Riemannian Holonomy Groups of Statistical Manifolds

Normal distribution manifolds play essential roles in the theory of information geometry, so do holonomy groups in classification of Riemannian manifolds. After some necessary preliminaries on information geometry and holonomy groups, it is presented that the corresponding Riemannian holonomy group of the dd-dimensional normal distribution is SO(d(d+3)2)SO\left(\frac{d\left(d+3\right)}{2}\right), for all dNd\in\mathbb{N}. As a generalization on exponential family, a list of holonomy groups follows.Comment: 11 page

Purpose: To investigate the effects of miR-34a and miR-26b on the targeted genes, LEF1 and EphA2, and proliferation and apoptosis of OPCN-1.Methods: Sixty specimens of cancer tissue (CT) and equivalent tissue adjacent to tumors (TAT) were collected from prostate cancer patients. Quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) was used to determine the mRNA expression levels of miR-34a, miR-26b, LEF1, and EphA2 in the above tissues, while protein expression levels of LEF1 and EphA2 were evaluated by Western blot. Results: Compared with TAT, the expression levels of miR-26b and miR-34a in CT decreased significantly (p < 0.05), whereas the mRNA and protein expression levels of EphA2 and LEF1 in CT significantly increased (p < 0.05). TargetScanHuman7.2 assay data revealed that miR-26b targeted EphA2, while miR-34a targeted LEF1. MiR-26b MG showed decreased EphA2 mRNA and protein levels when compared with miR-26b-NC group after overexpression. The miR-34a MG exhibited decreased expression levels of LEF1 mRNA and protein compared with the miR-34a-NC group. Between 48 and 72 h, miR-26b MG grew more slowly than miR-26b-NC group; miR-34a MG also showed significantly slower growth than miR-34a-NC group. The miR-26b MG and miR-34a MG groups displayed higher apoptosis rate than miR-26b-NC and miR-34a-NC groups, respectively. Conclusion: High expressions of miR-34a and miR-26b targeted the inhibition of LEF1 and EphA2, respectively, indicating that they inhibit the proliferation, and also control the increased apoptosis rate of OPCN-1 cells. Hence, miR-34a and miR-26b are probable molecular targets for the development of new prostate cancer drugs

    Higher bottom and bottom-strange mesons

Motivated by the recent observation of the orbital excitation B(5970)B(5970) by CDF collaboration, we have performed a systematical study of the mass spectrum and strong decay patterns of the higher BB and BsB_s mesons. Hopefully the present investigation may provide valuable clues to further experimental exploration of these intriguing excited heavy mesons.Comment: 13 pages, 11 figures, 10 tables. In the title compound, {[Zn3(C9H3O6)2(H2O)8]·4H2O}n, there are two crystallographically independent ZnII ions. One presents a trigonal-bipyramidal coordination geometry defined by five O atoms [three from two carboxylate groups of two benzene-1,3,5-tricarboxylate (BTC) ligands and the other two deriving from three water molecules], while the other lies on an inversion centre and exists in a slightly distorted octahedral coordination geometry defined by six O atoms (two from two carboxylate groups of two BTC ligands and the others from four water molecules). A three-dimensional framework is further strengthened via O—H⋯O hydrogen-bonding interactons

Residential Spatial Differentiation Based on Urban Housing Types-An Empirical Study of Xiamen Island, China

Residential spatial differentiation, also called residential segregation, is a representation of the differentiation of social stratum in economic income, social status, education degree, lifestyle, and other aspects, based on an urban geographical space. In this paper, Xiamen Island is taken as example to calculate the dissimilarity index and the multi-group dissimilarity index at three scales (districts, sub-districts, and communities) by using the land area, population size, and green space area of different housing types. The characteristics of residential differentiation are analyzed. It is found that both spatial differentiation and multi-group spatial differentiation have significant scale effects. The smaller the scale of the spatial statistics unit, the larger the spatial differentiation and multi-group spatial differentiation. Significant differences are found in residential differentiation among different housing types. The residential differentiation is, not only demonstrated in land area and population size, but also in the resources of green space. More importantly, a balanced allocation of green space will help to reduce the degree of residential differentiation. With urban expansion and social-economic development, residential spatial differentiation will likely change. An understanding of residential differentiation is a guide for urban master planning and detailed regulatory planning. It will help to promote social harmonious development and urban sustainable development by the reasonable configuration of land and resources

UNDERSTANDING CONSUMERS\u27 TRUST IN INTERNET FINANCIAL SALES PLATFORM: EVIDENCE FROM “YUEBAO”

Obtaining consumers’ trust is one of the crucial objectives of online transaction success. In the context of Internet finance, trust becomes the focus of scholars’ research in different fields. In previous studies, trust has been investigated in psychology, sociology, economics and many other disciplines. Since the Internet emerge in human’s daily life, a steam of literature shed light on consumers’ trust based on Internet. Now, Internet finance has become popular in ordinary people’s lives. So, it’s essential to understand consumers’ trust in Internet financial sales platforms. In this paper, we investigate consumers’ trust with the data collected from “Yuebao” users in China, and adopt six factors after reviewing prior related studies. The factors are clustered in two resources. Resource theory is employed to generate the proposed research model. Finally, we find that perceived ease of use, perceived benefit, perceived security control and third-party guarantees have significant effects on consumers’ trust, while perceived credibility and network size are not significant related to trust. The results of this study provide directions for system administrators and service providers to achieve higher levels of micro-blog usage by developing multi-faceted strategies to enhance users’ perceived trust toward the platforms
