋯O hydrogen bonds result in the formation of two planar rings, which are also almost coplanar with the adjacent rings. In the crystal structure, inter­molecular O—H⋯O and C—H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol­ecules and a π–π contact is also present [centroid-centroid distance = 3.967 (3) Å]

Impiego di un gruppo turbina-alternatore per la regolazione della portata di una tubazione idraulica

IL nostro nostro lavoro è stato svolto nell'azienda Imolese LOCLAIN. Si tratta quindi di una soluzione innovativa per il recupero di energia diversamente dissipata durante il servizio sia durante la regolazione della portata che quella della pressione in una turbatura idraulica. Questa energia recuperata viene convertita con dei convertitori statici (INVERTER - AFE) e può essere: + sia auto-consumata per i fabbisogni dell'impianto stesso; + sia immessa in rete: il ritiro dedicato; + sia in parte immessa e consumata: lo scambio sul posto. La macchina elettrica rotante che viene usata in questo sistema è un generatore e può essere sia : il generatore Brushless, generatore Asincrono; o generatore a riluttanza. Questi generatori devono essere flangiate, grado di protezione IP54, B5 poiché viene montato a sbalzo sull'asse della turbina. Per quanto riguarda la turbina, essa viene integrata nelle tubature ed è di tipo assiale . Viene regolata automaticamente dall'inverter durante il passaggio del fluido. Questo sistema innovativa presenta una doppia regolazione: - Regolazione elettrica: tramite l'INVERTER ed agendo sul parametro OFFSET. - Regolazione idraulica : tramite l'attuatore ed agendo sull'otturatore

Rawls's theory of Justice and international relations

Nous soutenons, contre Rawls, l'établissement de la justice distributive à l'échelle globale à partir de la thèse de la justice sociale développée par Rawls dans la "Théorie de la justice et rejetée dans le "Droit des gens". Rawls limite l'application de sa théorie de justice sociale aux société libérales bien ordonnées alors même qu'une structure sociale globale est envisageable. Nous analyserons la justice économique et sociale mondiale. le principe de différence exige que les inégalités produites par les institutions sociales soient conçues de manière à optimiser la position des plus défavorisés de la société. Ainsi recouvre-t-il une grande importance dans l'universalisme moral de la théorie de la justice comme équité à partir d'une position originelle sans voile d'ignorance. Du point de vue cosmopolitique, nous nous alignons sur la position de Thomas Pogge, auteur de "Realizing Rawls" pour montrer comment cette substance ambitieuse de la théorie sociale peut, dans le domaine du droit des gens, faire de la position sociale des moins avantagés de l'ordre économique global une pierre de touche pour l'établissement des institutions de bases globales justes et équitables. Ce faisant, nous avons l'intention de mener la globalisation des valeurs sociales et environnementales pour combler l'écart entre la "Théorie de la justice" et le "Droit des gens". Nous comptons lutter contre les abréviations des principes de "biens sociaux premiers" dans la recherche de la réalisation du second principe rawlsien de la justice. Enfin le développement glocal devient pour tous la nouvelle donne pour l'ensemble de projets à cause de multiples interconnections et interférences dans le jeu dual entre le global et le glocalAgainst John Rawls we support the etablishment of distributive justice on a global scale from the theory of social justice shaped by rawls in "Theory of justice" and released to the "Law of peoples. Rawls limits domestically enforcement ot theory of social justice to well-ordered societies although a global basic structure can warrant principles of distributive justice as we claim here. This global distributive justice will explore the same conditions that are already settled at the domestic level in order to respond to the requirements of global economic and social justice. The difference principle requires that social institutions, insofar as they produce inequalities, be structured so as to optimize the index position of the least advantaged. So it takes a great importance in the moral universalism of the theory of justice as fairness from the original position without Rawls's veil of ignorance. In the cosmopolitan view, we join Thomas Pogge, author of Realizing Rawls, to show how this substance ambitious Rawls's theory of social justice might imply in space of law of peoples, to the social position of the least advantaged the current global economie order a touchstone for establisment of the global institutions of the institutions of global bases just anf fair. In doing so, we intend to glocalization social values to bridge gap between Rawl's A theory of justice and Law of peoples and cope with abridgments of first-principle goods for the sake of raising second principle scores.
