Ultrasonic extraction of amaranth oils L. D. Chulak, V. G. Zadorozhny, Yu. L. Chulak, O. T. Chulak, O. V. Tatarina International Humanitarian University, Оdesa Abstract The isolation of biologically active substances - extraction, is currently the most difficult and time-consuming task that can be solved only in the conditions of large productions with the help of specialized equipment, and practically impossible at home. As numerous studies show, from the natural raw material of plant and animal origin it is possible to extract practically all known compounds, which are produced by plants [1]. The authors carried out extraction of amaranth in cold pressed olive oil. Since it is close in composition with amaranth oil. The biological activity of the oil is due to the presence of squalene and tocotrienol, and the percentage of their various fractions possessing antioxidant properties. Key words: amaranth oil, ultrasonic extraction, squalen

The article is devoted to prothesis area’s mucosa and alveolar prosesses investigation in mental patients using removable dentures. 318 patients were examined and conclusion was made that the usage of removable dentures in mental patients leads to stomatopathies, which are characterized by chronic inflammation of the oral cavity mucosa and increase of alveolar processes atrophy

The article presents the results of investigating the level of the hygiene of dental prostheses in the patients with schizophrenia, which were prepared different removable plate prostheses. The obtained results testify that the mentally sick patients have a rather low level of hygiene of the oral cavity, which is connected to the basic disease and the wearing of removable denture. Before the comparative characteristic the best level of hygiene was observed in patients with those combined — acrylic and nonacrylic dental prostheses.

The study of authors is devoted to the problem of the study of the influence of psychotropic drags on the functional activity of the salivary glands. As a result of the carried out experiment on the rats it is determined that the majority of the widespread psychotropic drags with their prolonged use leads to reduction in the salivation and decrease of the quantity of protein in the saliva, which most frequently provoke the inflammation of mucous of the oral cavity.
