As one of the two basic aims in the key fields of intervention in the National Program for Development of the Education in the Republic of Macedonia for 2005-2015, the issue of increasing the primary education, from 8 to 9 years, was posed. The requirements in this period are mainly initiated by the developmental characteristics of the children. The need for more intensive application of play and the activities of play has been shown to be the most appropriate approach in the process of acquiring of knowledge, abilities, skills and habits, and as an educational reform it should be respected in school conditions. The subject of scientific research refers to the didactic-methodic components of the activity of play in the first educational cycle. The methodology, methods and techniques that were applied during the course of the research are: the method of analysis (analysis of content and structural analysis), the descriptive method and the method of comparison, as well as the techniques of analysis of pedagogical documentation, observation and surveying. On the basis of the received results, it can be concluded that: the organization and realization of the activity of play partially depends on the professional training of the teachers; the majority of teachers believe that the syllabi are appropriate for the realization of the activity of play as a methodical concept; the necessity of appropriate didactic-methodical preparation of the teachers for realizing the activity of play.&nbsp

The paper presents empirical research, aiming to present the extent to which the application of the concrete mathematical and musical play contributes to the child’s social and emotional development. The research was conducted in two international schools in Belgrade, using the play titled ‘Musical Monkeys’ and in collaboration with the Music-Math team from Mexico who are the creators of the mentioned game. The results have shown that this kind of approach in working with children encourages activity and engagement, self-confidence, empathy, team work, integrity, tolerance and enthusiasm, while requiring and encouraging collaboration and constructive communication, cooperation and respect among students in the process of solving a set of mathematical and/ or musical tasks. The obtained results confirm that the children established connection between the mathematical and musical segments involving a high level of emotional and social skills – collaboration, communication, empathy, enthusiasm, commitment, curiosity for the game and felt benefits of team work, tolerance and respect while solving the given educational tasks

Improving the quality of the practical teaching in recent years has gained greater significance among all the included parties of all the levels in the educational process. Consequently, this issue has been approached from several aspects in regards to the constitution of the conceptual, systematic, structural, and content physiognomy in the organization and conduct of the process of practical teaching. The successiveness in setting the research and its complete theoretical foundation starts with setting up a model for practical teaching, in which all the relative factors from the three educational subsystems simultaneously and actively help to develop it. This initiation is completed through the provision of educational support, and realization with a high level of activity, all in all accompanied by a continuous follow-up of the model. The action character of the research represents continual movement in the direction of changes, additions, revisions, and expansions, approached through analysis of the acquired knowledge, developed competences, and relevant viewpoints of the included interested parties.Due to the universality of the basic pedagogical concept for practical teaching, which is applied in this research, one of the ideas that the researchers had been for it to become a generator, i.e. a specific example for support of practical teaching in higher education through the development of various profiles. It primarily refers to that category of students who in the future will choose whether they want to work as kindergarten teachers, primary or secondary school teachers, or school pedagogues, in different levels of education

Learning Management System (LMS) is a type of an e-learning system is one of the main infrastructural requirements that improves access to higher education for persons with disabilities. The primary aim of the research study[1] was to explore perceptions of students with disabilities regarding the use and accessibility of learning management systems and benefits and/or barriers in e-learning. Students mainly have negative experiences while attempting to enter university web-sites/libraries/LMSs because of the inadequate adaptation to the specific needs of students with disabilities. In countries that do not have a developed LMS, the prevalent mean of communication with professors is via e-mail, in those where there is a LMS, there is not a fully accessibility of entire content and services for students with special needs. This research defined the need for creation of an accessible LMS or adjusted already existing LMS with accessibility solutions such as: a text-to-speech engine for blind students, a mode with sign language support for deaf students and a mode which supports dyslexic.Â

The main objective of this paper is to make an analysis and comparison of programs for theeducation of staff for pre-school education in some European countries (Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia,Slovenia, and the Netherlands) and to indicate whether there is a compliance between programs andopportunities for vertical and horizontal mobility of students and teaching staff. The descriptive-explicativemethod is applied in order to describe and explain the current situation in the development of study programs, and the method of theoretical analysis in order to carry out a detailed content analysis of the curricula ofindividual institutions for educating staff for the system of preschool education. The results showed that Pedagogical faculties in Macedonia preparing educational staff do not fully meet thedemands of the modern system of education and they show the following characteristics: (non) compliance ofprograms, disconnection and lack of coordination among institutions in Europe; education of educational staffis based on traditional pedagogical practice; there is a very weak link in the mobility of students and academicstaff. What can be observed in all study programs in Macedonia is a formal change: the study programsare the same ones that were realized in the past, only now they are divided by semesters, they are assigned"credits" (for the most part these credits are greatly mathematical combinations, instead of essentially derivingfrom student workload) and their names are partially changed

Following and respecting the developmental characteristics of the child represents a tendency whichis becoming more and more visible in contemporary pedagogical practices. Since the differences in thepossibilities for children can show great amplitude, i.e. they can be found significantly below or above themedium values, it is extremely unacceptable for the educator to have the same approach towards all theindividuals. For this reason, the educational system must be differentiated, not as much in the size andcomplexity of the content as in the help for the planned activities to be successfully done. The subject of research in this work regards the respect to the individual developmental possibilitiesof the children from 3 to 5,8 years, as a basis for activity-planning. The methods and techniques that wereapplied are: the method of analysis, the inductive, descriptive and the method of generalization, as well as thetechniques of analysis of pedagogical documentation, observation and surveying. Self-research includes thefollowing tasks: respecting the categorization of the childhood development, the manner of applying thedifferentiated approach in the realization of the activities, and the needs and possibilities for planning activitiesbased on the developmental abilities of the children. On the basis of the received results, it can be concluded that: The program for early childhooddevelopment respects the developmental characteristics of the children; The educator notices and respects thedevelopmental characteristics of the children in their group; There is a need for additional professionalcompetences for the educators regarding the planning of activities based on the developmental characteristicsof the children
