It uncovers the influence of such events on businesses, particularly on their sales. Overall, such festivals have positive financial effects on all local business, except a few, which are further explored in the study.
Methodology- The study adopts a qualitative research method in order to obtain a deeper knowledge of how local businesses take advantage of events and festivals. Primary data has been gathered by interviewing local businesses and respondents
from Peace & Love Festival. In total, 22 retailers were approached and interviewed. Non-probability, purposive sampling was used for the research in determining the sample population. Semi-structured, face-to-face interviews were conducted with
respondents. The collected data was documented and analysed using interpretivist paradigm and content analysis.
Findings- The results indicate that various types of businesses experience different sales effects during such festivals. Location of retail outlets and their effective strategies influence sales. Findings also show that hotels, fast food restaurants, and beverage sectors show higher sales as compared to other sectors. The retail stores showed slight increase in sales, but electronics/appliances stores experienced almost no change, and some even showed negative sales.
Practical Implication- Businesses can take maximum advantages of such events and enhance their revenue by adopting different strategies. Governments can take advantage of such studies, and promote festivals as they have influential power on
attracting large number of visitors towards the host destination

Muhammad Iqbal and Grman Idealism: A Comparative Review
The phrase Idealism is not new for the students and readers of Philosophy, however, when the prefix German is added before it, it acquires a different meaning, mood, taste and inclination. German Idealism is distinguished from all other forms of European Idealisms. It concentrated on mind as an active and self-conscious entity. German Idealists suppressed the traditional ontologies based on substances and their accidents. The most prominent German Idealists include I - Immanuel Kant (1724-1804), II- Johann Gottelib Fichte (1762-1814), III-Friedrich Wilhelm Joseph Von Schelling (1775-1854) and IV- George Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (1770-1831).
Kant, though an empirical rationalist, could not deny the supremacy of mind over matter and of human beings over the external world. For him space, time and causality were the categories of mind, which it imposed on the outer world. However, he did believe in the dichotomy of mind and matter though he combined rationalism and empiricism in his Transcendental Idealism, which is an unconscious move towards unity despite the belief in noumena and phenomena. Later thinkers, however, gradually moved closer and closer to the Idealism and especially Monism.
Some salient features of German Idealism which give it a distinct identity separate from the rest of Western Philosophy include: i- Idea of the Absolute, ii- Beginning of the world in the Absolute, iii- Stages and phases of Self- consciousness, iv- Unity of the Subject and Object, v-First traces of Philosophical Anthropology (What man is in itself beyond all physical things and the universe?), vi- Intellectual intuition as a source of knowledge and a tendency towards esotericism, vii – Enthusiastic interest in Dialectics, viii- Freedom and Determinism, ix- Self as an entity free of external and causal determinants , x- Ideas of Ego and Spirit, xi- World Spirit and xii- Existence as a whole or a Unity.
These eternal, perennial, deep, highbrow, captivating, serious, scholarly, cherished, enthralling and fascinating ideas were presented and discussed at length by Muhammad Iqbal too in his Reconstruction of Religious Thought in Islam. Only one glance at the salient features of German Idealism brings into mind the familiar philosophical topics on which Muhammad Iqbal has written extensively. Besides his Urdu and Persian poetry, his political ideas bear profound stamps of these ideas. Therefore, this comparative study is academically justified, intellectually stimulating and scholastically enriching

N-Acetyl Cysteine Inhibits Endothelin-1-Induced ROS Dependent Cardiac Hypertrophy through Superoxide Dismutase Regulation
Objective: Oxidative stress down regulates antioxidant enzymes including superoxide
dismutase (SOD) and contributes to the development of cardiac hypertrophy. N-Acetyl
cysteine (NAC) can enhance the SOD activity, so the aim of this study is to highlight the
inhibitory role of NAC against endothelin-1 (ET-1)-induced cardiac hypertrophy.
Materials and Methods: In this experimental study at QAU from January, 2013 to March,
2013. ET-1 (50 μg/kg) and NAC (50 mg/kg) were given intraperitoneally to 6-day old neonatal
rats in combination or alone. All rats were sacrificed 15 days after the final injection. Histological
analysis was carried out to observe the effects caused by both drugs. Reactive oxygen
species (ROS) analysis and SOD assay were also carried out. Expression level of hypertrophic
marker, brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), was detected by western blotting.
Results: Our findings showed that ET-1-induced cardiac hypertrophy leading towards
heart failure was due to the imbalance of different parameters including free radical-induced
oxidative stress and antioxidative enzymes such as SOD. Furthermore NAC acted
as an antioxidant and played inhibitory role against ROS-dependent hypertrophy via regulatory
role of SOD as a result of oxidative response associated with hypertrophy.
Conclusion: ET-1-induced hypertrophic response is associated with increased ROS production
and decreased SOD level, while NAC plays a role against free radicals-induced
oxidative stress via SOD regulation

Knowledge, attitudes and practices were assessed according to the operational definitions. Of the 162 respondents, 106(65.4%) were males and 56(34.6%) were females. The overall mean age was 31±6.2 years. Adequate knowledge was found in 41(25%) subjects. Overall, 56(35%) respondents reported having had a needle-stick injury, and, among them, 49(87.5%) had a positive attitude. Also, 156(96.3%) participants followed good practices. Although entirely preventable, needle stick injuries were found to be common, indicating the need for proper implementation or revision of existing policies and attainment of safe needle devices
Achieving Bilateral, Regional and Global Peace and Sustainability Through Common Grounds
The opening of Kartarpur Corridor brings forward common ground between the two countries for bilateral, regional and global peace and sustainability. The gains of one are considered losses to the other with incidents like, lock down in Indian Kashmir, Indian Citizenship Law, atrocities along the Line of Control (LOC), Pulwama incident, and surgical strike. We propose that peace and sustainability process between the two countries with its roots in Kartarpur corridor as a common ground may help in developing future global directions. Spatial, social, spiritual, economics and strategic (SSSES) tourism dynamics of Kartarpur Corridor is our active area of focus in this study. Expanding common grounds is a formula for regional and global peace. The data from (384 Pakistanis and 384 non-Pakistani Sikh yatrees) is collected. The analysis and the results support the hypotheses of the study and the recommendations help working in line for development of tourism for SSSES
"Redefining Ethical Engagement: Integrating Ethics of Care in Contemporary Moral Discourse"
The paper considers the roots of Care Ethics as a new way of moral thinking that is changing the ways of perceiving to the moral responsibility and compassionate behavior in the present world. Influenced by feminist ethics, relational ontology, and different philosophical sources, the essay confronts the ethical consequences of care systems in different areas like health care, environment care and social justice. By means of its critical elaboration and utilizing case studies from actual experience it shows the way Ethics of Care transcends traditional moral theories and helps change the ethical approach into more empathetic and inclusive. Essentially, this essay argues for the adoption of care ethics as a key component in the worldview of moral decisions when seeking to tackle the complex ethical issues of today
