    放射光を利用すると高輝度な単色X線が得られ、且つ、特定の波長のX線を選択し目的とする物質の蛍光X線を高い効率で発生させる事が可能である。さらに、錯乱線を激減させる直線偏向性が利用でき、蛍光X線を利用した高感度な新しい型の機能画像診断装置を作製することが可能となる。本研究では、特定の元素から発生する蛍光X線を高い計数効率でデータ収集可能な検出器系を購入し、コリメータを非常に薄くし、且つ被写体と検出器の間隔を狭くし大量の蛍光X線を検出し、検出時間を短縮できる蛍光X線CT装置を作製した。検出限界を向上させるため、錯乱線減域少用遮へい体を作製した。研究代表者: 武田徹研究課題番号: 1055708

    Influence of the Consideration of Future Consequences on Financial Behavior: The Case of Japanese Individual Investors

    We analyze the impact of the “consideration of future consequences” (CFC) on the amount of financial assets and the liabilities of individual investors by applying a Tobit model to data from a web-based survey. We find that impatient individuals with high CFC have fewer deposits and financial asset balances. We also examine the influence of the CFC-immediate (CFC-I) and CFC-future (CFC-F) sub-indicators often used in psychology as well as CFC on financial asset balances and liabilities. CFC-I show concern with immediate consequences and also an index related to ego depletion. We find that the higher the CFC-I, the lower the amount of deposits and financial asset balances. However, CFC-F is a sub-indicator designating lack of concern with future consequences; thus, the higher the CFC-F, the larger the debt

    Detailed pressure-temperature phase diagrams of heavy lanthanide sesquisulfides Ln2S3 (Ln = Yb and Lu) have been investigated by in-situ x-ray diffraction experiments under high pressure and high temperature using synchrotron radiation and multi-anvil press. Based on the results of the in-situ observation, the single γ-phase (Th3P4-type structure, I3d) samples of Ln2S3 (Ln = Yb and Lu) have been synthesized under high pressure. The physical properties of the compounds were studied by electrical resistivity, specific heat, and magnetic susceptibility measurements between 2 K and 300 K

    金沢大学理工研究域  慶應義塾大学Introduction: Recently wireless sensor networks with the function distribution of memory units, communications, calculations etc. have attracted much attention, and there has been increasing research [1, 2]. In these researches, sensor nodes are connected wirelessly and some local estimates are merged into the common estimate by the wireless communication. It is well known that sensor networks are superior to a observation by a system with single sensor in a fault tolerance, load reduction of operator, collection and application of information etc. and its application to not only a sensing system but also the guidance control system via a sensor network has received attention. For example, traffic control systems, nano-medicines and disaster countermeasures. Meanwhile, each sensor node requires electric power more than a case of only sensing because of communications and calculations, but sensor nodes are generally powered and driven by batteries. Moreover it is difficult to change batteries frequently or charge by power cable because of increasing of costs. Therefore, it is important to utilize the energy efficiently to achieve the energy-saving and prolong sensor nodes life. For this requirement, the sensor scheduling, the optimization of the communication rate and communications traffic and decreasing communication distances by the multi-hop communication are discussed [4,3, 5]. Consequently, in this paper, we discuss a sensor scheduling problem selecting available sensor nodes considering the estimation error variance and communication energy in a feedback control system via a sensor network. © 2010 Springer-Verlag

    金沢大学理工研究域  慶應義塾大学This paper deals with a sensor scheduling algrithm considering estimation error variance and communication energy in sensor networked feedback systems. We propose a novel decentralized estimation algorithm with unknown inputs in each sensor node. Most existing works deal with the sensor network systems as sensing systems and it is difficult to apply them to the real physical feedback control systems Then some local estimates are merged and the merged estimates can be optimized in the proposed method and the estimation error covariance has a unique positive definite solution under some assumptions. Next, we propose a novel sensor scheduling algorithm in which each sensor node transmits information. A sensor node uses energy by communication between other sensor node or the plant. The proposed algorithm achieves a sub-optimal network topology with minimum energy and a desired variance. Experimental results show an effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2010 IEEE

    A Study of Lifelong Education for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities at the University Level

    Background: In recent years, there has been growing interest in developing lifelong education for persons with disabilities at universities and other institutions of higher learning. However, there is still a lack of practical research on people with intellectual disabilities who participate in lifelong education. Objective: This study analyzes the experiences of participants with intellectual disabilities obtained from the practice of the Lifelong Education Program for Persons with Disabilities (AULEPP). It discusses perspectives for the future development of lifelong education. Methods: Eleven persons with intellectual disabilities who participated in the AULEPP from October 2021 to February 2022 were included in the study. Three surveys were administered to these participants before and after the AULEPP and for each lecture. Results: The average number of participants in each lecture was 5.2, and four participants attended more than eight lectures. Qualitative analysis of the survey results revealed that participants acquired new knowledge, expressed the need for continuous learning, and proposed new questions. The lectures helped them recognize changes in their perspectives on daily life and society. Most of the lectures were conducted online, but there were no negative comments about this modality. Conclusions: The study revealed the need to create opportunities for participants to find meaning in lectures, the effectiveness of online media, and the role of lifelong college education in the community. It is necessary to investigate the transferability of these results to urban areas and explore outcome measures and program content to build an evidence-based lifelong learning program

    This article discusses how the idea of publicness has changed in the history of broadcasting in Japan. The Three Radio Wave Laws established in 1950 (Dempa Sampo): including the law defining the principle for regulation of broadcasting (Hoso Ho), the law regulating the use of radio waves (Dempa Ho) and the law establishing a commission to supervise its usage (Dempa Kanri Iinkai Setti Ho) were intended to terminate the government.controlled broadcasting system dictated under the war government, and to build a new public broadcasting system independent from any kind of governmental control. But, soon after the San Francisco Peace Treaty in 1951, the commission to supervise radio wave usage disappeared, and the decision.making capacity to allot the frequency waves moved back to the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications . This meant that the independence of the broadcasting system also disappeared, because the government regained its ability to rule the broadcasting system again by controlling the licensing of radio waves. In additon, recently, as the Internet has been covering our society, the citizen\u27s `right to know\u27 is fulfilled not only by mass.broadcasting, but also by search engines like Google. How should the broadcasting system maintain its position to be `public\u27 under such circumstances ? This article discusses the possibilities of broadcasting to remain a `public\u27 system by referring to John Rawls\u27 "A Theory of Justice" and the idea of `liberal irony\u27 by Richard Rorty
